Gun Control – Rush to a Reckoning

The Emperor, assorted socialists in congress, Hollywood and roaming socialists are all, lock, stock and smoking barrel in a full blown, hair-trigger panic over gun control.

They want it.

They want it right now.

The absolute desperation over gun control by socialists reminds me of something.

Let’s see…What was it again?

Oh yes…

OBAMACARE!!!

Socialists HAD to have Obamacare and they had to have it SO FAST they couldn’t even allow time for Members of congress, or the public for that matter, to READ the bill before they PASSED the bill.

This gun control nonsense is no different.

With Obamacare, we were all told some very specific things.

We were told it was NOT a tax.

We were told that EVERYBODY would be covered.

We were told there were no “death panels”

We were told it was…”AFFORDABLE” for crying out loud.

We were told that Obamacare would LOWER the cost of coverage.

We were told that Obamacare would CREATE jobs.

In fact, we were told a whole LOT of things about Obamacare and, as it turns out, EVERYTHING we were told about it was a lie.

Did I say that this “gun control” nonsense was no different?

Friday Fume

So friends…as Facebook tries their level best to clamp down on The National Patriot and our fellow CONSERVATIVE bloggers…We press on. We hope you will share the Friday Fume, our other articles and those of our great blogger friends found on our blog roll every day in conservative FB groups and with your friends.

It’s been another tough week but…WE’RE NOT GOING AWAY!!!

Our thanks too, to the Examiner, for running an article and looking into the FB matter yesterday…If we all stand together…WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!

Now that I have THAT off my chest…It’s time to get down to the serious business of having some fun at the expense of socialists, liberals and the idiots who never fail to do the dumbest things.

I’m fuming.

Well…

Obama’s LAPDOG will still be fetching the Emperor’s HOUSE slippers for the next 2 years.

John Boehner, who has spent the last 2 years listing hard to port, has been reelected to the Speakers chair.

After the vote, Nancy Pelosi who again came in second, made her speech in which she…AGAIN…called our nation a DEMOCRACY!!!

Ummm…

WE’RE A REPUBLIC AND IF YA DON’T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE…SHUT YOUR BOTOXED PIE HOLE!!!!!

Good grief.

Then of course, it was Boehner’s turn to speak.

Unconstitutional Fiscal Cliff Deals for Socialist Dummies

How will the new UNCONSTITUTIONAL fiscal cliff tax deal effect our economy?

I’ll get back to that but first…

Let me count the ways.

First of all, the new legislation sets the standard for “rich” at $400k for an individual or $450k for a family rather than the $250k originally desired by the Emperor.

This will leave some small business in the NON rich category but not ALL small businesses.

Those small businesses which exceed the “rich” limit will have some options available to them. They can simply put the breaks on any planned growth of their business which will be the case for those approaching the limit or, they can downsize if they are just barely OVER the limit.

What will be the MOST likely scenario will be businesses raising the cost of goods or services to compensate for their increased tax bill.

THAT, of course means, those who BUY those goods or services will have THEIR taxes raised by proxy.

Then there is the fact that EVERYBODY…not just the “rich” will see a tax increase.

That’s right…Part of the new fiscal cliff tax deal is that everybody…EVERYBODY will see their PAYROLL taxes go UP which means EVERYBODY will have LESS take home pay.

Nice huh?

All that talk from the Emperor during his campaign about making sure that the middle class would NOT have their taxes raised?

We Have Officially Gone Over the Sanity Cliff

Maybe the Mayans were right and we’re all too apathetic to notice that the world really has come to an end.

We are no longer facing the fiscal cliff…We’ve officially gone over it, for now. Today, maybe tomorrow or perhaps later in the week, the House will attempt something only seen previously in cartoons…Hanging in mid-air, turning around and trying to run back to safety before gravity sets in.

Last night, the senate passed a sort of, almost, not really fix for the fiscal crisis in that it included no spending cuts, doesn’t deal at all with sequester and only raises taxes on those making $400k per year.

The house hasn’t voted yet, and they might not like it at all since they didn’t like it when the tax hikes hit those making a million or more.

Given the fact that congress has a single digit approval rating, they waited until AFTER the last minute to do anything on this fiscal cliff issue and the senate hasn’t passed a budget in 1400 days or so…

Naturally they all deserve a raise.

Right?

I mean, we’re now 16.4 TRILLION dollars in debt, taxes are going up, spending is NOT going down and Congress  is basically waiving the white flag so…Obama signs an executive order giving them all a raise.

That ONLY makes sense if the world actually HAS ended…Right?

Haul Hillary In on a Gurney DAMNIT!!!

First…

She didn’t want to testify until her own “internal investigation” was complete.

Hillary wanted her own people to come up with their own facts regarding Benghazi.

“Let us complete our investigation” we were all told. Then, she said, she would have the facts.

Okay…

Next…She couldn’t testify before a congressional committee because she had…Prior plans.

A wine tasting in Australia.

Oh…But she WILL testify we were all told. They were in the process of completing their “internal investigation.”

After that, Hillary contracted a “stomach virus” which kept her at home.

Hmmmm….

Then, finally…The “internal investigation” we were all waiting for was finished but, what’s this?

Hillary fell down.

She gave herself a concussion.

She couldn’t testify because she had a concussion but…Don’t worry…She WILL testify we were all told. She will…Just as soon as she’s better.

Friday Fume

Well my friends…Here we are, staring a brand new year square in the face.

What a year it’s been huh?

52 weeks…52 Fridays…

52 FUMES!!!!!

Since we all made it through the Mayan end of the world, ate far too much between Thanksgiving and Christmas and are now facing the fiscal cliff, higher taxes and more government intrusion into our lives and homes…

We have a couple of choices.

We can either let the pressure build up until we explode or…

We can take a few minutes at the end of the week to let off a little steam and laugh at the socialist idiots.

I choose the latter.

It’s Friday Patriots and…

I’m fuming.

New Year’s Eve just won’t be the same in Brasstown North Carolina this year.

For the past 19 years, the folks there have celebrated by…

LOWERING a ‘POSSUM in a cage from the top of a building and then…SETTING IT FREE IN THE WOODS.

Not any more.

PETA sued them for animal cruelty and put an end to the fun.

So…This year…event organizer, Clay Logan, the owner of Clay’s Corner Store,  says they’re working on a plan.

Resigned? Fired? – They’re STILL on the Payroll

In a corrupt government, one can expect slime at every turn.

The Benghazi 4 have now been given the finger once again by the State Department 4.

Those reported to have resigned or been fired have NOT and now, according to the New York Post, will be KEEPING their State Department jobs.

Assistant Secretary of State Eric Boswell, who “resigned” in the wake of a State Department internal investigative report has, in fact, ONLY resigned an “appointed” position and is STILL on the State Department payroll.

Boswell is simply moving to a different desk.

The other 3, including Charlene Lamb, were NOT fired…THEY are on “administrative leave” and ARE expected to be back at work in the State Department shortly although, probably at different posts.

Seriously…

WHAT THE HELL?????

We have a Secretary of State who “suffers a concussion” but never goes to a hospital, never has a CT scan and is well enough to work from home but far, FAR to “concussed” to appear at a congressional hearing and now, 4 who we were told, were FINISHED at the Department of State who, in fact, are FAR FROM finished there.

If that’s not enough…We have the soon to be nominated John Kerry to fill the Secretary of State position.

The Law of Unintended Consequences Strikes Back

The Law of unintended Consequences has struck with a particular Wham-Bam-Thank You- Ma’am over the last week and a half.

Go to a gun store today and try to buy an assault style rifle.

Go ahead…Try…You’ll be lucky to find a store with one in stock.

They’re sold out and awaiting resupply.

Why?

Because liberals and socialists mounted the largest gun buying frenzy in memory.

Oh, not that THEY were actually BUYING the weapons. Heavens NO…THEY want them BANNED and THEY have been VERY vocal about it in the last week and a half.

Unintended consequences.

The socialist call for a ban on assault style rifles has led to the biggest ever purchasing frenzy OF them in history. Law abiding citizens, filling out the paperwork and buying every such gun in sight.

CONGRATULATIONS SOCIALISTS…YOU BUILT THAT!!!!!

In your fervor to trash the Constitution and make it illegal to purchase a semi-automatic rifle…”to protect children…” YOU have, in fact, managed to sell MORE semi-auto rifles than ever before.

Bushmaster should add you to the Christmas card list for next year.

Of course…being so adamant regarding “gun control” isn’t the ONLY stupid thing socialists have done in the wake of the horrible situation in Newtown Connecticut.

Yesterday…THE WARNING SIREN WAS SOUNDED!!!

Yesterday, in what was surely the strangest press conference I have ever seen held by a president…One masquerading as one made some EAR SHATTERING announcements.

Ear shattering only if you aren’t DEAF to the sound of a nation’s destruction.

Normally, appointing Joe Biden to do ANYTHING would be a laughing matter but, this simply isn’t funny.

Biden has been put in charge of Obama’s commission to end gun violence.

The reason this isn’t at all laughable is because Biden couldn’t lead anyone’s way out of a wet paper sack and Obama damned well knows it.

Biden, therefore, is nothing but a figurehead and future pavement under a Canadian made bus should anything go wrong.

The entire commission, whoever should be appointed to it is a sham.

To be succinct…This panel or commission or board…Whatever it ends up being labeled…Is nothing different from the group of scum who drew up the Sharia law “constitution” for Morsi in Egypt.

It’s a kangaroo committee.

Make no mistake…The Emperor means to disarm Amerika and lay waste to the 2nd Amendment.

ENOUGH ALREADY – Arrest Hillary and Obama

The report that Hillary Clinton has been waiting for, before she agreed to testify regarding Benghazi has arrived and it’s little wonder why she now has a headache.

“…a pervasive realization among personnel who served in Benghazi that the Special Mission was not a high priority for Washington when it came to security-related requests, especially those relating to staffing.”

“Systemic failures…”

“Leadership and management deficiencies at senior levels within two bureaus.”

The security posture at the Benghazi consulate was “short-term, transitory” and “relatively inexperienced” — and ultimately “inadequate.”

The review board “found little evidence” that the guards provided by the militia “offered any meaningful defense”

The attacks “were unanticipated in their scale and intensity.”

U.S. officials were unable to find Ambassador Stevens “for several hours.”

So far, there is now one single thing, in the non-classified portions of the report, which states anything…ANYTHING different than what we, at The National Patriot, have reported.

Not one single thing.

In the 3 months since the terrorist attack in Benghazi which took the lives of 4 Americans, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has steadfastly refused to testify until this “internal report” had been concluded.

Odd isn’t it…That within a week of the report being made public, Clinton had a…stomach virus and…suffered a “concussion” which will prevent her from testifying at tomorrow’s hearing?

Just plain good damned timing is what I’d call it.

Oh…She’s well enough to “work from home” but far, far too incapacitated to show up and answer questions.

What’s next…Memory loss???
