Dead wrong.
My liberal friends are already trying to convince me that the republican victory in New York last night is not a rebuke of Obama. If your liberal friends haven’t posed that theory to you yet…they will.
They are dead wrong.
Yesterday we looked back with an article, “9-11, We Remember” as many readers shared their memories of that day of unbelievable shock.
Today is September 12th 2011. From the day after until today, what have we learned in the 10 year span? What have we REALLY learned?
10 years ago today, we still stared at the TV and listened to radio reports. We were still in shock. The twin towers were gone, the Pentagon had been hit, there was a hole in the ground in PA where another plane had crashed and we watched and listened.
Across the country, airplanes sat on runways, most of them were not anywhere near their point of origin or destination. Tens of thousands of passengers were stranded.
10 years ago today, Americans wanted to help and thinking surely there would be hundreds if not thousands of injured survivors, we donated blood. Fire and rescue crews from cities towns and rural areas found a way to get to New York and help in the ground zero efforts.
It’s been 10 years since the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil. 10 years since we lost more than 3,000 people to radical Islamic murderers. 10 years of memories, memorials, and healing. 10 years of not forgetting what happened or who was responsible for it.
In the days which followed the September 11th 2001 attacks, Americans came together only to separate again – but for a few days anyway, Americans were united in the knowledge of who perpetrated this attack and the belief that we needed to go and get them no matter where they were hiding, no matter how long it would take.
It was al Qaeda. Radical Islam. An ideology not a religion. They had been at war with us for years but we had not accepted that stance; and instead, passed off their aggression as isolated attacks, a matter for law enforcement rather than for the military. We had been wrong in that tact and on September 11th 2001, we paid for it.
Last night’s “American Jobs Act” speech by Obama was THE most transparently obvious reelection campaign example of political pandering I have ever witnessed.
We all wondered why he decided to present this bill to a joint session of congress and why the nationally televised broadcast? Such things are State of the Union or declaration of war moments…not economic policy moments.
The answer revealed itself throughout the speech last night.
To fully understand it, one must think back a few weeks, to shortly before the Martha’s Vineyard vacation.
Unions.
Unions were talking openly about withdrawing their heavy support of Obama for 2012. Unions were upset, thinking this administration had turned away from them in Wisconsin, Ohio and elsewhere. Unions felt that Obama wasn’t doing enough to defend their tactics.
Here at the National Patriot, we know how hard it is to listen to yet ANOTHER Obama speech…we do. That is why we have taken this opportunity to give you the one and only tool available to make tonight’s Job(less) Speech something which you can enjoy. We don’t know who came up with this but…we salute them!!

We can now stop calling it “The Big Jobs Speech” and start calling it the “American Jobs Act” as that is what Obama will, later today, unveil before a joint session of congress. “The American Jobs Act” and I can tell you now, before the speech is made, that Obama has failed.
How can one say, before the speech that it has failed? Because in it’s very title, we find the fundamental flaw, the precise thing which will cause its self destruction. “The American Jobs ACT.”
What this president cannot grasp, because of his ideology is that GOVERNMENT does NOT create jobs and any ACT of government aimed at doing so will fail. Government creates government jobs and sure those jobs look shiny and attractive…for a while…but they cannot be sustainable.
What are we to expect from a president who has never had a job in the private sector, never created jobs in the private sector and who’s revolving door of top economic advisers has never spit out anyone who has any economic experience beyond the halls of academia?
The PEOPLE who create jobs, the entrepreneurs, small business owners, and corporate business owners all want the same thing. They want government OFF their backs…PERIOD. When those people catch onto to some ACT of government meant to create jobs are they going to breathe a big sigh of relief? Will they just start creating jobs out of thin air? Of course not because this is exactly more of the same as far as they are concerned.
Another government act, another government program, another promise to put Americans to work right now…from the GOVERNMENT.
Never has such an anticipated speech by a President been so completely forgettable before it’s even been presented. Obama will deliver his great jobs speech before a joint session of congress and while liberals will no doubt stand and applaud at every little thing and will cheer each at every spending measure Obama announces, the response will be silent and that silence will be deafening!!
Republicans expect so little from this ballyhooed speech that they have already decided not to even offer a rebuttal.
Nancy Pelosi, deposed from the speaker’s chair last November is not happy about it either. Nancy has her former speaker’s panties all wadded up as she has let it be known that such a non rebuttal is an affront to the President.
Oh my.
Presidents speak before a joint session of congress for the State of the Union or if they want to wage war. Outside of that, such a speech is rarely given especially on matters of domestic economics.
You can now add a couple more names to the list. The liberal lexicon has grown. Liberals, the self-appointed party of tolerance has, 
increasingly since 2008, been showing their true colors – and this past weekend, they have ratcheted up their worn out agenda of name calling.
This time it’s more than rhetoric.
This time, they declared war.
Over the years, when it comes to the Tea Party, liberal/socialists have engaged in a “throw it at the wall and see if it sticks” campaign of labels and name calling hoping beyond rational thought that something, ANYTHING would catch on. Nothing has because all of it, all of the labels, all of the name calling has been purely fabricated.
As the Tea Party began to emerge back in 2009, the first label was, “Astroturf” and it did not stick. The Tea Party was and still is a true grassroots movement – but even in the very beginning, liberals were scared enough to try to label it as a fake grassroots movement.
What is in a “corporation?” What lies within a corporation other than bosses, subordinates, paper-shufflers, logistics,
marketing, administrators, accountants, paperclips, staplers, water coolers, and workplace gossip? How would you define it? Would you define it as an entity which makes up it’s own rules for it’s own employees within a culture of it’s own and for it’s own structural operation? I’d say that would paint a fairly accurate portrait. But, how would you define our Federal Government? Bear in mind that I’m not talking about the political body which was formed 230 years ago, nor am I talking about the political body which diligently respected the rights of citizens all through the constitutional implementation process which lasted until the 1830s. I’m talking about the government today. I’m talking about this authoritarian product which has resulted from 180-years of steady encroachment. I’m talking about the “nature” of a contemporary beast–one which wages campaigns against assembled citizens such as the Tea Party; one which plunders the piggy-bank of funds earmarked for certain programs to fund another; one which kowtows to conclaves of international bureaucrats such as the United Nations; one which tells us how to produce energy; one which tells us what kind of light bulbs we’re allowed to use; one which, well, you get the picture…the list of encroachments is a scroll of Dead Sea proportions.
To bring about radical and permanent change in any society, our primary focus must be on the conversion of minds through education.

Two weeks away from the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, presidential candidate and Texas Rep. Ron Paul says that U.S. intervention in the Middle East is a main motivation behind terrorist hostilities toward America, and that Islam is not a threat to the nation.
At a campaign stop on Saturday in Winterset, one man asked Paul how terrorist groups would react if the U.S. removed its military presence in Middle Eastern nations, a move the candidate advocates. “Which enemy are you worried that will attack our national security?” Paul asked. “If you’re looking for specifics, I’m talking about Islam. Radical Islam,” the man answered.
“I don’t see Islam as our enemy,” Paul said. “I see that motivation is occupation and those who hate us and would like to kill us, they are motivated by our invasion of their land, the support of their dictators that they hate.”
Regarding 9/11, Paul said that attacks against the U.S. from Middle Eastern groups at home and abroad can be traced to the foreign presence of U.S. troops, as well as America’s relationships with dictator regimes.
