Who Has the Substance and the Vision?

vis 1If America is to continue to be what Ronald Reagan described as, “the shining light on the hill,” what we need, what we must have, is leadership. True leadership. We must have the sort of leadership that holds the vision of the Founders and Framers in the highest regard and the sort of leadership that realizes that our Constitution regulated government, not guns, placed strict limits on the power of the presidency rather than on the power of the people and made government accountable TO the people rather than making the people accountable to the government.

2016 could well be our last chance to reclaim the vision of our Founders and Framers. It could well be the last opportunity we have to save our exceptionalism and to save our liberties.

What we need, what we must have, is the sort of leadership that is laser focused on what’s best for the nation, how to rebuild our place on the world stage, how to implement national security, rebuild the trust of our allies and how to stop our economic bleeding that is the result of too much government interference in every aspect of our personal lives, too many government mandated regulations and far, far too much government waste in our government’s spending habits.

From the left side of the aisle, the candidates are Bernie Sanders, a confirmed and admitted socialist and Hillary Clinton, a corrupt politician who is under numerous investigations that could, should and I believe will result in indictments including espionage against the United States.

Sour Grapes, False Accusations and Dubious Endorsements

vote 1Well NOW, let’s take a few moments here to get a clear picture of the campaign for 2016…a snapshot…a moment in time, frozen so as to really take stock of the current situation.

Shall we?

Dr. Ben Carson is whining, Donald Trump is threatening law suits, Sanders is blubbering that Clinton isn’t enough of a socialist to deserve the liberal/socialist nomination, Clinton is doing her level best to ignore the mountains of evidence that will lead to her indictment, several candidates have dropped out of the race, others that should…haven’t and Jeb Bush’s donors…many of them…want their money back.

I’ve been to a three ring circus before and while this whole thing does bear some resemblance, I believe it comes closer to being a three ring FREAK show.

First of all…Dr. Ben Carson. Before the Ted Cruz campaign sent out an email, reporting exactly what had been delivered via CNN, you were polling in fourth place at 9% of the Iowa vote. WHILE that false report was out there…you were polling at 9% of the Iowa vote and AFTER it had been retracted but while the Cruz camp was still asking your supporters to caucus with Cruz…you FINISHED the night with 9.31% of the vote.

Please explain for everyone exactly how devastating the Cruz camp email was to your final tally.

Then there’s Donald Trump who is threatening to sue anybody he thinks is responsible for his second place finish in Iowa. He claims he’s going to sue Cruz because of the caucus night email. He’s going to sue Cruz for the prior week’s mailer. He’s going to sue Cruz for being born. Hell…I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he threatens to sue Cruz because the rhyming campaign slogan…”Choose Cruz” comes across more positive than the rhyming slogan…”Dump Trump” does.

In His Own Words

tt 1As Donald Trump continues to lead in the polls and as we are now but two weeks from the Iowa caucus…the first votes to be cast in our nation in 2016…I felt it was high-time we take a look at WHY Trump is so popular in some conservative circles.

What IS it that the Trumpers are so giddy about?

Trumpers, in their more than self-righteous way, will line up to tell you if you just ask and, I have asked.

Here is what I have been told…

Donald Trump will not be beholding to big corporations.

Are they SURE of this? I mean, Trump has a very long history of making deals with big corporations to finance his projects from hotels and casinos to golf courses and shopping centers and let’s face a certain fact that is being completely ignored by the Trumpers…that being that Donald Trump IS a big corporation.

Trump can’t be bought.

Trumpers will tell you at the drop of a hat that Trump can’t be bought like other politicians. That he, because of his wealth, is above all that but, again there is something which Trumpers routinely, religiously ignore. Trump is the guy that BUYS politicians and their political favors.

In fact, during the very first Republican debate, Donald Trump not only admitted to buying politicians and political favors…

Ending ISIS Starts With REAL Leadership

is 1“For more than a year, America has led a coalition of more than 60 countries to cut off ISIL’s financing, disrupt their plots, stop the flow of terrorist fighters, and stamp out their vicious ideology. With nearly 10,000 air strikes, we are taking out their leadership, their oil, their training camps, and their weapons. We are training, arming, and supporting forces who are steadily reclaiming territory in Iraq and Syria.”

That is just some of the nonsense Obama spewed forth a week ago in what was his last State of Fabrication address but that’s not all he had to say on the topic of ISIS.

“Masses of fighters on the back of pickup trucks and twisted souls plotting in apartments or garages pose an enormous danger to civilians and must be stopped. But they do not threaten our national existence.”

“We don’t need to build them up to show that we’re serious, nor do we need to push away vital allies in this fight by echoing the lie that ISIL is representative of one of the world’s largest religions. We just need to call them what they are  —  killers and fanatics who have to be rooted out, hunted down, and destroyed.”

Let’s start right there, shall we…with calling them what they are.

The SCOTUS and NBC

A few days ago I wrote an article, “Cruz, Rubio, Vattel and the Ineligibility Lies” in nb 1which I put forth the reasons that both Cruz and Rubio are, indeed, eligible to run for and hold the office of president. That article garnered a whole bunch of notice…much of it positive and some negative.

Obviously, neither Trumpers nor birthers liked it and they let me know about it in no uncertain terms but none of them bothered to argue their opinions with facts regardless of how I encouraged them to state their facts. As I said in the article, “Now, if you want me to climb aboard the crazy train of so-called ‘birthers,’ there are only a few things you need to do. Just show me a law, or a definition from our Constitution that makes either Cruz or Rubio Constitutionally ineligible and not only will I ride the crazy train, I’ll sell tickets to it.”

Not a single one took me up on the offer. Not one and why? Because no law, no U.S. Code and not a single definition OF Natural Born Citizen from ANY of our founding documents exists to prove their opinions to be correct.

I even asked them to show me one Supreme Court case that was ON the topic of NBC and they couldn’t do that either because the Supreme Court has never HEARD a case on NBC.

But there was one person who, on the website ‘Patriot Action Network’ posed a very interesting question and one which I feel deserves an in-depth answer.

Cruz, Rubio, Vattel and the Ineligibility Lies

Obviously, it is once again time to address a certain issue that has, thanks to Trumpers, elig 1been brought to the forefront because they are scared that their one and only candidate…who is by all indications, running for the position of dictator…is on the verge of being overtaken in some key states.

Ted Cruz IS a natural born citizen and so too, is Marco Rubio.

Oh, I know that’s not the scuttlebutt coming from butt-scuttlers but it is true nonetheless.

Now, if you want me to climb aboard the crazy train of so-called ‘birthers,’ there are only a few things you need to do. Just show me a law, or a definition from our Constitution that makes either Cruz or Rubio Constitutionally ineligible and not only will I ride the crazy train, I’ll sell tickets to it.

Trumps Trump-drunk trolls are all over the place spewing their, and his brand of nonsense regarding this issue and not a single one of them has ever produced a shred of real evidence against the eligibility of Cruz or Rubio.
