About That Letter of Apology…

A few days ago, Valley High School faced off against Des Moines North in an Iowa High School State Basketball Tournament game.

Valley won that hard-fought game, at least, they won it on the scoreboard…but elsewhere, they lost it big-time.

You see…it is something of a tradition at Valley High School, that when they play in the state tourney, their fans forego the school’s colors of black and orange, and instead wear red, white and blue as inspiration, cheering on their team to something greater than just a high school behind where the weathermen stands.

It is Iowa, after all, in the heartland of the nation where patriotism grows like crops in the fields and pride in one’s country is as natural, and normal, as going to the movies on a Friday night.

Life’s a Bitch, Princess…Deal With It

deal-1It’s high time I deliver a quaint message to one particular group of individuals, and to be perfectly honest, I don’t give a happy damn whose fragile feelings I hurt in the process.

I’m talking about those quivering, gelatinous puddles of liberal goo in our universities and colleges who despite seeking a higher education, just can’t handle reality.

If, for the last week or so, you’ve been curled up in the fetal position, sobbing and unshowered, wadding and unwadding globs of Play Dough and your soiled panties, blowing bubbles when you aren’t drooling and wondering why your specifically assigned therapy puppy won’t give you the time of day…it’s because your parents failed.

They brought you up to believe that somehow, you were more special than you ever really were. They told you that no matter how bad you were at something…you were great at it. They managed to convince you that you were their little princess whether you peed standing up or sitting down and they told you that you were always going to be able to have whatever you wanted.

Your parents were abject failures, but they aren’t the only abject failures in your young lives because your teachers lied to you.

Paris – The Final Alarm Has Sounded

The horrific nature of the events, as they unfolded in Paris a couple of nights ago, havehell 1 shed the glaring light of truth on the absurdity under which we live. The real questions are these…at what point will we finally open our eyes and how much of this must be endured before we wake the hell up?

Islamic terrorist attack after Islamic terrorist attack takes place. They take place in our country, in France, in Spain, in England, in Bali and around the globe and for a few, brief moments, we open one eye, decry the acts and then…then we roll over and go back to sleep.

Yes…we have fought wars but it is how we have been forced to fight those wars that raise more questions then they answer.

We have the strongest military on earth but…

Geller – Standing Tall in Garland

draw 1Last Sunday, Garland Texas became the new Paris France and thus, ground zero for the war against freedom of expression.

Two gunmen showed up at the Draw Muhammad event, an event held in the exact same building where, in January, an event promoting political correctness and restrictions on free speech was held.

One police officer was wounded at Sunday’s event and the mainstream media, liberal lapdogs that they are, immediately blamed event organizer Pamela Geller for the violence. Nothing could be further from the truth but liberals never assess blame on the perpetrators do they? It’s always someone else’s fault and therein we find the real issue.

Just a few weeks ago, over at MSNBC, Chris Matthews went off the handle stating that NOBODY should EVER refer to ANYONE as a Nazi but, before the gun smoke cleared in Garland, Matthews called Pamela Geller and her organization, The American Freedom Defense Initiative, a bunch of Nazis and added that Geller had “set a mousetrap for Muslims,” and that she had “provoked” the attack.

What Matthews FAILED to mention was that January’s “Stand with the Prophet Muhammad” pro Islam event at the exact same Culwell Center venue was what provoked Geller’s event. In other words, those standing for American values are disallowed from provoking Islamists but when Islamists provoke Americans…
