It’s Time for the Tea Party Movement to End

There’s an incendiary headline for you.

The time for the Tea Party movement to die is now. Right now. It has served its purpose and now it’s time to kill it off, say goodbye and bury the movement forever.

Bury the MOVEMENT…Not the idea or the ideals but the MOVEMENT.

The Tea Party MOVEMENT is dead…LONG LIVE THE TEA PARTY!!!

That’s right…it’s now time to turn the movement into a full fledged PARTY before the next presidential election. Such things cannot happen overnight and time must be taken to do it the right way but do it we must.

If you are as tired as I am of being held hostage by the Republican Party establishment, WE have to make it clear to THEM that we’re just not gonna take it any more.

The Republican Party, the party of conservatism, REAGAN’S party has become the just barely right of center but leaning toward the center party and because of what we have been through for DECADES, that’s no longer good enough.

Obama is No Beethoven

It has been said that, “A lie can travel halfway round the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” It has also been said that the above quote came from Mark Twain. That, in and of itself, may well be a lie as it seems more probable that the quote came from Charles Haddon Spurgeon; but aside from this, what of Spurgeon do we know or, for that matter, care.

Regardless of the origin, the quote is true but only up to a point.

It describes but the beginning of the race. Truth, eventually, wins the day because the lie, eventually, stumbles.

As for Twain, a voluminous liar in practice, he did have something to say on the matter.

“The glory which is built upon a lie soon becomes a most unpleasant encumbrance. How easy it is to make people believe a lie, and how hard it is to undo that work again!”

“Almost all lies are acts, and speech has no part in them.”

“I am different from Washington; I have a higher, grander standard of principle. Washington could not lie. I can lie, but I won’t.”

Twain, indeed had a great deal to say regarding the practice or art of the lie, but perhaps my favorite is this:

The Kickback Kick Out

Yesterday, we at The National Patriot, brought you breaking news before Senator Ben Nelson announced his “retirement” and that he will not run in 2012. We then added to that blast with an update a couple of hours later. You can read that piece by clicking here.

Now, we know a little more regarding his announcement.

Suffice it to say that Nebraskans have been STEAMED at Nelson since the Cornhusker Kickback and obviously, the support for Nelson in Big Red country was down to zero.

Now, as he made that announcement yesterday, a singular line bears notice.

“The Tea Party must be stopped.”

This is a VERY important line and one which needs to be analyzed.

In uttering this line during his conference call, Nelson has allowed us into the secret behind closed door DNC agenda.

Okay, it’s not all that secret but, it’s an agenda many liberals have been trying to hide.

Can a 3rd Party be Viable?

Some in the Republican Party are calling for, or at least, starting to think about, the possibility of a 3rd party. I can understand their line of thinking to an extent.

They’re not happy with the current crop of GOP candidates and their not at all thrilled with the RNC at this point. They’re tired of the establishment and what seems to be predestined outcomes.

I get it.

This morning, my friend Mark posted the following:

“The Republican Party is officially in Disarray now, with Ron Paul favored to win Iowa, and Mitt Romney the odds on favorite to win the GOP Nomination. The Republican Establishment is orchestrating a strategy sure to snatch victory, from the jaws of certain defeat for Obama. One by one those that have threatened the coronation of Romney has the chosen one, have ceremoniously been taken down by the Establishment kill machine. I never thought I would feel this way at this point, but I think the day as indeed come for a Third Party in the lineage of Palin, West, Demint, Rubio, or a Mike Pence type. We are all tired of compromising our values at the polling place. In retrospect I now believe it was the Republican Establishment, not the DNC, that brought Herman Cain down. The RNC is not our friend. They are our Enemy.”

Politics on Christmas? Yes…and for a VERY Good Reason

If there is such a thing as divine providence, clearly it played a most important part in the events surrounding the founding of this nation.

For those who wish to separate Christmas from the politics of the day, I am with you but, one must realize that without connecting the two, we may well not have a nation at all.

When one thinks of Christmas, the true and first Christmas, one thinks of tiny Bethlehem. That’s where it started. Bethlehem.

So too, perhaps via divine providence, is Bethlehem a key to our nation’s birth.

Yes, it is a different Bethlehem than the one from the first Christmas but I ask you, is it coincidence? I rather doubt it as I don’t believe in such things either in politics OR divine providence.

ALL Tea Partiers MUST hold Beck Accountable

It’s funny to me how liberals cherry pick. For years, we’ve listened to liberals slam Glenn Beck. They have gone after him with  fervor and Media Matters made it their singular focus to damn him each and every day.

Personally, I was excoriated by liberals telling me that I never disagreed with Glen Beck and I never would. To them, I always replied, “When Beck says something I disagree with, I’ll be strong in my disagreement.

Today is that day.

A couple days ago, Beck made a comment with which I have a great deal of disagreement. Of course, the hypocrites on the left have now cherry picked this statement and have, over the weekend, thanks to the video going viral, made Beck their Champion.

“Occupiers” Inhabiting a Failing Agenda

“Whose Park?…OUR Park!”

That was the chant starting around midnight in Zuccotti Park in New York as NYPD officers started clearing out the protesters. “YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO THIS!” was another chant being belted out through a chorus of Occu-Pie-Holes.

Zuccotti Park is being clear out, at least for a few hours to clean up and remove the filth from 2 months of squatters. It’s become a health hazard, the people who live around the park are sick of it and businesses in the area have had enough. Mayor Bloomberg issued the order to clear the park and about 400 police officers started the process around midnight.

Once the park is cleaned, protesters WILL be allowed to return but they will NOT be allowed to bring their tents, tarps, shanty town kitchens or sleeping bags and winter is forthcoming. It is folly to believe the “Occupiers” are cut from the same cloth which wrapped the frozen feet of Washington’s men at Valley Forge as those men were fighting for ideals while the “Occupiers” are clinging to ideology.

That “Whose Park…OUR Park” chant couldn’t be more wrong.

In What America do YOU Believe?

Has the fool on the hill finally seen the light? Has Obama started to come around to OUR side? It certainly seems like it if you listen to the words he is now employing on his latest campaign swing.

“If you get sick, you’re on your own. If you can’t afford college, you’re on your own. If you don’t like that some corporation is polluting your air or the air that your child breathes, then you’re on your own.”

Sounds a lot like…Self Reliance to me.

2012…Win It or Lose It…It’s Up To Conservatives

Ron Paul followers believe that ONLY Ron Paul can save the country. They are wrong. Sarah Palin’s supporters believe that only Sarah Palin can save this country. They are wrong. The same can be said of almost all of the supporters of the individuals in the GOP field, and they are wrong.

The sooner conservatives come to this realization, the sooner we can start saving this nation; but in order to reach this realization, conservatives must come to grips with a few things.

1)     NO One Candidate Can Save This Nation.

It’s a simple premise – which will probably have some conservatives up in arms – but it’s true. No ONE single candidate can do it because no ONE single candidate is capable of doing it alone no matter who it is and no matter how hard that candidate’s followers or supporters are clinging to them.

Liberals…You ARE Who You Stand With

Well, conservatives have been saying and saying it and liberals have been denying it and denying it – but it is getting VERY hard to for liberals to say it with a straight face.

We have sited over and over the links between the socialists, the communists and the democrats. Now, the communists and socialists are helping to make our argument for u,s but they’re not the only ones.

Obama, Pelosi and liberal after liberal have stood up and backed the “Occupy” mobs and offered THEIR words of support to them. Did I mention the unions are right there in the mix too.

The Unions stand WITH the “Occupy” mobs.

Obama Stands WITH the “Occupy” mobs.

Pelosi stands WITH the “Occupy” mobs.

Liberal Hollywood stands WITH the “Occupy” mobs.

Now…so does the Communist Party USA!!!

Liberals and the MSM have been trying, REALLY trying, to convince us that the “Occupy” mobs are just like the Tea Party. Hmmm…I don’t recall the Tea Party events being backed by…THE COMMUNIST PARTY…do you?
