20 Years and 20/20 Hindsight

It’s been 20 years since the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil. 20 years since we lost nearly 3,000 people to radical Islamic murderers. 20 years of memories, memorials, and healing. 20 years of not forgetting what happened or who was responsible for it.

In the days which followed the September 11th 2001 attacks, Americans came together only to separate again – but for a few days anyway, Americans were united in the knowledge of who perpetrated this attack and the belief that we needed to go and get them no matter where they were hiding, no matter how long it would take.

It was al Qaeda. Radical Islam. An ideology not a religion. They had been at war with us for years but we had not adopted that stance; and instead, passed off their aggression as isolated attacks, a matter for law enforcement rather than for the military. We had been wrong in that tact and on September 11th 2001, we paid for it.

9/11 By the Numbers – Never Forget

9:37am.

9:59am.

10:03am.

10:28am.

On 9/11 2001, the day was a blur for anyone who was old enough to be paying attention to the breaking news. It also remains crystal clear to those who are still paying attention. It all happened so fast, and yet it seemed like slow motion.

At 8:46am, American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into floors 93 through 99 of the North Tower (1 WTC).

At 9:03am, as people stared at the gaping hole in 1WTC, trying to figure out how such a thing could happen, but before people began to ponder the loss of life, United Airlines Flight 175 smashed into floors 77 through 85 of the South Tower (2 WTC).

Trump – All Sound Bite and No Substance

oht 1There can be no two people happier about Donald Trump’s empty rhetoric this week than Obama and Hillary Clinton and while Trump continues to grin like the cat that swallowed the media canary, people who should care about real issues are being bamboozled.

For once, Obama doesn’t even have to concoct a distraction…Trump is handling that for him.

Was Trump right to state that we should put a temporary ban on Muslim immigration and employ profiling to minimize future jihadis entering our nation?

Yes, but he missed the key reason why…that being that we are engaged in a war against an ideology and not a religion as Islam is the former and not the latter but Trump has not explained himself and why should he? His Trumpers are eating it up and the media is talking about nothing else.

There’s a reason for that and I suspect Trump has been paying a staff to do nothing but look at social media to discern what Conservatives are calling for. Notice how Trump has yet to put forth an original idea. He takes whatever is the hot-button topic of the week and puffs himself up over it spewing rhetoric with no substance behind it.

Build a wall…make Mexico pay for it.

“Torture Report” is ALL About Liberalism – Part 2

In yesterday’s article, “Torture Report” is ALL About Liberalism”…I outlined the fundamentals of REAL torture, who commits REAL torture and who the REAL victims of torture ARE…all theCHEN 1 while excoriating those whining liberal bottom-feeders who are now advocating everything from empathizing with terrorists to apologizing to the bastard vermin.

I fully agree with the assessment of former Vice President Dick Cheney: “The only thing I would have done differently than the Bush Administration was to kill them once we had gotten all the information we could get out of them.”

THAT end result seems to me to be FAR more civilized than this current Muslim regime’s insipid and inhumane practice of releasing the world’s pig vomit back into society where they can take up where they left off…committing authentic acts of torture against the innocent peoples of the world as they rush down the path toward genocide.

If any apology is owed by America to anyone regarding the terrorists detained and questioned at GITMO…it is for this regime’s insistence that they be set free to prey upon others and it is this regime and it’s minions to issue that apology.

Yesterday, I concluded my article by promising to reveal why, in my opinion, liberals are now pouring gas on the fires of jihad and so, here it is…

A California liberal/socialist member of what must be the Islamic caucus in the House of Representatives said something SO vile it nearly made me puke.

During an MSNBC interview, Jackie Speier told Craig Melvin that the CIA should APOLOGIZE to…TERRORISTS…over the treatment a few received during questioning as outlined in the 500 page Finestein “TERRORISTS ARE THE REAL VICTIMS” summary of the 6300 page “ALLAH BE PRAISED” report compiled by liberals over the past 5 years regarding enhanced interrogation techniques that ended 6 years ago.

According to this Speier piece of trash…”The agency (the CIA) needs to do some soul searching.”

Really?

The CIA needs to do some soul searching. NOT ISLAM mind you but…it’s the CIA that needs to “do some soul searching.”

Listen Speier, you sorry excuse for a human being…

Friday Fume

My neck hurts from shaking my head all week and I’ll bet yours does too.

OUR government spent $890 THOUSAND dollars on SERVICE FEES related to 13 THOUSAND EMPTY GOVERNMENT bank accounts and SOCIALISTS STILL WON’T ADMIT WE’RE BROKE…Socialists in congress are trying to give OBAMACARE a SHOT IN THE ARM by trying to RAISE TAXES ON THE FLU VACCINE and 15 year old kids, who have to have a note from a doctor to take an ASPIRIN at school can now buy PLAN B ABORTION PILLS WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION OR PARENTAL NOTIFICATION!!!

But that’s just the BEGINNING of this week’s socialist insanity.

What I’m about to relate seems TOO absurd to be REAL but, I assure you…I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP!!!

Weekend Edition: The Hagel Debacle – Unfit For Command

Former Senator, Chuck Hagel, underwent his confirmation hearing last week and it was, quite clearly, the worst performance of a nominee to any post I have ever seen.

It was abysmal.

Many, trying to be nice, say he was unprepared.

Those being honest say he is simply either not qualified or is, in fact, incompetent.

And then there is the socialist brain-trust.

NPR ran an article, “Hagel’s Hearing: 7 Things We Learned” and in it, they whine about the hearing being nothing but political and weep tears of disgust over how those mean, nasty and oh-so-partisan Republicans were bullying poor Chuck Hagel.

Perhaps NPR has, inadvertently, made a sound point.

It was political.

After watching and listening to Hagel during last week’s confirmation hearing, one thing jumped out at me and I’m sure, many of you as well.

What ARE his qualifications to become the Secretary of Defense???

According to Hagel himself…

“I volunteered for the draft and then volunteered to go to Vietnam after I received orders to go to Germany.”
