Over the past week or so, things have gone from bad to worse as the coronavirus media-driven panic continues to be the only 24/7 news cycle topic…but bad to worse is really a matter of perspective.

You see, to a snarky guy like me, what’s happening out there where nobody is allowed to go has become pure gold.

This is one of those “in-case-you-missed-it” sort of commentaries for those who have basically either shut off the news, or have been out protesting the trial version of communism for the past couple of weeks.

By now, I think pretty much everybody has just about had it with this whole coronavirus manufactured mess, and it is now time for some pretty plain talk, some common sense, and what may to some seem like brutal honesty.

Has it been fun while it lasted?

Well, maybe at first when people were sent home to work in their underwear, and it has been fun to make fun of various aspects of it throughout, but it is now high-time to put our pants on and get back to life as we knew it before this whole thing got blown way out of proportion.

The coronavirus, COVID-19 or the Chinese virus shouldn’t scare you. It should concern you, especially if you happen to be in a high-risk category.

What should scare the bejesus out of you is how people that hoard toilet paper for a respiratory virus are going to vote this November.

It’s easy to make fun of certain aspects of this COVID-19 media driven, and liberal weaponized outbreak of the uncommon cold, and I have done just that in previous articles. It is also easy to poke fun at the terminally inane dolts who went panic shopping for toilet paper and hand sanitizer and I have also done plenty of that.

But maybe it is now time to put a lot of the panic over the pandemic into its proper perspective and try to provide some much needed common sense to the situation.

COVID-19 for Dummies

I should like to address those amongst us who have been, for the past few of weeks, hording toilet paper. You know who you are.

We have seen you on the news and splashed about on social media with your shopping carts piled with a mountain of toilet paper in such a fashion that one would require a Sherpa to reach the summit were one so inclined to plant a flag atop Mount Charmin.

This, you claim, is because of the coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19.

COVID-19 is a RESPIRATORY illness.

For those amongst you who seem woefully unaware of what a RESPIRATORY illness is…it affects the lungs. That is the UPLOADING system, not the DOWNLOADING system. That is to say that contracting COVID-19 will not, I repeat NOT give you a case of the galloping guano however, HAD you contracted a virus with galloping guano as a symptom, to be perfectly honest, and giving due consideration to your mental state at this point you would now most likely be hoarding…

The Best Reason Yet to Vote For Trump

Over the past 5 years, we’ve heard and seen all sorts of histrionic behavior from the liberal/socialist left regarding Donald Trump, first as a candidate, and since his election.

The collective panty-wadding has been obnoxious, violent, silly, diametrically opposed to the pretend mantra of liberal tolerance, and in some cases, quite entertaining.

There were the safe space liberals who curled up in the fetal position on college campuses with their coloring books, Crayons, bottles of bubbles and their therapy puppies, but sadly, the supply chain for such items ran out when other like-minded socialists refused to continue to use their money for the collective good, and the puppies ran away.

Those were good times.

ANTIFA, which employed Nazi tactics in their effort to label Trump, and Trump supporters as Nazis ran out of steam for the most part when the socialist bus fuel pool also ran out of the support of other people’s money.

Overhyping the Underwhelming

Outside of impeachment, of which I think the inhabitants of entire planet is growing tired, not to mention the inhabitants of all other planets in the known universe, there have been two other stories in the news that have captivated the headlines.

Now before I get into those other stories, allow me to quickly clear something up for skeptics, there are inhabitants on other planets scattered about the known universe, there must be or otherwise, why would there be a Miss Universe pageant every year?

Sure, Earth wins it every year, but that’s not really our fault. For those who insist that we are alone in the universe, I would challenge you to start your own, Miss Holier-Than-Thou pageant where the entries are as limited as your minds.

Okay, that said, allow me to get into the nuts and bolts of the only stories outside of impeachment that everyone seems to care about, and frankly, few should.

The Ugliness That Is Political Correctness

Over the years, both together and separately, we have written in our respective blogs and spoken about on our RIGHT SIDE PATRIOTS radio show the insanity of “political correctness.” In fact, the very term “political correctness” is itself quite telling

To examine the abject insanity of it, the term must be separated into its two parts, and perhaps the best way to go about that is to examine it back to front starting with the word “correctness,” which basically has three definitions. First, “correctness” is “the quality or state of being free from error; accuracy,” and there’s nothing wrong in that definition. Second, “the quality of being right in an opinion or judgment” is the second definition of “correctness,” and again, that’s perfectly acceptable as a definition. But the third definition, “conformity to accepted social standards,” shows just where the definition of “correctness” goes to “hell in a handbag.”

Then there’s the word “political,” the front part of the phrase with said word having two distinct definitions. The first definition states, “in a way that relates to the government or public affairs of a country,” which seems pretty straight forward and right to the point. The second definition is also straight forward and quite accurate, as in “interested in or active in politics.” But once again it’s in the third definition where we see the real issue, and that is “motivated or caused by a person’s beliefs or actions concerning politics.”

Quid v Status…the Battle of the Quos

Obviously, liberals desperately want President Trump to be guilty of quid pro quo. They know he’s not, but that doesn’t alter their desperation driven desire for it. To that effect, liberals have been shifting the semantics of it from quid pro quo, to extortion, to bribery, and even though they have found him guilty of it, they haven’t been able to produce any evidence of it.

For the sake of clarity, allow me to provide to you the definition of quid pro quo: a favor or advantage granted or expected in return for something.

Whether or not quid pro quo is either a high crime or misdemeanor is open to conjecture. Our Founders and Framers never defined what they meant by the term, nor did they provide examples of what would qualify in such respect.

In fact, the process of impeachment, as set forth in the Constitution, was never intended to be a legal matter. Instead, it was always meant to be a political process which is why our Founders and Framers made it difficult to accomplish.

So far, throughout the inquisition against President Trump, the House’s Lack of Intelligence Committee has, behind closed doors, and in public hearings, brought forth a parade of bureaucratic “witnesses” who “witnessed” nothing to testify against the President.

During the public hearings, those of us crazy enough to have watched the debacle were treated to a badly orchestrated, and ill-conceived circular firing squad as one so-called “witness” after another did more harm to the liberal case against President Trump than they did good. But there was something that stood out, something that had it only happened once may well have been ignored as some sort of aberration, but it happened over and over again.

It continued to happen not once, not twice, but several times with each stuffed shirt bureaucrat in the hot seat. It happened because the Republicans forced it to happen, and it was brilliant.

It finally got to the point that to try and make the elephant in the hearing room invisible, democrats on that committee gave it a dismissive name. What I’m talking about is Joe and Hunter Biden’s involvement in the real corruption that should be on trial, and the meddling in our 2016 election by Ukraine.

Trump’s Only Crime…Exposed

Let’s start with the fact that the impeachment inquiry is not a real event, it’s an Adam Schiff orchestrated and scripted duplicitous abuse of power…with behind closed doors depositions being but a dress rehearsal for public hearings that are simply a man and a party on a phishing expedition looking for a crime to fit their ultimate agenda of impeaching the man they know they simply can’t beat come 2020.

And while Democrats are now foolishly reveling in what they think are “big wins” for their side regarding what in reality is a “political coup” masquerading as an “impeachment inquiry,” President Trump in the end will have the last laugh for second and third-hand hearsay will not make for a strong legal case where it matters most…as in the U.S. Senate…no matter that Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL), foolishly stated that hearsay evidence is better than direct evidence. And while hearsay might make for good soundbites on the six o’clock news and make for eye-catching headlines in mainstream and online media rags, there remains certain truths as to the why we’re at the point we’re at now what with Nancy Pelosi claiming that the House will impeach President Trump before Congress begins its Christmas recess.

And as expected the media is again downplaying the Democrats faux-pas just like they continue to downplay the “Clinton body count list”...just like they downplay the fact that neither U.S. ambassadors nor House members themselves were ever meant to set foreign policy directives. And if one thinks in those terms it also starts one thinking that maybe the trouble President Trump now finds himself in was possibly set into motion decades ago…decades ago when Bill Clinton was president…decades ago when Clinton’s foreign policy directives or lack thereof saw the first World Trade Center bombing morphing into Mogadishu which morphed into the USS Cole, which in turn morphed into Obama’s foreign policy directive of overtly and callously “leading from behind.”
