Obama, the Emperor, Has No Clothes

None of this should come as any surprise. None of it. The National Patriot has all but predicted it, and now it’s coming to pass.

The Obama doctrine is coming home to roost in the most dangerous part of the world and the result will be an even more dangerous world.

Last week, I posed the question, “What’s next for Libya?”

In that article, I pointed out how the vacuum had been created with the ouster of Gaddafi and how the Muslim Brotherhood was standing in the wings.

Yesterday, as the Libyan National Transitional Council declared liberation following the killing of Gadaffi, they went exactly where I knew they would go.

That council has made it crystal clear that Sharia Law will be the basis of their new government which ensures that their people, the Libyans who fought for their freedom from a brutal dictator of 42 years, will now see it replaced by an even more brutal regime.

Libya Celebrates…Has No Idea What’s Coming

It’s a question we seem to be asking more and more often. What’s next? This time we ask it of Libya. What’s next for Libya? With Kaddafi dead, one of his sons dead as well and another son’s whereabouts unknown…What’s next?

After 42 years of brutal rule, Kaddafi met a brutal end last week at the hands of Libyan Rebels in his hometown of Sirte.

Kadaffi, from what we know, was making a run for it in a convoy of some 75 vehicles when on the outskirts of town, a French Fighter jet and an American drone opened fire. Neither the French nor we knew Kadaffi was in that convoy and while many vehicles and those inside them were destroyed, Kaddafi’s vehicle was not.

With rebels in hot pursuit, Kaddafi bailed out and ran on foot diving in to a culvert, a sewer pipe with a loyalist. That’s where the rebels found him. From reports, the loyalist was yelling, apparently thinking those who were approaching were fellow loyalists, “The Master is here!” That is apparently when a rebel fighter fired into the pipe wounding Kaddafi then dragged him out while Kaddafi, who have vowed to fight to the last drop of blood started begging not to be killed.

That rebel fighter, wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap, disarmed the dictator of his golden gun and what happened over the next several minutes is somewhat unclear. There was shouting, chanting, gunfire, and Kaddafi, still alive for the moment, was paraded, pushed, shoved, beaten with shoes, hair pulled and roughed up from one vehicle to another, his shirt soaked in blood. Moments later, Kaddafi was dead of a gunshot to the head.

KEYNESIAN V AUSTRIAN

Our current economic malaise was forecast and has been explained by only one “school” of economic theory: the Austrian.

One other “mainstream” school–the Keynesian Model–continues to fumble around with empirical data in a quest to venture conjecture constantly refuted by that pesky little thing called “history.” The Keynesians, each to each, may vary in their opinions on government size and the amount of monetary inflation; however, they are lock-stepping, hand-in-hand, on a quest for that ever elusive mathematical model. It’s a thought experiment confined in a hermetically-sealed “statist” box. They’ve abandoned their logic for faith in bizarre assumptions.

Austrian Economic Theory was founded on an understanding that the human ability to act combined with the natural desire to survive leads to a purposeful action. Humans act with purpose! Meddling in the affairs of folks acting towards a purpose only gums-up the purpose and the very folks trying to act on it. Interlopers butting in between other people who have agreed to cooperate for their mutual benefit are obstructionists at best and deal killers at worse. There may be compromises as individuals adapt to the force of those interventions allowing for diminished satisfaction, but the end results are inevitably spoiled. The Keynesian Cultists see humans as guinea pigs to be experimented on.

Obama’s Weekend at Bernie’s

Weekend at Bernie’s was a GREAT movie and one of the funniest premises ever. The original made a ton of money and like ANY Hollywood flick that makes money…it got a sequel.

Weekend at Bernie’s 2 was okay but not great and it didn’t make anywhere near what the original made.

Now…we have Weekend at Bernie’s 3 and this one stars…Obama!

In the threequel…We find Obama hauling around a dead jobs bill trying to convince voters that it’s still alive and well. Obama is cruising the states in his Canadian bus touting the bill which met its grisly end in the Senate last week.

Instead of the American Jobs Act, let’s call it the Bernie Lomax Bill.

Today, in North Carolina, Obama was seen trying to prop the cadaver up and waving its arms about on a campaign stop in the state. Later today, he’ll be buying the cadaver drinks in Virginia.

Here’s the thing, like the viewers of the movie, conservatives know it’s a cadaver….Obama knows it’s a cadaver, liberals know it’s a cadaver…but the liberals and Obama are trying to make voters believe it can still fog a mirror.

Shadow Patriot’s Rant and No Apology For It

The US does NOT apologize…  I just read an article about how Japan refused an apology from Mr. Obama  (I refuse to disrespect the office of the President by using the title on such as him).

When is our apologizer in chief going to get a clue?  We DON’T APOLOGIZE.  Not that we don’t acknowledge when we do wrong.  I have seen firsthand how even our military does the right thing when we get it wrong.  I have witnessed many military operations and there have been some where we have (RARELY) actioned against the wrong house in search of terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Once the team discovers they have the wrong house, they apologize through the translator and pay the owner for the damage as well as the hassle we caused.  You know why?  It is fair.

Did the US apologize to Libya when Reagan ordered the bombing?  NO.  You want to know why?  Qaddhafi (or however you spell his damned name) SPONSORED terrorism.  We got sick and tired of him doing his thing, and we slapped him back.  Yeah, I know, we nearly bombed the French Embassy, but the fools should have allowed us overflight.  At any rate, that event put Kaddhafi (there is that damned name again) on notice.  He only started playing ball with us when he was caught with his pants down twice importing duel use equipment (stuff used for both civilian and nuclear weapons programs), violating US trade embargoes.  For a few decades, things were OK.  Then he lost his mind at some point.  You know how I know that?  He very nearly caused an aneurism in one of his translators during a rambling address to the UN in New York on 23 September, 2009.  Hope you have your pillows, it is about 100 minutes long.

Obamacare is now “CLASSless”

Obama’ quietly has struck a part of his own Obamacare bill because, guess what, it’s unsustainable and now tha plug has been pulled on the “CLASS Act,” Community Living Assistance Service and Supports, part of Obamacare.

CLASS was the part of Obamacare most heavily championed by Ted Kennedy and also heavily backed by AARP and was supposed to have provided ongoing long term care and was meant to keep the elderly out of long term care facilities. It would have cost workers a ton and would have burdened private insurance companies and ultimately, the American taxpayers.

Average premiums would have run from around $200.00 to nearly $400.00 but could have, in some cases, run as high as $3000.00. Low income individuals would have only been charged $5.00 per month for the coverage but here was the giant problem…According to the CBO…the annual payout for those $5.00/month contributors would have been around $27,000.00.

Workers would have had $2,800.00/year automatically taken by the government for this program and would have had no choice but to enroll in it.

CLASS would have relied on the healthy young workers to cover the elderly for long term care outside of facilities.

Socialism always works until you run out of other people’s money.

Iranian Terror Plot and More Exposed

Today, it became known that an arrest had been made in September regarding a triple threat plot to bomb the Israeli and Saudi embassies in Washington D.C. as well as to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to the United States.

This plot, from reports, had the backing of the Iranians. The two men named in this plot are Manssor Arbabsiar and Gholam Shakuri. Arbabsiar is currently under arrest and has been since late September while Shakuri remains at large and is suspected to be in Iran. Shakuri is part of the Qods Force, a special operations unit of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard and according to reports, the one who signed off on a $100,000.00 down payment on the hit against the Saudi Ambassador.

First, these men were being watched, closely, as this plot unfolded and the contacts for this hit was made between Arbabsiar and an undercover DEA “source” in Mexico who was posing as a high level Member of a drug cartel. These contacts were made last spring. The arrest was made on September 29th.

Immediately, there are a couple of things that jump out in all of this.

Occupy Wall Street’s Disgusting “Movement”

The “Occupy Wall Street” protesters have been getting quite a bit of press and support from liberal media lately. We at The National Patriot thought you should see a couple of photos and read just some of the words of support being offered to these protesters. Many have seen the image of the protester relieving himself on a police car but, I suspect, not many have seen THIS. Not yet anyway.

What we have at left is a  protester having a “movement” on a burning United States flag while those around him cheer and laugh.  This photo was made in Portland OR 4 years ago but given what we’ve seen from the “Occupy” protesters, this is not out of context and adds consistency to the liberal/socialist mindset.

Do this disgusting individual’s action represent the specific action of every “Occupy” protester? No, but it does, I believe, represent the mob mentality of the vast majority of them which makes me question why those who support them do so.

Do these protesters have the right to free expression? Yes, and WE have the right to respond to it!

A Fast and Furious Suspension of Reality

“Attorney General Holder and I are taking several new and aggressive steps as part of the administration’s comprehensive plan. Those steps include the following: DOJ’s Drug Enforcement Administration, which already has the largest U.S. drug enforcement presence in Mexico with 11 offices in that country, is placing 16 new DEA positions in southwest border field positions .., uh, field operations, specifically to target Mexican trafficking and associated violence.”

“The DEA is also deploying four new mobile enforcement teams to specifically target Mexican methamphetamine trafficking both along the border and in U.S. cities impacted by the cartels.”

“DOJ’s bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is increasing its efforts by adding 37 new employees and three new offices, using $10 million in Recovery Act funds and redeploying 100 personnel to the southwest border in the next 45 days to fortify its Project Gunrunner, which is aimed at disrupting arms trafficking between the United States and Mexico,”

“Occupy Wall Street” is a SOCIALIST Dress Rehearsal!!

If you have, as I do, liberal friends either in person or through social media, no doubt you, as have I, been on the receiving end of dismissive and at times, curse-laden retorts when you truthfully refer to their party as socialists.

Glenn Beck, for years, has been on the receiving end of such vitriol every time he brings up Cloward and Piven or Saul Alinsky.

I’m about to link it all together for you in one neat and tidy little package.
