Friday Fume

Oh boy…Where do I even begin with this week’s list of liberal lunacy???

Nancy Pelosi actually said of Obamacare…“All of the implementation has gone very well.”

I’M SURE SHE ALSO BELIEVES THE PRODUCTION OF “OUR AMERICAN COUSIN” AT FORD’S THEATER ON APRIL 14TH, 1865 WENT…SWIMMINGLY!!!

Then…the crusty old moonbat TWEETED…”FACT: Despite website glitches ≈ 1m have applied and are eligible to #getcovered on #ACA marketplaces. 500,000 have already secured coverage”

Ummm She issued that AFTER Sebelius ADMITTED that ONLY 106,000 had…”SELECTED” coverage but, SHE ALSO REFUSED to say how many had ACTUALLY PAID for it.

Obviously, Pelosi is using the same tabulation system liberals used to count the votes in 2012.

AND…

Over in Moscow…Pyotr Pavlensky decided to protest the Kremlin’s crackdown on human rights by…STRIPING NAKED…SITTING ON THE RED SQUARE BRICKS AND…NAILING HIS NARDS TO THE STREET!!!

Ummmm…

First…Just let me say…

YEEEEEEEOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay…Now then…

It’s not at all unlike the way OBAMA protested CAPITALISM by STAPLING his to a 2700 PAGE SOCIALIST HEALTHCARE MANIFESTO!!!

At least the BOLSHOI stands to get a new SOPRANO out of the deal.

Anyway…It’s been quite the week but, here we are…On Friday and…

Meet the REAL Extortionists

Liberals and socialists have a habit of ignoring the real situations that plague them and an overwhelming desire to blame others for their own shortfalls.

There are 2 very telling quotes that provide a basis for this article.

First…

Margaret Thatcher once said, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.”

How true for, everywhere socialism has been tried, it has failed and it fails because, once other people’s money runs out, the entire framework for it collapses.

The second quote comes from Albert Einstein.

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

Feel free to argue with Einstein over this premise but, you will lose the debate.

Okay, keep both those sage and spot on quotes in mind as we proceed as they will ring even more true for any with common sense.

Let’s take the case that Karen Lewis tried to make earlier this year.

Chris Kyle: The Last Thing They NEVER Saw

Over The weekend, America lost a hero.

By now, his death is being cheered by our enemies and already, it has been disgraced by Ron Paul WHO TWEETED: “Chris Kyle’s death seems to confirm that ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.’ Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn’t make sense.”

Navy Seal Chris Kyle was murdered by a former marine. Shot in the back at a gun range.

Ron Paul should be ashamed of himself.

Chris Kyle was the greatest sniper who ever lived and served 4 tours of duty. That is enough to make him a hero but, it simply wasn’t enough for Chris Kyle.

When asked if he had any regrets regarding his service and his activities as a sniper, Chris answered, point blank…Yes.

He said it wasn’t those he dispatched who haunted him but those Americans, Iraqi’s and other allies he was unable to save.

Chris Kyle recorded 160 kills and some, from as far distant as 21 football fields away.

That is 160 insurgents and terrorists who never again killed an American or an Iraqi who either had or was suspected OF aiding Americans.

Let’s not pretend we knew Chris Kyle. Outside his family, his wife, children parents only a handful of others really knew him.

I Was GOBSMACKED!!!

It was back in 1998.

We were in Lincoln Nebraska and I was in radio doing 2 live shows a day.

Our morning show was a free-wheeling top 40 show and great fun to be a part of.

It was the day after Thanksgiving and, as always, we got the show off with a newscast, some music and settled in.

That’s when my on-air partner, Jerry Balletta asked the seemingly simple question.

He look at me and at Kala and Liz, our co-hosts and asked:

“How was everybody’s Thanksgiving?”

We never talked before the show and never discussed topics or ideas. We always wanted things to be fresh. Spontaneous. No rehearsals, nothing planned in advance.

So, it was a simple question. Almost rhetorical. “How was everybody’s Thanksgiving?”
