Politics and The First Christmas

chr 1It is difficult to escape the political undertow in today’s world. Politics is in play in everything we do, from our daily routines to events half way around the world. Our schools, our streets and roads…regulations imposed on everything from our businesses to the water we drink…wars, conflicts, diplomatic relations with nations both friend and foe…we can’t get up in the morning, proceed with our daily business or go to bed at night without political interference.

This time of the year, we do our best to ignore, to whatever extent possible, the world of politics in favor of time-honored traditions that revolve around Christmas or Chanukah, but we should not forget the role of politics IN Christmas…the first Christmas to be precise.

Just as the death of Jesus on the cross was politically motivated, so too was the story of his birth.

While the scriptures reveal that Joseph and Mary traveled to Bethlehem to pay their taxes, the truth goes politically deeper than that.

Cinco de Obama – Estúpido!!!

It seems to be high time that we, in this country, pay due respect to the Mexican Army…a fighting force like no other jose 1and the immense contributions they made to the allied effort to win WWII.

Yes… you did indeed read that opening line correctly…Mexico…MEXICO…was a key player in winning WWII.

Why…it seems like yesterday when, as a young lad, I was regaled with stories told by my dad and my uncle, both of whom fought for our nation during that world war, regarding the significant contributions made by the Mexicans.

In the Pacific…the Mexicans got involved in WWII when the Japanese bombed the hell out of Acapulco…sinking 2 cruise ships and setting an outdoor café afire.

Naturally…Mexico rebuilt their fleet and took off in hot pursuit of the Japanese.

There was the Battle of Midway where, had the Mexicans not been engaged in their afternoon siesta…they would have put up a tremendous fight…perhaps sinking a Japanese aircraft carrier or two but, regardless of their Midway midday nap…they did manage to rake out the sand along the beach before dinner.

And who could ever forget their presence in the Philippines where the Mexican Army of landscapers pruned the way through the dense jungle foliage for the Bataan Death March?

Friday Fume

fume 1I know it’s hard, if not impossible to laugh after the week we’ve all had but…trust me…if we don’t, we’re all gonna go screaming into the night.

This regime has traded 5 terrorists, so DISGUSTING that even the United Nations of Thugs, Thieves and Despots have labeled them international war criminals.

DO YOU EVEN REALIZE HOW VILE AND SUB HUMAN A MUSLIM HAS TO BE BEFORE THE U.N. DOESN’T LIKE THEM???

Most of the time, they just give them a seat on the HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL but THIS time…THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF CAMEL HUMPERS deemed them to be turds.

And those are the people Obama traded for a DESERTING TRAITOR!!!

Like I said…sometimes ya just gotta find a way to laugh so…don’t be drinking anything while you’re reading the rest of this because…I am NOT responsible for dousing your computer with your favorite beverage!!!

It’s Friday and…I’m fuming.

Well, isn’t this special…

Hailey Idaho, the home away from his Taliban home for Bowe Bergdahl WAS going to hold a GREAT BIG sloppy wet kiss event for Bowe on June 28th as a Welcome Home celebration.

Not any more.

Hailey Idaho has cancelled the event. Not gonna do it. Nope. Forget about it…ain’t gonna happen.
