Why I support Jon Huntsman Jr.

Huntsman is a moderate, which may lead some to call him a Republican in Name Only (RINO), but I think it would be much more accurate to call him a realist. By making compromises on the some issues, he gains goodwill (or debts, to look at it another way) that can be used to get votes he needs on other, more important, issues. Or accepting a compromise can keep things from going too far. For example, compromising domestic partnerships, to keep the issue from getting to actual same sex marriages. This is something he did while Governor of Utah.

Communications Matter

If there’s one thing I love, it is debating with liberals. In fact, this is a new revelation for me as I never argued politics until 2008.

Let’s face it, in the 2008 election, conservatives got stomped on. Were we wrong? No – clearly not. However, I believe we were not prepared for the radical war of words, actions and ideology we encountered.

Heck, even Hillary Clinton wasn’t prepared! She and her campaign were bullied out of arguably her right to run as the Democratic candidate for president by thugs invading her rallies.

Liberals VS the Second Amendment

Seemingly, it happens whenever there is a high profile event with dire consequences. It has happened before and it WILL happen again. Someone unhinged goes off and starts shooting. People get hurt, people die. It happens, somewhere, every day but only when it happens in a high profile situation do the liberals/socialists come out step up and proclaim they have the only sensible answer to future acts of madness.
