Weed Weasels, Statues and the Truth

So…today it’s statues that are being removed. Statues of Confederates to be precise, and why? Because some people claim to be offended by them.

It’s a conundrum really.

The terminally offended, which one can most usually find in the deep weeds of their natural habitat…on the left side of the political aisle…say that those statues, of Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis and the like just have to go. They must be removed because they are tangible reminders of the era of slavery.

Really?

Reminders of slavery? So, if those statues are removed…what? History is scrubbed clean of the stain of slavery?

It doesn’t work that way.

Charlottesville…A Perfect Storm of Perfect Idiots

There was a whole lot of stuff going on in Charlottesville Virginia last weekend. There were a whole lot of people in Charlottesville Virginia last weekend who didn’t actually live there. There were many different groups represented, a vast number of diametrically opposite agendas and plenty of tension.

There was also something most clearly missing in Charlottesville last weekend…

Thinking.

Nobody there, engaging in this march, that protest or the other thing was thinking. In fact, it may well have been the largest gathering of a vastly divergent number of brainless morons I have seen in quite some time.

The alt-right was there…a brainless bunch of idiots. ANTIFA was there…a brainless bunch of idiots. White supremacist groups were there…brainless idiots all and Black Lives Matter was there…brainless idiots all, but if you think the brainless idiots in Charlottesville last weekend were confined to the aforementioned groups…

Think again…

That’s like a gym membership, a personal trainer, a house full of gym equipment so that you could ignore the gym altogether even though you had the membership, a new car, a boat, and a really nice new house in many parts of this great country…

A New Low in Public Education

In the politically correct society, which is being shoved down our throats daily by liberals, a few things have become commonplace…like participation trophies.

These are the trophies handed out like candy on Halloween to kids who simply show up at any given competition because we just can’t have only the winners getting some sort of an award…it hurts the feelings of the losers, and yes liberals, in life there are winners, and there are most certainly losers.

As adults, even in jobs that require the wearing of paper hats, one is expected to perform whatever task they’re assigned to a certain level…which means that flipping a burger when it is half done cooking is considered winning, while slapping said slab of meat on a bun half raw, is considered…losing.

Or at least, that should be the case, but…

Right Issues…Wrong Suspects

Donald Trump Jr. is, apparently, the very first person connected to a presidential campaign, in the history of historic things, to take a meeting with someone who is purported to have information of some interest on the opposition candidate.

Never mind that Ted Kennedy, while making his own run at the White House, took a meeting with the KGB in an effort to get the goods on Ronald Reagan.

It’s not the same thing, and you know it.

This was Donald Trump Jr. taking a meeting with a Russian attorney…Natalia Buyadamnvowelortwowhydon’tya…whom he was led to believe had some dirt on Hillary Clinton. See…completely different from Ted Kennedy meeting with the KGB to gather dirt on Reagan. Completely different…not even close to the same thing.

James Comey’s Kathy Griffin Moment

Oh, the week that was…

The liberals haven’t had a week that bad since early last November, and it all culminated last Thursday with the testimony of James Comey.

Let’s take a look at last week’s liberal low-lights…shall we?

It all started with Megyn Kelly, the big liberal score who left Fox News for the friendlier liberal confines of CNN, whose debut show on the fake news network garnered FEWER viewers than a RERUN of 60 Minutes…stuff that people had already seen.

And her interview with Vladimir Putin? Kelly was nothing more than Putin’s punching bag…at one point, he even told her that SHE should be arrested.

The MINORITY in both halls of congress seems to think they have the power to impeach the president…because they apparently weren’t paying attention to School House Rock as children, and last week, their desperation manifested itself in epic fits of irrelevance.

Just a couple of years ago, Barack Hussein Obama traded 5 Taliban war council members for 1 U.S. traitor, thus releasing the Islamists back into the wild, and theaters of war…and the liberal/socialists said nothing.

Comey Go Homey

So…it’s been an interesting week.

France, more than half a century after the end of WWII finally surrendered to Germany and President Trump finally fired FBI Director, James Comey.

The former has Islamists dancing on the Champs Elysées and Angela Merkel now running two countries without borders…while the latter has Hillary Clinton sweating like Britney Spears on Jeopardy.

Liberals, being the socialists that they are, are overjoyed at the prospect of an even more socialistic France crawling with assorted, but unvetted Islamists, but their heads are exploding over the firing of James Comey.

To the Class of 2017…

Once again, here we are on the cusp of college graduation season, and I have not been asked to give a commencement address.

It would seem a mystery, but as I deal in truth and reality…I’m not at all surprised by the snub.

Come to think of it…it’s probably the same reason I’ve never been invited to give the Christmas Eve service at church. That said, rather than stand there blowing smoke up the gowns of the soon to be graduated, like so many other do on an annual basis, I will simply issue this year’s address via my keyboard…and it should be required reading for any and all who are about to leave our esteemed asylums of higher indoctrination.
