On the Brink of the Socialist Abyss

Just one week shy of the proposed signing of a “treaty” with the United Nations which would cede our 2nd Amendment rights to foreign countries like Iran, we had a mass killing in Aurora Colorado.

The rebuke by liberals was easy to predict.

It’s the guns they tell us. It’s the bullets.

We need stricter gun laws. We need gun bans. We need to restrict gun sales.

Oh the list of predictable responses by the liberal/socialists just never ends.

Then, along comes Mayor Bloomberg.

“I don’t understand why police officers across this country don’t stand up, collectively, and say, ‘We’re going to go on strike. We’re not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what’s required to keep us safe.”

Well, I have something to say to Bloomberg and I’ll say it, wringing every ounce of respect out of myself that he deserves.

Bloomberg…You are a socialist and an absolute idiot!!!!!

The IDEA of having cops go on strike until GUN CONTROL is in effect is as stupid  an idea as I have ever heard.

It’s downright un-American. It’s socialist in nature and it PALES in comparison to what’s about to happen.

I’m going to explain the history of this nation in terms that most people would never consider…

Romney’s MUST Give Speech

It’s time for Mitt Romney to start telling it like it is. Like it really is. It’s high time he took off the nice guy gloves and started laying it on the line with respect to our economy.

What follows is the speech he needs to start delivering.

Hello.

My name is Mitt Romney and I’m running for President.

Next month, our party will hold a convention and, I expect to receive the Republican nomination at that convention but, there are some things you need to know and waiting until after the convention might be too late.

My opponent, Obama, is running about telling stories. He’s on the attack. Okay. We, my staff and I, expected that. I would hazard to guess that some of you expected it too.

His plan is to attack…ME. Early in our republican primary race, his campaign issued the order…”Kill Romney.”

Now, I’m not just speaking to those in my own party when I ask this question: Is that what a president, immersed in the worst economy we’ve seen in many, many decades and a skyrocketing debt should be doing? To those who voted FOR Obama in 2008…Is that what you elected him to do?

Please, correct me if I’m wrong but…Didn’t you elect Obama to change things? Change them for the better? Didn’t you elect him to fix the economy? Didn’t you elect him to cut the debt in half? Didn’t you elect Obama to bring transparency to the government? To mend the divide between parties?

Long Term Solutions to a 1 Term Problem

Yesterday, in our article, “Obama’s Tax Plan Unicorn” we pointed out the extreme short term thinking of the Emperor and its negative effects on small businesses. We also promised a long term solution.

To understand the long term solutions we must look back a little.

While Obama’s excuse for the economic disaster has always been, and continues to be George W. Bush, it is clearly a false notion.

Congress switched hands in the midterm election of 2006 with liberals taking control in January of 2007. Obama ran on false promises of fixing the economy and from the time he took office until the midterm 2010 election, HIS party controlled both the House and the Senate but, rather than working on the economy, Obama took advantage of his party’s control of congress to ram through Obamacare.

Stolen Valor – Lost Honor

In all the very appropriate outrage over the Supreme Court ruling on ObamaCare, another ruling made by the Supreme Court has gotten much less attention – except in military/Veteran circles. And we are disgusted. Not to mention furious. The Supreme Court ruled on the Stolen Valor Act, as well as ObamaCare.

The Stolen Valor Act prohibits a person from falsely claiming that he or she has been awarded a military honor. It was passed by Congress in 2005, signed by President George W Bush, and called for a possible 1 year prison term.

Voting in favor of striking down the Stolen Valor Act were the Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen G. Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan.

Supporting the law were Justices Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas and Samuel A. Alito.

The case the Supreme Court heard involved a man falsely claiming to be a Marine having been awarded the Medal of Honor – the highest of Honors. In Boot Camp we ‘joked’ that to get the Medal of Honor you had to be dead – you had to have sacrificed yourself to save others. It is commonly presented posthumously.

The Medal of Honor is, admittedly, the most extreme example. Many of our heroes live to receive their military awards, rather than having them presented to a grieving family. And they are often left with serious physical injuries, and even more often with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or other mental and emotional injuries.

The REVEREND’S Racism Rants

The REVEREND (of what, we do not know) Al Sharpton has imparted upon us his deep thoughts regarding Eric Holder and Fast and Furious.

“As I marched this past Sunday with tens of thousands in New York in opposition to the abhorrent practice of stop & frisk,’ I couldn’t help but think of our attorney general. Tattered down and publicly humiliated, AG Holder has been mishandled just like the young Black and Latino men (and women) who are demonized on our streets everyday.”

“The highest officer of law and order in this nation has been ridiculed, scapegoated and handled as some sort of criminal throughout this ‘investigation.’ Turning over thousands of documents and overextending himself, AG Holder was spoken to and mistreated as if he were a child, and reminded that despite his esteemed position, he can and would be profiled.”

“Not only did Issa and his counterparts never go after previous attorneys general or the Bush Administration itself, but they continue to treat AG Holder as if he is indeed guilty of the most egregious crime. It is the same sort of tactic we see utilized against the hundreds of thousands of innocent individuals stopped and searched by police. They have no weapon, haven’t committed an offense, yet somehow ‘appear’ as a culprit.”

Yes…according to the REVEREND (of what, we do not know) Al Sharpton…the victim in the Fast and Furious operation is…Eric Holder.

And WHY is Eric Holder the victim?

Obama’s “Fundamental Transformation” to Imperial Rule

America is poised to the razor’s edge of an abyss the depths of which have no measure. Make no mistake, this is a fact.

We currently have a “president” who stands at that deadly precipice and orders the nation…”FORWARD.”

If what Obama did last Friday, with his immigration decree doesn’t wake you up, you are forever lost.

Allow me to be as clear and succinct as is humanly possible.

In November, there will be 2 names on the presidential ballot.

Obama.

Romney.

That’s it. That’s it no matter who would rather have someone else’s name there instead of Romney. I am one of them as of the field which ran, I would have much preferred Newt Gingrich. No matter what thread of hope onto which I hang, there will be no brokered convention. Newt will not be the nominee.

The exact same is a fact for the followers of Ron Paul. The supporters of Sarah Palin, Allen West, Perry, Cain, Santorum, Pawlenty, Bachmann and on and on.

It is just as true for those who support candidates who have never been heard of by people outside of their circle of friends. John Dummett Jr. comes to mind…A candidate with no name recognition whatsoever outside a small yet determined band of social media advocates.

None will be the nominee to face Obama but Mitt Romney.

That is a fact and those who don’t believe it had better start.

In November, on the presidential ballot will be 2 names. Obama and Romney.

Those who would cast a write in vote for someone other than Romney and then stand their ground and state that they voted for liberty are fools.

That too is a fact.

Every vote NOT cast for Romney in November IS a vote for Obama in that each such vote is a vote not in the Romney tally and THAT allows Obama to gain a crucial step ahead of the only other name on that ballot.

One need look no further back than Ross Perot.

Perot siphoned off enough votes from Bush 41 to keep Bush from defeating Clinton. Perot was just 1…JUST 1… “other candidate and this year, in the most important election since 1860, there are too many “other” candidates to count.

Each “other” candidate…All those different write ins, will garner, maybe, 1 or 2% of the vote IF they’re lucky. 10 “other candidates would split 10%-20% of the vote.

That is exactly the same as spotting Obama, 10%-20% in a race that has THE most dire consequences in HISTORY.

Those who would vote a write in and declare that they voted for liberty might just as well buy the bullets for the firing squad facing them and proudly declaring that they cleaned the rifles for them.

Flag Day and the Pledge…Getting it Right

When I was a kid, growing up in Nebraska in the 1960’s, every day in school, we stood, put our right hand over our heart and said the Pledge of Allegiance.

Someone was always picked to lead the Pledge and that was an honor.

Sadly, in many schools today, that is no longer the case.

Today, there are those who try to make some sort of statement by NOT saying it at all. Rather than stand they sit. Rather than speak, they remain silent.

But for those who do recite the Pledge of Allegiance, I want to bring something to your attention. I think it’s important and maybe, after reading this, so too will you.

There is a very good chance you’re saying it incorrectly.

It’s not your fault. You get the words correct but, many say it the wrong way. It’s how you were taught as a child to memorize the Pledge and, well, it’s just not correct.

When it Comes to Syria, Obama is Pounding Sand

Every day, for months and months, we have watched, horrified, as Assad in Syria murders his own people. Women, children, men…Innocents slaughtered in the streets, in their homes, day and night.

Many have been outright executed.

Now, over the past 2 days, we have heard that the Russians are sending helicopter gunships to Assad in Syria.

Helicopter gunships is a gross understatement. These are killing machines designed not to pinpoint targets but to literally wipe out everything and anything in front of them. These helicopters are built to fight tank battalions in the field. In an urban area, they can and will rain death and destruction from the sky.

Assad, of course, claims he won’t be using them for that purpose – but then again, he claims it’s not HIS government killing his people.

Through it all, through the death, the murders, the destruction…We wonder why? Why is Obama doing…nothing?

Let me try to explain what Obama doesn’t want you to know.

Mr. Speaker…File Contempt Charges…NOW!

Have you had enough of Eric Holder yet? Have you?

I know I have and I also know I’m not alone.

Listening to Holder feign amnesia in one congressional hearing after another is nauseating. He’s done it 8 times now and I have had quite enough.

The committees have subpoenaed some 80,000 documents, emails and memos from Eric Holder and he has turned over only 7,600 of them.

Holder himself yesterday admitted to having 140,000 such documents but upon questioning from Congressman Issa as to how many subpoenaed documents he has YET to turn over, Holder would only say that he has turned over 7,600.

Speaker Boehner, in not answering questions, in stonewalling, in lying, in claiming he does not recall dates, conversation or reading documents, in claiming he has no idea who knew what, when they knew it or who if anybody they told, Eric Holder is clearly showing contempt for the congressional committees.

We all watched and listened to the sound bites from yesterday’s hearing. We all heard time and time again…”I don’t know,” “I don’t recall,” I was not aware,” and on and on and on.

We heard the contentious back and forth with Congressman Issa and we listened while Holder refused to answer question. We heard it and I suspect, you did as well.

All of that was rehashed non answers of questions asked and not answered by Holder in 7 previous hearings but there was something new. Something startling. Something which did not get much notice yesterday, but I want to bring it to your attention today.

This was the give and take between Eric Holder and Congressman Jason Chaffetz.

In this, you will hear, point blank and no question about it, Eric Holder PERJURE himself before the congressional committee.

PERJURY, Mr. Speaker.

Watch and listen.

From an email dated Oct 17th, 2010, from Deputy Assistant Attorney General Jason Weinstein to James Trusty:

“Do you think we should have Lanny participate in press when Fast and Furious and Laura’s Tucson case [Wide Receiver] are unsealed? It’s a tricky case, given the number of guns that have walked, but it is a significant set of prosecutions.”

Then on Oct. 18th, 2010, from Trusty back to Weinstein:

“I think so, but the timing will be tricky, too. Looks like we’ll be able to unseal the Tucson case sooner than the Fast and Furious (although this may be just the difference between Nov. and Dec).”

“It’s not clear how much we’re involved in the main F and F [Fast and Furious] case,” reads the email, “but we have Tucson [Wide Receiver] and now a new unrelated case with [redacted] targets. It’s not any big surprise that a bunch of US guns are being used in MX [Mexico], so I’m not sure how much grief we get for ‘guns walking.’ It may be more like ‘Finally, they’re going after people who sent guns down there.’”

Mr. Speaker, with the words being read aloud to him by Congressman Chaffetz, Eric Holder stood his ground and told Congressman Chaffetz that those emails DID NOT REFER TO FAST AND FURIOUS.

Mr. Speaker…clearly…Eric Holder is lying and THAT, sir, is perjury.

For Eric Holder to insist, over and over again, that these emails do not refer to Fast and Furious when he is told over and over again by Congressman Chaffetz that they clearly do because they indeed mention Fast and Furious by name is both showing contempt for the Congressional Committee and committing perjury.

No more delays, Mr. Speaker. No more waiting. No more chances, Mr. Speaker.

I call on you to bring charges of contempt and perjury against Eric Holder NOW.

You, sir, have allowed Eric Holder more than a year to comply, and it is obvious to the world that he has no intention of doing so; and to allow this travesty to continue is, in and of itself, a travesty and any who would allow the continuation of it are themselves guilty of aiding and abetting the contempt, the perjury and the travesty.

Not for one more day Mr. Speaker, should the Attorney General, the head of the Department of Justice, be allowed to obstruct justice!

LANDSLIDE IN WISCONSIN – WALKER WINS…AGAIN!!!

WALKER WINS WISCONSIN IN WHAT EARLY REPORTS SHOW AS A LANDSLIDE!!!!!

Even amid allegations of voter fraud by liberals, Governor Scott Walker has WON reelection in Wisconsin

Some of the allegations included 4 bus loads of unionists from MICHIGAN heading into Wisconsin to cast votes for Walker’s challenger, Barrett.

Also up for reelection in Wisconsin today were Senators, Scott Fitzgerald, Van Wanggaard, Terry Moulton and Pam Galloway along with Lt. Governor, Rebecca Kleefisch.

As we said earlier this week, the Wisconsin vote would be a foreshadowing of the national vote in November and it is easy to predict such fraud allegations some 5 months from now.

Liberals, socialists and unions are, for the 2nd time in 2 years, on the losing end of a Wisconsin election and this will have ramifications in the presidential, congressional and local elections this November.

This is also a warning over the Obama bow.

As the November elections approach, expect a flurry of illegal voter registrations, union thuggery, increased activities by the New BlacKKK Panthers and more. NOTHING will be deemed off limits by those fearing the loss of their grip on power and the nullification of their socialist agenda.
