The Inescapable Legacy of Democrat Racism

Let me begin with this perfectly valid fact…nobody alive today in America was ever a slave in America, and nobody alive in America today was ever an American slave owner. Those are inescapable facts.

Also inescapable as fact is that nobody alive in America today had parents who were either slaves in America nor were they slave owners in America and it would be hard, if not impossible to find anybody alive in America today whose grandparents were either slaves in America or American slave owners.

Slavery in America was abolished in 1865…better than 150 years ago…another inescapable fact.

If one really wants to look at the facts surrounding slavery in America, or for that matter…racism in America and be both honest and factual about them…there is yet another inescapable fact with which many in America today must come to grips…

Politics on Christmas? Yes…and for a VERY Good Reason

If there is such a thing as divine providence, clearly it played a most important part in the events surrounding the founding of this nation.

For those who wish to separate Christmas from the politics of the day, I am with you but, one must realize that without connecting the two, we may well not have a nation at all.

When one thinks of Christmas, the true and first Christmas, one thinks of tiny Bethlehem. That’s where it started. Bethlehem.

So too, perhaps via divine providence, is Bethlehem a key to our nation’s birth.

Thanksgiving…Without the Gravy

Oh boy…Thanksgiving…according to most liberals, the most politically incorrect holiday between Columbus Day and Christmas.

The first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621 at Plymouth Colony by the Pilgrims…that much pretty much everybody knows, but there’s a lot about that first celebration that nobody knows because only two accounts of it were ever written down.

Therefore, it falls to me to provide a bit of a history lesson which I am more than happy to undertake, so let’s get started with what little we actually know about that very first Thanksgiving…

A Trifecta of Nuts in the News

Well, it’s been quite a week.

Imagine if you will, losing the Super Bowl on a Sunday, and then, come Tuesday…magically finding more points than what you actually scored during the big game.

That, essentially, is exactly what liberals are doing in both Florida and in Arizona. They failed to garner enough votes last Tuesday to control the majority in the Senate, and then…magically…last Thursday and Friday…they started “finding” more votes.

I’ll get back to that in a bit, but there was other big news last week…

“Independence Forever!”

On July 4th, we celebrate our nation’s birth and this year, 2018, it will be the 242nd time we have done so but that date, while by no means suspect, should be seen in context. One of our founders thought the celebration would occur on a different date and he, in no uncertain terms, put it in writing using the social media of the day.

The date was July 1st, 1776 when John Adams,a prolific letter writer and a visionary founder of our nation penned a letter to his wife Abigail. Adams, in which he made what at the time was a series of bold predictions.

“The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.”

Adams missed the mark by 2 days, believing that the day the document was presented to the Continental Congress, not the day it would be adopted, would be the celebratory day, but this excerpt from a simple letter offers much more, I believe, than a 48 hour premature pronouncement of celebration.

The Evolution of Monumental Idiocy

It’s no secret that liberals are really socialists, and that some actually have crossed over to being full-on communists. We all know that.

It’s also no secret that the overwhelming vast majority of all liberals, be they garden variety, socialists or communists, are also idiots.

Nobody with a working brain cell is going to argue with that assessment.

Liberals will argue that assessment, but that pretty well proves my point, doesn’t it?

The problem is that abject idiots have completely taken over the democrat party, our education system, the bulk of the mainstream media, and in some cases, elements of our judicial system. In fact, abject liberal idiots are now mentoring future idiots, indoctrinating them in the ways of idiocy, and raising idiotic behavior to an art form.

Politics and The First Christmas

chr 1It is difficult to escape the political undertow in today’s world. Politics is in play in everything we do, from our daily routines to events half way around the world. Our schools, our streets and roads…regulations imposed on everything from our businesses to the water we drink…wars, conflicts, diplomatic relations with nations both friend and foe…we can’t get up in the morning, proceed with our daily business or go to bed at night without political interference.

This time of the year, we do our best to ignore, to whatever extent possible, the world of politics in favor of time-honored traditions that revolve around Christmas or Chanukah, but we should not forget the role of politics IN Christmas…the first Christmas to be precise.

Just as the death of Jesus on the cross was politically motivated, so too was the story of his birth.

While the scriptures reveal that Joseph and Mary traveled to Bethlehem to pay their taxes, the truth goes politically deeper than that.

Trump: The End of the Deal

Last Friday, after listing all of Iran’s past and present nasty deeds and nuclear deal violations…our president under the guise of the ‘Congressional Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act’ rightfully decided not to ‘recertify’ Obama’s ‘very bad’ nuclear deal…a deal subject to recertification every 90 days.

A campaign promise kept and thank you Mr. President for doing so.

Hypocrisy For the Left of Us…Condemnation For the Rest of Us

The real shame of racism in the U.S. is that racists are controlling the national dialogue, while non-racists are allowing it to be that way. To discover just how true that statement is, and why it’s true, one first must identify just who the real racists are.

Historically speaking, the real racists in America have enjoyed a singular political party affiliation…to the democrat party.

Democrats fought for slavery. Democrats founded the Ku Klux Klan. Democrats developed Jim Crow laws. Democrats stood for segregation. Democrats initially blocked the Civil Rights Act and democrats invented Affirmative action….the process of separating blacks and people of color from the rest of the nation for the business of protecting and advancing people based solely on race, regardless of their abilities as individuals.

Those are all historical facts, but today’s democrats, today’s liberals, are no less racist than their historical political party predecessors.

Weed Weasels, Statues and the Truth

So…today it’s statues that are being removed. Statues of Confederates to be precise, and why? Because some people claim to be offended by them.

It’s a conundrum really.

The terminally offended, which one can most usually find in the deep weeds of their natural habitat…on the left side of the political aisle…say that those statues, of Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis and the like just have to go. They must be removed because they are tangible reminders of the era of slavery.

Really?

Reminders of slavery? So, if those statues are removed…what? History is scrubbed clean of the stain of slavery?

It doesn’t work that way.
