Obama’s Second Shellacking!!!

And so the first presidential debate of 2012 is in the books.

Romney 1.

Obama 0.

Obama hasn’t taken a shellacking like that since the 2010 midterm elections.

It was so one sided that even liberal pundits were lamenting their loss. There was no tingle running up Chris Matthew’s leg. Bill Maher tweeted: “Obama made a lot of great points tonight. Unfortunately, most of them were for Romney.”

CNN, MSNBC, ALL the liberal media had Romney squarely in the winner’s column.

VAN JONES said: “Romney was able to ‘out-Obama’ Obama. On the connection piece, on the authenticity piece, on the being able to tell the story.”

It came down to several things.

Romney was more upbeat than was Obama and it showed throughout. Obama just didn’t have the energy level…Head down…and smirking often.

It’s more than that though. Much more.

Mitt Romney was on point. He had the facts. He had the numbers. And he let them flow. Mitt Romney never seemed to be searching for answers.

Obama did. There were several times throughout the 90 minute debate that Obama had to circle around to discover an answer in his responses to questions.

Off prompter…Obama is lost.

Mitt Romney was on the offensive.

Obama played defense and played defense badly.

Debate 1 – Here We Go!!!

Domestic Policy.

That’s the topic of tonight’s first debate between the contenders for the presidency.

Domestic Policy.

Obama will be spinning faster than the centrifuges in Iran. He’s tried NOT to talk about Domestic Policy as the economy continues to drag itself along, barely alive.

For weeks. If not months, Obama has preferred to talk about his FOREIGN policy because…he felt that was a much shinier ball than his domestic policy.

That all changed 3 weeks ago.

Libya.

Now he’s pulled the cover-up covers up over his head.

4 Americans dead. A terrorist attack. Failed attempts to divert, as liberals are want to do, the attention to a stupid You Tube Video.

He dodged and ducked, did the View and Letterman…spoke at the U.N. and ran away from even having lunch there not to mention his snubbing of Netanyahu.

He hung with Beyonce and Jay-Z…did a radio show…Pimp with a Limp…The morning after the terrorist attack, he flew to Vegas for a fund raiser.

The foreign policy ain’t got that sparkle anymore does it?

So…Domestic Policy…

Israel Readies for Confrontation, Obama Cornered

There is a VERY dangerous chess match afoot.

When pressed, one week ago by reporters regarding the situation between Israel and Iran, white house tough question dodger, Jay Carney said we must allow the, “most stringent sanctions ever imposed on any country time to work.”

He went on to say that there was still a “window of opportunity to persuade Iran … to forgo its nuclear weapons ambitions.”

Really? Allow the “most stringent sanctions ever imposed on any country time to work,” for WHO exactly?

In the LONG run, or short, when have sanctions EVER worked?

And exactly WHO’S window of opportunity are we talking about???

I’ve got some breaking news for ya Carney…Israel doesn’t have time for sanctions to work because, sanctions always work for the timeline of those they are levied against.

Iran will not be brought to their collective knees by sanctions of any kind but they WILL use the “time” provided by “diplomatic efforts” to stretch THEIR window of opportunity to produce nuclear weapons.

Sanctions are nothing but a wagging of a finger by the United Nations and regardless of how vigorously it is wagged, the offending nation always flips their own finger at the free world in response.

And the Cain Endorsement Goes TO…

As Herman Cain “suspended” his campaign on Saturday, he promised that soon, he would endorse a candidate and in my article, “CAIN SUSPENDS CAMPAIGN,” I suggested he make that endorsement as soon as possible.

Now, we learn that Mr. Cain will, TODAY, make his endorsement.

It WILL be Newt Gingrich.

This will no doubt please some and anger others, but Newt will receive the Cain Endorsement later this morning.

Here’s the conundrum for some Cain supporters.

Cain has been called the “Ultimate Outsider” and many of his most ardent supporters have clung to him because of his Tea Party stance. Now, Mr. Cain will endorse the man many feel is the “Ultimate Insider” Newt Gingrich.

While polls over the last week have shown that should Cain bow out of the race, most of his support would go to Gingrich with some falling to Romney or Paul, and I speculated that Gingrich would receive the Cain endorsement, it is yet to be seen just how MUCH of Cain’s support will fall to Newt in reality.
