Walker’s Reforms = Obama Referendum

Tomorrow is reelection day in Wisconsin. REELECTION DAY.

Forget the RECALL, it’s not going to happen.

When Scott Walker was running in 2010, he knew his state was on the edge of the abyss. He knew the financial disaster looming would be bad and he ran on a platform of making substantial decisions aimed at pulling Wisconsin away from the brink.

Walker said that collective bargaining of public sector unions had to go. Wisconsin could no longer afford them. Walker said that union Members would have to start paying for a portion of their own pension programs for the same reason…Wisconsin could no longer afford to foot the full bill.

Walker won that election over his liberal rival, Tom Barrett.

Once he became the Governor OF Wisconsin, Walker set about putting into place exactly what he said he would when he was a candidate.

His actions, and those of his conservative majority in the state legislature set ablaze the liberal/socialist machine.

Lobotomized Shepherds Tending Their Flocks

They do walk among us. Really, they do.

Stupid people.

Liberals.

Pardon my redundancy.

A couple of days ago, in what can only be seen as a non partisan, clearly not racial, and certainly a prime example of the separation of church and state they liberals so heavily preach in favor of sort of event, Eric Holder spoke to a group of black religious leaders and the Congressional Black Caucus about…

How they could use their pulpits to help reelect Barack Hussein Obama.

So…there he was, the Attorney General of the United States, who is under investigation and possibly facing contempt of congress charges, speaking to black preachers and black caucus members.

The Commencement Address Grads NEED to Hear

Well, another May is half over and another year gone by without any asylum of higher learning asking me to provide sage wisdom to graduating seniors.

I don’t know why.

Dressed in caps and gowns, young people are heading out into the world and they need advice. Not the sort of advice they’re likely to get but real advice. They need the sort of advice that will help them face reality and cope with it.

On the off chance that even one “Future of Our Nation” graduate will see this, allow me to offer such advice.

Young people…YOU are the future of this great nation and I shudder at the very thought of it.

You may well not like my advice and many of you probably won’t follow it, but, someday, you will realize you should have.

From Fast and Furious to Slow and Curious?

Congressman Issa and the House Committee investigating Eric Holder and the Fast and Furious scandal has given Holder until Memorial Day weekend to cough up the rest of the 80,000 documents, emails and memos regarding their investigation.

Waiting in the wings is a contempt of Congress charge against Holder.

Last week, Utah Congressman, Jason Chaffetz, chairman of the Oversight in Government Subcommittee on National Security, Homeland Defense and Foreign Operations introduced an amendment to the Justice Department’s appropriations bill to cut dollars from the DOJ budget and another measure which would cut $1 million dollars from the DOJ over its stonewalling and stall tactics regarding Fast and Furious.

Said Chaffitz, “You shouldn’t be using federal taxpayer dollars to lie to Congress.”

The vote on the measures passed, 381-41 and all of the 41 are Democrats.

This, of course means, there are 41 liberals in the House who believe that the DOJ and Eric Holder have every right TO use taxpayer money to lie to Congress.

That is shameful at every level and at every turn.

My Mom is My Hero

Today is Mother’s Day and I’m going to set politics aside…Just for today.

There was never a day in my life that I can remember, and I can remember things that happened when I was 2 years old, that I didn’t know I was adopted. I grew up knowing it and, trust me, adoption ran rampant through my family.

I was adopted. My brother was adopted. My sister was adopted, cousins and more…Adopted. My mother, the one who adopted me was adopted herself.

Now then, my sister is my real sister and she was adopted my mother’s sister. Aunt Clara May and Uncle Horace had 2 boys of their own and wanted a girl. My mother and father had already adopted 1 boy and wanted another.

So, there wasn’t a day that I didn’t know I was adopted and not a single day that I didn’t know that my sister, whose parents were my aunt and uncle, was my real sister.

This arrangement, of course, made my sisters 2 brothers my cousins and it also made my brother and sister cousins to each other and it wasn’t until I was 6 or 7 years old that I realized…Not everybody’s family was set up in this manner. To us…It seemed normal.

Friday Fume

Oh…Hello…Is it the end of the week already?

Here I’ve been, trying like crazy to hum a happy tune while all week, all around me, things are going to hell in a liberal/socialist hand basket.

You know me…I TRY not to let it all get to me but…

HOLY CRAP…COME FRIDAY…

I’m fuming.

This week, we start by taking a little walk in the park…any park…

On May 1st…OCCUPI…which I’m sure is the plural of Occupus…WAS GOING TO SHUT DOWN AMERICA!!!

Never have so many feared so much since the Myans ran out of binders for their calendars.

The OCCUPI were going to shut down bridges, streets, commerce and banks. They were going to make it impossible to get to work, school, playgrounds, and hospitals. They were going to cause such mass havoc that the United States as we know it would be brought to its knees.

Ummmmm…Did they forget to hit “SEND” on their email? WHERE THE HECK WAS EVERYBODY??? In major cities across this great land…Chicago…New York…Dallas…Atlanta…L.A. they were barely able to shut down a crosswalk.

WE WERE TOLD THIS WOULD BE EARTH SHAKING…IT WAS GOING TO BE HUGE…WOMEN WOULD RUN SCREAMING INTO THE NIGHT AND CHILDREN WOULD HAVE TO COVER THERE EYES…AND WHAT HAPPENS???

Obama/Shabazz – Allies in a New Race War

“We’re going in soon within a few weeks and we’re going to train the community and community patrols and community self-defense in Sanford. We’re not going to allow some Neo-Nazis to drive around and intimidate black people and we know what we know and are trained how we’re trained.

We have to raise up an army in Florida of black me[n] and black people who will patrol and defend the community and we have to have a ministry of defense in Florida.

You touch us with what we are building for black people and you got a hell of a price to pay. You don’t build a movement – if you don’t develop a movement and defend what you develop with a movement then you gonna be out of luck. So we gotta do both my sista. We got to fight on all fronts. We got to build and in self-defense we got to kill.”

If, as the result of Malik Zulu Shabazz’s call to violence, a black person dies in or near Sanford Florida…the drum beat of racial war will be deafening.

If a white person dies in or near Sanford Florida because of Malik Zulu Shabazz’s call to violence…the SILENCE will be deafening.

War on Women…Are Liberals REALLY This Stupid?

Liberal/socialist strategist Hillary Rosen had this to say last night regarding Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann.

“His wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She’s never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of women in this country are facing.”

Wow…Out of the blue?

Hardly.

“Well, you know, I don’t know Laura Bush. But she seems to be calm, and she has a sparkle in her eye, which is good. But I don’t know that she’s ever had a real job — I mean, since she’s been grown up.”

-Teresa Heinz Kerry slamming Laura Bush

“I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas, but what I decided to do was to fulfill my profession which I entered before my husband was in public life.”

-Hillary Clinton in 1992 slamming stay at home wives and Moms

No…Not out of the blue by ANY means. In fact…it’s a time worn liberal mantra.

Are you part of the 42%?

Are you part of the 42%?  If you are, then you are rightly upset by all the rhetoric coming out of the incumbent’s administration and the talking heads on media.  If you are not part of the 42%, then consider yourself lucky.  For the all of you who are wondering what I am talking about, grab a beer, some popcorn and your calculator and read on…

Oh, and I refuse to use the man’s name when referring to the person occupying the seat of President.  I respect the office of the President, as one should.  I do not respect the man or his ideology.

Ok… So… Unemployment is at 8.2%. However, 88 MILLION people are not in the work force. Let’s compile some numbers here (according to the CIA World Factbook)…

  • US Population: 313.8 million (2012 abstract based on 2010 census and data derived comparing previous census data)
  • Population of working age (15-64): 209.2 million
  • Population NOT working: 88 million

And what is the “official” unemployment percentage? 8.2%.  That means that officially, ONLY 17.2 million people are not working.  Hmmmm  Does not add up.  What is the real percentage based on the numbers above?  Well, using the numbers above, you get a percentage of…wait for it…42%. Yes. 42% of people are not in the work force, according to those numbers. And I TRIED to use round numbers of the extrapolated numbers to be as generous as possible, but I am not willing to spin numbers for any reason.  I deal in fact, and the fact is our country is a LOT worse off than our government handlers are letting on.
