Within the next couple of weeks, the DOJ will release the Epstein Files. It’s time to lay in a supply of popcorn and settle in for the show.
Last week, the House voted 427-1 to release the files, and the Senate vote was unanimous. While liberals claimed that Trump would likely block said release, he didn’t, and signed the order straight away. That set into motion a 30 day window in which the Department of Justice must finish their end of the deal and release what they’ve got to the public.
It’s a bit of a conundrum for liberals. They’ve been clamoring for this for the past year, but to be honest, I don’t really think they wanted the Epstein files released at all. I base this supposition on the fact that when their party controlled congress, there was no move to produce such a release, and clearly, when Biden was stumbling and bumbling through the autopen years, he made absolutely no effort to have the Epstein files set free.
There are reasons for that, and those reasons are fast becoming pretty obvious.
Elected liberals, the liberal media ilk and garden variety liberals far and wide have been trafficking in conspiracy theories, driven by Trump Derangement Syndrome, claiming that Trump was an Epstein connected pedophile, and that releasing the files would not only prove their claims, but lead to the ouster of President Trump…but there has always been glaring problems with those conspiracy theories.
Let’s just be honest here…President Trump is THE most investigated President in U.S. history. He was investigated for colluding with the Russians. He was investigated for quid pro quo with Ukraine. He was investigated for mortgage fraud. He was investigated for holding supposedly classified documents. He was investigating for trying to overturn the 2020 election. He was investigated for falsifying business records. He was investigated for tax fraud. He was investigated for this, that and the other thing. To be fair, President Trump has undergone what amounts to one legal colonoscopy after another for at least the past 10 years, and all of it in an effort to either prevent him from becoming the President, or in the effort to remove him from office.
Here is one glaring problem for liberals…after all those investigations over the past 10 years, all that liberals have managed to uncover is their own crimes.
Another glaring issue is that elected liberals have had the exact same access to the Epstein files as have the Republicans, and if there really was anything in those files that would destroy President Trump…why, especially when they controlled the possibility of releasing those files did they not do so?
And here’s a glaring issue that isn’t getting much ink, but I believe it is important…if Trump was anywhere near as involved with Epstein as the liberal’s conspiracy theories claim, why did Trump famously throw Epstein out of the Mar-a-Lago Club in 2007, why didn’t Trump pardon Epstein and why did Trump’s DOJ arrest Epstein on federal charges in 2019?
To fully understand the complexity of this third set of glaring issues, you need to have an understanding of the timeline involved. When Donald Trump tossed Jeffery Epstein out of the Mar-a-Lago Club, it was 2007. That was 8 years BEFORE Donald Trump became candidate Trump. Trump had absolutely NO political career in 2007 so it could not have possibly been a political move to toss the creep, Epstein, out of his Club Membership. Next, on June 30th, 2008, Jeffery Epstein pled guilty to state charges of solicitation of prostitution, and solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18 in Florida.
In a rather odd plea deal, which became known as the “deal of the century.” Epstein avoided a potentially lengthy federal prison sentence on a 60-count federal indictment, and included a non-prosecution agreement that secretly protected Epstein and several named co-conspirators from future federal charges related to the joint investigation at that time. The secrecy of this federal non-prosecution agreement violated the Crime Victims’ Rights Act, as victims were not informed of the deal.
While many of the terms of “the deal of the century” were actually illegal, the deal stood, but even so, it was a stain on Epstein anyway. So, if Trump was an Epstein-connected pedophile, as liberals have been so fond of claiming, and Epstein would certainly have known the dirty secrets…why didn’t Trump issue a pardon to Epstein during the first term to keep Epstein quiet? Furthermore, wouldn’t it follow logically that if President Trump had anything to hide regarding Epstein, he would have never allowed his DOJ to arrest Epstein on federal charges in 2019 given that by then, Epstein hated Trump and any dirt Epstein HAD on Trump he would have used AGAINST Trump?
Sure, there are, and will be liberals who will try to allege that Trump had Epstein killed in prison to keep Epstein from singing like a bird, but there is also a glaring problem with that. Before Epstein didn’t kill himself, Jeffrey Epstein’s attorney, David Schoen, specifically asked his jailed client if he had any “dirt” on Donald Trump, and Epstein told Schoen, by Schoen’s own admission, that he had no dirt on Trump.
Now then, for liberals who will no doubt say I’m making this up…here’s David Schoen in his own words…
If that’s not enough, here is Professor, and esteemed Attorney Alan Dershowitz who also had first hand knowledge of the “no dirt on Trump” comments from Jeffery Epstein.
So, it seems pretty clear that the Epstein files contain no damning evidence against President Trump, and it completely defies comprehension that if such evidence or dirt on President Trump ever existed, it wouldn’t have been used long before now. That said, before I get into what we can expect when the files are released within a couple of weeks, I would be remiss not to mention what we’ve seen over the past week.
As soon as it became clear that that the government shutdown was over and both the House and Senate were voting to do just that, suddenly the liberals released an excerpt of a Jeffery Epstein email they hoped would draw attention away from what they knew those files contained in an attempt to smear President Trump. That email excerpt said that Trump had spent hours with “victim,” (name redacted by the liberals) insinuating that Trump had had a nefarious fling with one of Epstein’s under-aged girls.
Oops…they forgot that the Republicans had already seen the unredacted version and the “victim” was actually Virginia Giuffre, who had testified UNDER OATH that she never saw Trump do anything wrong AND that in the time she spent talking to him, he was a PERFECT GENTLEMAN.
A day or so after voting to release the files, liberal buffoon, Jasmine Crockett tried to release a document claiming that “somebody named Jeffrey Epstein” had donated to the campaign of the former New York Republican congressman Lee Zeldin, who is now director of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Oops…the Jeffery Epstein that provided a campaign donation to Lee Zeldin turns out to be a Long Island neurosurgeon, not the Jeffery Epstein of the Epstein files. Naturally, Crockett tried to cover her ass by claiming she didn’t really try to do what she really tried to do, and that it was somebody else’s fault. It starts at the 3:51 mark.
Now I will grant Crockett this much, photos are not provided with campaign donation records…but do you know what IS provided? The occupation of the donor, and the date of the donation. The occupation of the donor in this case was, “Neurosurgeon,” and the date of the donation was AFTER the Jeffery Epstein of the Epstein files was DEAD.
We found out that Hakeem Jefferies’ campaign solicited donations from THE Epstein in question even AFTER his arrest, and that congresswoman Stacey Plaskett, a liberal, was engaged in a text conversation with the notorious Epstein during a congressional hearing trying to get dirt, and we learned that at least 89% of all political donations made by the notorious Epstein were made to democrats.
The list of conspiracy theories that nut-cases and fools promote is long indeed. From a flat Earth, to no landing on the moon…from who really shot JFK to 9/11 being an inside job. There are conspiracy theories regarding the Lincoln assassination, the Titanic, the Hindenburg and so many others that it would take volumes to compile them all.
Add Epstein to the long, LONG list and RELEASE THE CONSPIRACY KRAKEN!!!
When the files are released within a couple of weeks, there will be redactions which will fuel conspiracies. There will not be a list, because there is not a list and that will give birth to conspiracy theories. There will be names that will give rise to conspiracies, and there will be names that never appear and both will lead to more conspiracy theories.
There will be denials. There will be apologies. There will be accusations, allegations, admittals and lawsuits.
There will be both republicans and democrats implicated outright or via innuendo.
There will be finger pointing and ass covering, resignations, firings and plenty of spinning.
Yes, President Trump’s name does appear in the documents BUT, analyses of the files by multiple news organizations and officials have found no evidence of criminal activity or an association with Epstein’s sex trafficking ring by Donald Trump. As to why his name is there at all, birds of a certain financial feather tend to flock together in posh social gatherings, but Trump ended his social relationship with Epstein as stated earlier in this commentary.
While there could well be people whose careers are ended by the release of the Epstein files, there will be a whole new cottage industry, generally consisting of adults living in their parent’s basements, who will claim to have the REAL story, the REAL dirt and to have seen the REAL Epstein files and they will take to social media to supposedly provide the REAL evidence which may, or may not be AI generated, or photo-shopped but one thing will be clear…they will be full of crap and fishing for “likes” from fellow conspiracy loons.
Let the games begin.
