Jesse Jackson Jr. Trys to Mask Socialist Agenda!!

Leave it to liberals to attempt yet another trial balloon aimed at bringing socialism to our nation. It was just a couple of weeks ago that the liberal North Carolina Governor floated the idea of suspending congressional elections for a couple of years.

That was met with great disdain by Patriots and she then tried to back away from her statement by claiming it to be hyperbole and sarcasm.

Now, Jesse Jackson Jr. the congressman from Illinois, has floated ANOTHER lame liberal trial balloon.

J.J. Jr. says that the GOVERNMENT should HIRE all 15 million unemployed workers at a cost of $600 BILLION dollars!!

According to J.J. Jr., “It could be a five-year program. For another $104 billion, we bail out all of the states. For another $100 billion, we bail out all of the cities.”

Now he’s up to $804 BILLION.

Oh…But WAIT…There’s MORE!!!…

Details of Subpoena…Clock Ticking on Holder

Eric Holder has some explaining to do. LOTS of explaining. He’s been served and the time for stonewalling and delay tactics is over. The music is playing and Eric Holder has to face it.

The House Oversight Committee, as promised by Congressman Issa, has subpoenaed Eric Holder in the Fast and Furious case after a letter from Holder failed to impress. This investigation has been ongoing for nearly 8 months and tactically delayed throughout by Holder and the DOJ.

Considering the vast amount of information demanded by the Oversight Committee in the subpoena and who they have demanded it from, it’s a fair bet to say this investigation will reach not only into the actions of the DOJ and Eric Holder but all the way to the White House.

Occupy Wall Street’s Disgusting “Movement”

The “Occupy Wall Street” protesters have been getting quite a bit of press and support from liberal media lately. We at The National Patriot thought you should see a couple of photos and read just some of the words of support being offered to these protesters. Many have seen the image of the protester relieving himself on a police car but, I suspect, not many have seen THIS. Not yet anyway.

What we have at left is a  protester having a “movement” on a burning United States flag while those around him cheer and laugh.  This photo was made in Portland OR 4 years ago but given what we’ve seen from the “Occupy” protesters, this is not out of context and adds consistency to the liberal/socialist mindset.

Do this disgusting individual’s action represent the specific action of every “Occupy” protester? No, but it does, I believe, represent the mob mentality of the vast majority of them which makes me question why those who support them do so.

Do these protesters have the right to free expression? Yes, and WE have the right to respond to it!

Below are just some of the quotes of those who support such protesters and their movement.

Where government was supposed to occur

Ok, this is just a short entry.  Just enough to get some thoughts going, hopefully.

Our forefathers were brilliant.  They didn’t always get along, but they were brilliant.  They didn’t always get it right, but they saw that the articles of Confederation were too weak to be effective, and created the Constitution.  They knew that wasn’t perfect, but created a way to amend the Constitution.  In that regard, it can be seen as a living document, meaning having a means of change to adapt to what society wants over time.  It is NOT a living document in the sense that it can be reinterpreted over time and twisted to fit whatever agenda is being pursued without going through the appropriate formal amendment process.

Our forefathers knew that true government does NOT start at the top and filter down.  It was meant to be a local level event.  All the hammering out of legislation, true management, was to occur at the local level.  I am talking city level.  Concerns that could not be worked out were brought to the county level.  If those concerns could not be addressed at the county level, they were brought to the state level.  If the state could not work it out, they were brought to the national level.  The whole idea was to work things out at a local level, leaving the national government to work on things of national importance.  Those things were the items listed in Article 1, Section 8.

A Fast and Furious Suspension of Reality

“Attorney General Holder and I are taking several new and aggressive steps as part of the administration’s comprehensive plan. Those steps include the following: DOJ’s Drug Enforcement Administration, which already has the largest U.S. drug enforcement presence in Mexico with 11 offices in that country, is placing 16 new DEA positions in southwest border field positions .., uh, field operations, specifically to target Mexican trafficking and associated violence.”

“The DEA is also deploying four new mobile enforcement teams to specifically target Mexican methamphetamine trafficking both along the border and in U.S. cities impacted by the cartels.”

“DOJ’s bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is increasing its efforts by adding 37 new employees and three new offices, using $10 million in Recovery Act funds and redeploying 100 personnel to the southwest border in the next 45 days to fortify its Project Gunrunner, which is aimed at disrupting arms trafficking between the United States and Mexico,”
The words above were spoken, in the White House briefing from, to reporters, by David Ogden, Deputy Attorney General on March 24th 2009.

Fast & Felonious…The Slippery Slope of “Tolerance” and Apathy

The “Fast and Felonious” gun walking scandal is growing deeper by the day. Eric Holder is in trouble. Lots of trouble – and the GOP sent a letter to Obama demanding a Special Counsel to look into the matter.

It’s not going to end there. It’s not going to end with Holder and the DOJ-  and for that matter, I don’t think it going to end with just the “Fast and Felonious” scandal either.

This was a multi level, multi departmental death trap. Right now, it’s the DOJ in the hot seat but, as we all know, the ATF was in on it and so was the DHS and, I suspect, it goes farther still. ICE probably wasn’t untouched by it either.

Ask yourself this question.

How could an operation involving the ATF, the DOJ and the Department of Homeland Security escape the notice, or…The INVOLVEMENT by way of signing off on it, of the President? HOW?

Quitters Never Win…Winners Will Stay Involved

Across social media, from Facebook to Twitter and many other venues, I have seen some very disturbing posts, comments, tweets and sentiments over the last two days. To say I am disappointed in what I am seeing and hearing is an understatement.

Within two days, both Chris Christie and Sarah Palin have made it official that neither will be running in 2012. No ifs, ands or buts – they are not going to run.

They did NOT quit as they WILL be more involved than ever before! It’s being INVOLVED that counts!!

After each announcement, from their respective supporters, the fallout was immediate.

These two potential candidates were light years apart within the republican party, and it’s safe to say they didn’t share many supporters which makes the whole of the sum even more disturbing.

UPDATE: Congressman Calls for Special Council in Holder Probe!!

A good deal has happened with this whole Eric Holder possible perjury situation since The National Patriot published our original article, “Holder, at the Bottom of a Deep Hole, Keeps Digging” and as such, the saga deserves a breaking update.

Just hours after publication this morning, Republican Congressman Lamar Smith sent a letter to Obama instructing the DOJ to appoint a special council in the case to get to the bottom of Holder’s possible perjury stemming from his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on May 3rd, 2011.

You can read that letter by clicking here.

For a case in which a special council is called for, that council does not report back to the Attorney General but, under the current law, it is the Attorney General, in this case, Eric Holder, who appoints that council. This is why Rep. Smith has asked Obama to do so since Holder is the subject of the investigation.

Here’s one question which needs to be asked:

Just who DOES the special council report to?

Holder, At the Bottom of a Deep Hole, Keeps Digging

In May of this year, Eric Holder testified before a Congressional committee that he first heard about operation Fast and Furious just a few weeks previous to his testimony. At first he said he wasn’t sure when he heard about it then, upon being pressed told the committee it was just a few weeks ago.

Eric Holder lied.

Documents and emails now show that Holder was aware of the operation which allowed weapons from the U.S. to “walk” into the hands of Mexican drug cartels 10 months before his testimony.

Holder’s exact quote, when pressed was that he had “probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.”

In fact, a memo from the Director of the National Drug Intelligence Center, Michael Walther, informed Holder that straw buyers in Operation Fast and Furious “are responsible for the purchase of 1,500 firearms that were then supplied to the Mexican drug trafficking cartels.”

Did Killing Awlaki Cross a Constitutional Line?

In light of the killing of Awlaki in Yemen yesterday, an American citizen, there are some who are pointing to the Constitution’s 5th Amendment and crying foul. Certainly this must be considered and to do so, we must first look AT that amendment.

“No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived  of life, liberty, or property, without due  process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”
