The Albatross That Is Quid Pro Quo

The albatross is a superstitious relic written about in Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s poem “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.” In that poem the narrator killed the bird and his fellow sailors eventually forced him to carry the burden of his crime by wearing the dead bird around his neck. Ever since, the albatross has become a metaphor for a psychological burden that feels like a curse.

The Democrat party has an albatross, a burden that is a curse from which they have but one means of escape…they must remove said albatross from their ship. And that albatross is Joe Biden. He’s in trouble…deep trouble…and the peril for his party is real if they fail to cast the albatross overboard for the trouble Joe Biden is in is much more than political, it’s legal in nature and it’s international in scope. The peril for his party is of his party’s own doing as they continue backing Biden out of a combination of desperation, arrogance, and hatred of Biden’s foe in the upcoming election…President Donald J. Trump.

We want to be very clear here that while desperation over losing the 2016 election and a defacto third term in office for Obama…with Hillary Clinton being but the facade of power in the U.S…coupled with the arrogance of the Democrat party feeling that they were entitled to a third Obama term to finish the “fundamental transformation of America” into a socialist state, did and still does indeed play a significant role in this dire saga. And it’s not blind faith in Joe Biden that has driven the Democrat party to the brink of political disaster…it’s simply their blind hatred of President Trump which has now led them to the edge of the abyss.

Autopsy of a Failed Coup

“Investigate the investigators if you must. When those investigations are over, they will find the work was done appropriately and focused only on discerning the truth of very serious allegations. There was no corruption. There was no treason. There was no attempted coup. Those are lies, and dumb lies at that.”

That was the latest statement put out as part of an op-ed last week by former FBI Director, James Comey regarding bias in his FBI related to the investigation into the Russian collusion fabrication during the 2016 campaign.

As a result of that investigation, which, let’s face it, was a choreographed, orchestrated witch hunt based on a fraudulent, and manufactured dossier compiled from Russian agents, assembled by a former British spy, and paid for in part by Hillary Clinton, and in part by the FBI itself under James Comey, has caused the majority of the American people to lose faith, and trust in our nation’s top law enforcement agency.

Let me be clear here. There are plenty of good, solid FBI agents working in that agency today, just as there were in 2016, and those good agents should not be held accountable for what a few did, but…

Liberals are nothing more to the mainstream media than a dead mouse is to a cat…something with which to play, and liberals have been played for fools by the MSM with regard to “Russian Collusion” for the past two years.

From the day President Trump was nominated to this very minute, the mainstream media has told their legion of liberal cat toys that Trump colluded with the Russians to beat Hillary. They have told their dead mice that Trump was guilty of colluding with the Russians, and that he was guilty of obstructing justice over it.

Liberals…Victims of Their Own Desperation

Liberals are growing more desperate by the day, but the desperation didn’t start yesterday. In many cases, it is hard, if not impossible to pinpoint the nexus of desperation. Most often, desperation is a progression between cause and effect…it is something that sets in over time, and circumstances.

That is not the case with the sort of liberal desperation we are seeing, and let’s be honest in this…we can trace the nexus of it to a specific point in time, and a specific event.

The sort of liberal desperation we see day in and day out now, the desperation that is growing more convoluted by the day if not by the hour had a very specific moment of origin.

The date was…May 3rd, 2016…

Rosenstein and the Rosetta Stone Documents

Right about now, Rod Rosenstein should be sweating like a Kardashian on Jeopardy, but he is far from the only one who should be feeling the extreme heat.

Last Friday, the NY Times published a piece stating that Rosenstein had suggested wearing a wire to secretly record President Trump, as well as suggesting employing cabinet members to do the same, and then use the 25th Amendment to deem President Trump unfit to hold the office, and remove him from office.

Make no mistake…that is a coup attempt…a plan to overthrow a sitting, duly elected President of the United States.

Hey Liberals…Neener Neener

In the past several articles here in The National Patriot, I have outlined the pitfalls of socialism…not that conservatives aren’t already aware of such things…and not that liberals would read those articles even if they could read.

The overwhelming history of socialism is that, everywhere it has ever been implemented, and every time it has been implemented, it eventually collapses in failure.

Last week, in several primary races leading up to the 2018 midterm elections this November, liberals need look no further than their own candidates to witness such a collapse.

In the weeks and days leading up to several key primaries, liberals sent their socialist collective darlings…Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cynthia Nixon and Bernie Sanders, otherwise known as the Marxist Sisters and the namesake of Weekend at Bernie’s…on an extended road trip to whip up support for their fellow socialist candidates.

John McCain…An Angry, Bitter Liberal

“It doesn’t matter, he’s dying anyway.”

That was the response from Presidential Special Assistant, Kelly Sadler, during a discussion regarding opposition to Gina Haspel’s nomination for CIA director which included John McCain’s statement that while he believes Haspel is a “patriot,” he also believes “her refusal to acknowledge torture’s immorality is disqualifying.”

McCain himself was tortured as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, which puts his views into context, but what it doesn’t take into account is that the North Vietnamese engaged in torture well above and beyond the sorts of enhanced interrogation techniques employed by the CIA in recent years.

The outrage over Kelly Sadler’s comment has been widely played up by the mainstream media over the past week, and some have openly called for her to be fired.
