Last week, in the wake of a Truth post from President Trump showing an obviously AI created rendering of Trump as a Jesuseque figure, liberals suddenly found religion and rushed to the nearest camera, microphone or social media platform to show their disgust over a man they hate connecting himself to a religion they find disgusting.
Remember Obama was in San Franfreakshow in April, 2008, talking about unemployment in Pennsylvania and the Midwest and said, “And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” That set the stage for the past two decades of liberal hatred of Christianity.
To be fair, liberals don’t really like the Jews any more then they like the Christians, but they really hate the Christians most likely because Jesus was Jewish.
The irony here is staggering. While the image President Trump posted and later removed from Truth Social may have seemed on the surface to have gone a bit too far…did it really? I mean, Jesus reportedly performed miracles on a semi-regular basis, and now President Trump has performed one of his own – getting liberals to trip all over themselves trying to defend the very creator of the religion they despise.
Again, to be fair, it wasn’t just liberals having a holy cow over the AI generated image, so too did plenty of people on the right side of the aisle…the “holier-than-thous” as I often call them. They were posturing their “principles” and acting outraged over the idea that Trump would dare to post such an image. Riley Gaines, who I genuinely admire, weighed in with, “Seriously, I cannot understand why he’d post this. God shall not be mocked.” That pretty well sums up the response from a good deal of the “holier-than-thou” crowd, but there are a couple of GLARING problems with that sentiment.
First, I don’t believe the AI image was “mocking” God…and second, that sentiment is but a stoning’s throw away from the response of radical Islam’s death cult response to any artistic depiction of the “prophet Muhammad.” I mean seriously, the “holier-than-thous” are at the height of their own hypocrisy when they purport to be more Christ-like than others and then get their panties wadded up over an AI generated image of President Trump doing God’s work. But perhaps the most bone crushingly stupid response came from the bloviating Behar on the View who bellowed, “Jesus didn’t run around saying he was the Messiah.”
Ummm…except he did.
While there is nothing to go on but the stories contained in the Bible, Jesus reportedly DID, according to the writings make that direct claim on four occasions.
The Samaritan Woman: In John 4:25-26, when she speaks of the coming Messiah, Jesus replies, “I who speak to you am he”.
The High Priest’s Trial: When asked, “Are you the Christ (Messiah), the Son of the Blessed?” Jesus replied, “I am” (Mark 14:61-62).
In Nazareth: After reading Isaiah, he declared, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing” (Luke 4:21).
Affirmation to Peter: When Peter declares, “You are the Christ,” Jesus affirms this, stating it was revealed by his Father (Matthew 16:16-17)
I’m not defending organized religion here, but I know BS when I hear it, and as it relates to the AI generated image President Trump posted a week ago, the BS is hitting the fan from both sides of the political aisle.
On to other idiocy…
Eric Swalwell.. Swalwell was the leading democrat gubernatorial candidate in the socialist republic of California and a sitting member of congress one day, and less than a week later, he was toast…out of the governor’s race, and out of congress, but not out of legal trouble. His troubles revolve around the Fang-Fang files…his sleeping with a Chinese spy, nannygate…his hiring of an illegal alien to nanny his spawn, questions that have swirled for years regarding the legitimacy of his California residency, the sexual harassment of his female interns and staff, mounting allegations of rape, and potential corruption.
Liberals are out there trying to own the moral high road claiming that as soon as they discovered Swalwell was a creep, they demanded he be tossed, trying to use it as a way to denounce those who support President Trump…BUT…they’re lying. Democrats have know that Swalwell was a pervert, a potential abuser of women, a potential rapist and so much more for the past 13 years, and they were perfectly happy to dismiss all of it as long as that California idiot was a useful idiot but as soon as their useful idiot became the village idiot, and a liability to the brand, the liberal elite’s swamp creatures nuked him.
Liberals are, of course, screaming “E. JEAN CARROLL” and “EPSTEIN FILES.” while President Trump was found guilty of “forcible touching” by a jury, which is now under appeal, let’s just be honest here – There is no direct proof that the woman’s story is true, no DNA, and no video. The jury relied heavily on testimony from two of E. Jean Carroll’s friends and a statement from a Bergdorf Goodman employee who said that the 6th floor dressings rooms, where the event allegedly occurred, “were often left unattended.” Furthermore, the cases were heard by a jury of most likely Mamdani and Harris voters so their judgment is highly suspect.
As for the Epstein files, Obama’s and daffy Joe Biden’s DOJ had full access to every page of the Epstein files, and found absolutely NOTHING beyond baseless allegations in the Epstein files regarding Trump, and Trump did, in fact, not only throw Epstein out of Mar a Lago…he called the cops ON Epstein.
While Trump continues to fight the E. Jean Carroll cases in court for the past 7 years, Eric Swalwell essentially jumped out of a plane at 10,000 feet, screaming, “I’M INNOCENT” all the way down and hit the ground like a 55 gallon drum of toxic waste just 7 days after the allegations against him went public.
You don’t fight it tooth and nail if you’re guilty, and you don’t bail like the guy who was doing the bang-bang with Fang-Fang if you’re innocent.
And finally…Zorhan Mamdani.
Last Wednesday, April 15th, New York’s crown prince of socialism was just giddy over a new plan to tax the wealthy right out of New York City. He’s cheering a new tax on those who have fled his sky-high taxes but kept their properties in the city as a way to pay for all the free crap he promised during his campaign. But there’s a bit of a problem…it’s not going to work out the way he claims it will. The wealthy who have already moved out can ether sell off their high-dollar properties and buy less expensive places to use as vacation homes, or they can just rent them out and avoid the tax hike entirely. But there is something else…Mamdani’s government owned grocery store.
Last week, Commie Mamdani announced he’s ready to build his very first soon to fail government operated grocery in Manhattan. It’s proposed to cost NYC taxpayers $30 MILLION bucks to build, and it won’t be ready to open its doors until 2029. It’s apparently going to be the Taj Mahal of expired milk, stale bread and empty shelves.
“When it comes to the products that we will be selling at the city-run grocery stores, there will be an essential basket of goods that will be guaranteed a cheaper price, and cheaper than what they’re being sold at currently.” That basket of BS will, according to the socialist, be at a “fixed price,” but he admits that they “may not always be able to achieve the perpetual discount” on other items.
There are more red flags here that you would see in a Chinese military parade. Here are just a few.
Who decides what’s in the “essential basket?” Not the customer. The GOVERNMENT decides what’s essential.
The Essential basket supposedly includes, milk, bread and eggs…which is fine unless you’re a lactose intolerant vegan with a gluten allergy.
Who will staff the stores and who pays their wages? Well, the minimum wage in NYC is currently $17.00/hr and if fair market prices aren’t enough to pay those wages, it will be up to the taxpayers who will no doubt see taxes going up to pay for their cut-rate groceries.
What’s the process for building this monument to socialism? Under the model announced last week, the city takes on the capital burden—buying the land and absorbing construction and rent costs — while a private operator, selected through a competitive procurement process, runs the store itself. The city will create a task force, issue procurement this summer, and require the operator to pass savings through to shoppers on a core basket of staples. More taxpayer dollars being spent right down the line requiring more tax hikes to cover the costs.
And who will be shopping there? Okay, this $30 million monument to socialist stupidity is set to be built in East Harlem. 40% of East Harlem households depend on SNAP benefits and several thousand public housing residents live within walking distance of the site so that means that the hard working NYC taxpayers NOT sucking off the government teet will not only be paying for the store, the employees of the store, the oversight of the store and the means by which those living within walking distance purchase the government allotment of essential food…those same taxpayers are also on the hook for the abodes in which the teet suckers will be gathered for their meals.
By the way…according to the Food Industry Association, the average net profit margin for food retailers in 2024 was just 1.7% and that’s mighty thin, but if the Marxist Market fails to cover the margin…guess who gets to make up the difference?
If you live in NYC you might want to add Vasoline to YOUR list of “essentials” because Mamdani is about to do to you what Swalwell did to Fang-Fang and a growing list of other women.
Yep, it’s been an astonishing week of absurdity and I’m sure there’s plenty more to come.
