Overhyping the Underwhelming

Outside of impeachment, of which I think the inhabitants of entire planet is growing tired, not to mention the inhabitants of all other planets in the known universe, there have been two other stories in the news that have captivated the headlines.

Now before I get into those other stories, allow me to quickly clear something up for skeptics, there are inhabitants on other planets scattered about the known universe, there must be or otherwise, why would there be a Miss Universe pageant every year?

Sure, Earth wins it every year, but that’s not really our fault. For those who insist that we are alone in the universe, I would challenge you to start your own, Miss Holier-Than-Thou pageant where the entries are as limited as your minds.

Okay, that said, allow me to get into the nuts and bolts of the only stories outside of impeachment that everyone seems to care about, and frankly, few should.

Why Lie About Blind Octopi?

Well, the global warming, climate change loons are at it again.

Lately, we’ve all been regaled with predictions of doom and gloom form weather weenies like AOC, who told us a while back that civilization would end in 12 years if we don’t do something about climate change now, and by something, she meant that we need to do away with cars, boats, trains and airplanes immediately.

That would make it virtually impossible for any such given loon to make it to wherever the next climate change conference is to be held, but that’s quite beside the point I suppose.

Then it was Beto O’Dork who shaved 2 years off the AOC prediction and told us all that we only have 10 years left before civilization comes to an end if something isn’t done regarding the weather at taxpayer expense.

Supreme Court Justice, Anthony Kennedy, is set to retire at the end of July, and liberals are tying themselves into knots at…not the prospect, but the reality…that President Trump will appoint yet another Justice to the nation’s highest court.

Liberals, already desperately searching for even one core value on which to take a stand, on which to build a platform for the 2018 midterm elections as well as for 2020 are now facing the nightmare of all liberal nightmares.

So, what is really at stake for both parties due to the looming Supreme Court nomination, and the resulting firestorm of a confirmation process?

THE SEQUESTER IS COMING – RUN FOR YOUR LIVES

We are just a few days away from the end of the world as Obama knows it.

Sequestration is like giving the government growth machine a vasectomy…NOT a full castration.

To be quite honest, I was far more scared of the end of the Mayan calendar than I am of sequestration and for good reason.

What we’re talking about here is NOT the massive cuts and mayhem projected by the Dictator but a 2% slowing of the GROWTH of government this fiscal year or…roughly over the next 6 months.

That’s 2% of a projected $1.3 TRILLION DOLLAR SPENDING SPREE which means, at the end of this fiscal year, our big government spenders will STILL have spent more THIS year than last year.

This is, naturally, the truth the Dictator would rather you NOT know.

HE, and his faithless minions would much rather have you TERRIFIED of what will happen after this Friday’s deadline and he’s going to do everything he can to send you that message.

Sequester is NOT the doom and gloom, mass extermination event this Dictator is wailing and gnashing his teeth over and if your IQ is anywhere near double digits, it should cause you no alarm.
