The Land of Oz – A Cautionary Tale

Let’s be honest, you would have an easier time finding Atlantis, or whatever happened to the bits and pieces of whatever crashed near Roswell in 1947 than you would have finding the Land of Oz.

“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by Frank Baum, was a tale of the downfall of the populist movement of the late 1800s. It was a satire regarding the political, economic, and social situation that existed in this country at the dawn of a new century. Oz is the abbreviation for an ounce, which happens to be how we measure gold. The yellow brick road was the gold you followed to get whatever you desired.

To Frank Baum, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” wasn’t a children’s fairy tale, it was political satire, and that becomes more than evident when you read from the stage production penned by Baum himself in 1902, in which the Tin Woodsman wonders about his fate should he run out of oil, to which the scarecrow responds, “You wouldn’t be as badly off as John D. Rockefeller. He’d lose six thousand dollars a minute if that happened.”

Gaslighting America – Part 2

Gaslighting is the practice of manipulating an individual or group, by psychological means, into questioning their own sanity. Another commonly known term is, “projecting” which is the tactic of attributing one’s own unacceptable urges or behavior to another.

Projecting or gaslighting as described is the first line of defense for your average 3 year old who has just broken a vase by throwing a ball in the house, and it’s the last resort of a political party under the leadership of a daft old coot who knows that he and his party are about to lose an election because they’ve done everything wrong, and even their own once solid voting base is crumbling away.

Little Joey didn’t break the vase…little Donny did it.

Gaslighting America – Part 1

Trump supporters have been called lots of things by liberals since the opening of the 2016 presidential campaign. The problem for liberals is, all of the labels they’ve attached to Conservatives have everything to do with the actions and behaviors OF liberals…and NOTHING to do with the actions or behaviors of Conservatives.

Hillary Clinton called Trump supporters a “basket of deplorables.”

Hillary went on to say, “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.”

Naturally, the mainstream propaganda media latched onto to all of those absurd labels and became the label-calling parrots of the DNC in an effort to gaslight American voters but it didn’t stop there.

The Biden DOJ has labeled parents who want a say in their children’s education and show up at local school board meetings as “domestic terrorists.”

Democrat Voters Exit Stage Right

The party of liberal Marxism is hemorrhaging voters over their liberal Marxist policies and their response, their solution to stop the bleeding is to pile on more liberal Marxist policies.

It’s a lose, lose scenario and apparently, the liberal Marxists aren’t tired of losing yet.

The party of liberal Marxism won’t be happy until everybody is equal…equally poor that is…and for the very lives of them, they can’t figure out why their voters are beyond mad. To be honest, a good many liberal Marxist voters aren’t too happy with themselves either, and are feeling the pangs of buyer’s remorse.

For decades, actually for better than half a century, democrat voters believed everything they were told by their party’s power elite. They believed that it was the democrat party that cared about them, that only the democrat party could help them, and that the democrat party and the democrat party alone was the party of the children.

It was all a lie, but they had been warned.

The Great Pretenders

A couple of weeks ago, it came to light that a couple of men had been pretending to be federal DHS agents since February of 2020.

Arian Taherzadeh, 40, and Haider Ali, both 35 years old and neither sporting an Irish name are said by the FBI to have used their false associations with the U.S. government “to ingratiate themselves with members of federal law enforcement and the defense community.”

According to the FBI an agency that has been too busy over the past couple of years investigating soccer moms as domestic terrorists now say that the two pretended to be members of the Department of Homeland Security, provided U.S. Secret Service members and a DHS employee with rent-free apartments, “iPhones, surveillance systems, a drone, a flat screen television, a case for storing an assault rifle, a generator, and law enforcement paraphernalia along with carrying  concealed firearms, DHS Investigations (HSI) “casefiles” marked “confidential,” and presented witnesses with a badges and other credentials to prove they were supposedly federal agents.

The revelation that a couple of potential REAL terrorists, although not rising to the level of danger posed by parents at school board meetings had been well-funded and pretending to be federal agents sent mainstream media yahoos into a frenzy of disbelief which forces me to ask…WHY?

The “Victims” of Virtue-Signaling Liberals

I have always said that liberalism could not exist without “victims” and where liberals can’t find real victims, they have no problem manufacturing “victims.”

I stand by that today more than I ever have.

For decades, liberals pretended to care about black people in this country, but in reality, they never really did. The democrat party was, and is the party of slavery, the KKK, Jim Crow laws, segregation and any other manifestation of racism you care to mention. It has been the democrat party, now the liberal Marxists who only adopted and claimed to represent black and now people of color when they realized the voting bloc those people were. By pretending to be the only party that cared about them, they kept that voting bloc voting democrat for better than half a century, but in reality, nothing regarding those people ever really changed.

A Tangled Web of Nincompoopery

Certainly, we are not the first batch of people to live in strange times. Strange times have been around since time was invented. For instance, thousands of years before God calmed down after getting laid and having a son, he was supposedly pranking people by encouraging them to kill their sons, advocating eye gouging and the pulling of teeth, turning people into pillars of salt and drowning others with whom he disagreed. That was either the advent of social media censorship, or it was just plain strange.

In ancient Egypt, when you died, if you were deemed to be important enough, somebody pulled your brain out of your nose, covered you in some sort of gooey sap-like substance, dehumidified you to near dust levels, wrapped you up in strips of linen and left food in your tomb so that you could enjoy your afterlife to the fullest extent that anyone whose brain had been yanked through their nose possibly could..

People whose brains were yanked out through their noses in ancient times are called mummies, while people who go through that same process today are called democrats and they’re still voting but even by ancient Egyptian’s standards, that had to seem pretty strange.

2022 and Beyond

As I have said before and will say again, the 2024 GOP presidential nomination is Donald Trump’s for the taking, and while we’ve yet to hear anything official, it sure seems as though he’s going for it.

I’ll get back to that in a bit, but before we delve into 2024, there are the 2022 midterm elections that must first be dealt with and putting too much focus on 2024, at this point, would be a disaster for Conservatives.

All signs are pointing to a red tsunami this November, and it will be just that unless Republicans screw this up and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. We can’t allow that to happen which means that as Conservatives, we need a game plan.

A Party Without a Platform

“Because of them, Congress was able to defeat the insurrection.”

That’s what Nancy Pelosi said on January 6th regarding the Capitol Police and the so-called “insurrection” that took place a year ago. It was clearly a case of a horse’s ass spewing bullshit.

First of all, it was the Capitol Police who by many accounts of those who were there that day that removed the barricades and opened the Capitol doors FOR the supposed “insurrectionists” and allowed them to enter the Capitol. It was also the Capitol Police who in many cases were photographed and videotaped holding open the doors and calmly watching as the “insurrectionists” made their way through the Capitol that day.

Second of all…CONGRESS was able to defeat the “insurrection?”

You Can’t Spin a House of Cards

It’s now 2022.

2021, a disastrous year by any reasonable stretch of judging such things is over and there is hope, a faint light at the far end of the tunnel. We can see it from here and all we have to do as Conservatives is not screw it up.

2021 was so bad that even Betty White died before it ended. Can you even imaging how bleak things would have looked for 2022 had she hung on for just one more day?

Yes, it is a whole new year with the same old crap in place but it is also a mid-term election year and things aren’t looking very good for blue, liberal Marxist elected officials. Their policies dominated 2021 in all the worst ways possible and as the 2022 campaigns for the house, the senate and some state offices start to gear up to full steam, there has been no talk from the liberal Marxists regarding their plans for getting out of the deep hole they’ve been digging for themselves.

Rather than getting a ladder, they’re just getting a bigger shovel.
