Why Gun Control Laws Don’t Work

Uvalde, Texas…a name not soon forgotten…for it was here at Robb Elementary School where a lone gunman murdered 19 children and two adults. A bloodbath that should not have happened leaves enough blame to go around so as to encompass the whole of the left’s anti-gun, anti-police agenda.

Ban guns, ban assault rifles, ban any and all firearms…repeal the Second Amendment…place “Gun Free Zone” signs any and everywhere…this is the left’s answer to everything gun related as is the “Defund the Police” movement…a movement to replace police officers with community do-gooders who think that hugging someone is the answer to rising crime statistics.

But first, regarding guns and so-called “assault rifles,” know that no amount of banning, repealing, or signage placed will stop someone hellbent on killing innocent folks. And know that nothing will stop firearms from being bought “under the table” nor will anything stop the media driven, politically generated notion that it’s guns that kill people instead of accepting as fact that “guns do not kill people, people kill people.” And until those eight words become the reality of truth, America will still bear witness to gun violence being committed against innocent and defenseless persons…children assuredly amongst them for nothing feeds into the left’s anti-gun narrative more than the death of children.

Wake Up and Speak Freely

DHS has created a Disinformation Governance Board to combat online disinformation. That should scare the ever living crap out of any American who has at a minimum, two working brain cells. It flies in the face of our 1st Amendment which sates in VERY clear language, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

A disinformation governance board directly violates our 1st Amendment as it is specifically designed to abridge the freedom of speech and the press.

Alejandro Mayorkas, the head of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that the agency he heads up had created a division that will be monitoring what people post online to seek out lies because, as he put it before a congressional hearing, “The goal is to bring the resources of (DHS) together to address this threat.”

Oh really, and what threat IS that exactly?

The Great Pretenders

A couple of weeks ago, it came to light that a couple of men had been pretending to be federal DHS agents since February of 2020.

Arian Taherzadeh, 40, and Haider Ali, both 35 years old and neither sporting an Irish name are said by the FBI to have used their false associations with the U.S. government “to ingratiate themselves with members of federal law enforcement and the defense community.”

According to the FBI an agency that has been too busy over the past couple of years investigating soccer moms as domestic terrorists now say that the two pretended to be members of the Department of Homeland Security, provided U.S. Secret Service members and a DHS employee with rent-free apartments, “iPhones, surveillance systems, a drone, a flat screen television, a case for storing an assault rifle, a generator, and law enforcement paraphernalia along with carrying  concealed firearms, DHS Investigations (HSI) “casefiles” marked “confidential,” and presented witnesses with a badges and other credentials to prove they were supposedly federal agents.

The revelation that a couple of potential REAL terrorists, although not rising to the level of danger posed by parents at school board meetings had been well-funded and pretending to be federal agents sent mainstream media yahoos into a frenzy of disbelief which forces me to ask…WHY?

What Liberals Say and What it Means

Just a week ago or so, California’s liberal Marxist Governor, Gavin Newsom was addressing the crisis of train robberies taking place around Los Angeles.

Newsom stood in front of a microphone and said, “This is not one-off. This is organized theft. These are organized gangs of people that are coming out.”

At that point, the liberal Marxist Governor felt the sudden need to correct himself by stating, “Forgive me for saying ‘gangs,’ that’s a pejorative. They’re organized groups of folks that move from site to site.”

A perjorative is defined as “expressing contempt or disapproval.” That’s an important definition to know because what Newsom said in his immediate self-correction was that he did not intend to show or express “contempt or disapproval” toward those who are breaking into trains, looting those trains and trashing the area around the tracks in Los Angeles. In other words, Gavin Newsom, the liberal Marxist Governor of California APPROVES of the actions of “organized groups of folks” moving from site to site that BREAK INTO TRAINS full of goods that other people have paid for, LOOTING those trains and leaving in their wake TONS of trash which can then easily be infested with rats and other disease-ridden vermin.

A Party Without a Platform

“Because of them, Congress was able to defeat the insurrection.”

That’s what Nancy Pelosi said on January 6th regarding the Capitol Police and the so-called “insurrection” that took place a year ago. It was clearly a case of a horse’s ass spewing bullshit.

First of all, it was the Capitol Police who by many accounts of those who were there that day that removed the barricades and opened the Capitol doors FOR the supposed “insurrectionists” and allowed them to enter the Capitol. It was also the Capitol Police who in many cases were photographed and videotaped holding open the doors and calmly watching as the “insurrectionists” made their way through the Capitol that day.

Second of all…CONGRESS was able to defeat the “insurrection?”

You Can’t Spin a House of Cards

It’s now 2022.

2021, a disastrous year by any reasonable stretch of judging such things is over and there is hope, a faint light at the far end of the tunnel. We can see it from here and all we have to do as Conservatives is not screw it up.

2021 was so bad that even Betty White died before it ended. Can you even imaging how bleak things would have looked for 2022 had she hung on for just one more day?

Yes, it is a whole new year with the same old crap in place but it is also a mid-term election year and things aren’t looking very good for blue, liberal Marxist elected officials. Their policies dominated 2021 in all the worst ways possible and as the 2022 campaigns for the house, the senate and some state offices start to gear up to full steam, there has been no talk from the liberal Marxists regarding their plans for getting out of the deep hole they’ve been digging for themselves.

Rather than getting a ladder, they’re just getting a bigger shovel.

We look forward to traveling or having guests in our own homes and all the fun, laughter and fellowship that just seems to be so needed this time of the year.

But you can’t have any of it.

Not this year.

The Red Wave Begins

So, last Tuesday’s election in Virginia came up roses for We the People and stunk like a pile of manure for liberal Marxists who are now claiming that their crap doesn’t stink.

Virginia’s Governor elect, Glen Youngkin ran primarily on issues that are near and dear to the people of the Commonwealth, and key among those issues was education. His now defeated rival, Terry McAullife said in the run-up to the election that parents should have no say in what their children are taught in schools. Youngkin pounced on that in late September and rode the red wave to an election night victory.

Since that stunning election night, liberal Marxists and their mainstream media propagandists have been running to any open microphone they can find to claim that CRT (Critical Race Theory) is a myth, that it is not part of the Virginia school curriculum and that Youngkin, and his supporters are nothing but a bunch of systemic racists for claiming CRT actually exists.

Biden – Obama’s Puppet and Useful Idiot

While what I’m about to relate may be a bit difficult to follow, all I ask is that you read this through to the end. If you do, then what’s happening in our country right now will make a good deal more sense in that the picture will become much clearer.

Let’s go all the way back to May 8th, 1986.

On that date, at the Harris Auditorium on the campus of the City College of New York, a forum was held. The forum’s panel consisted of Joyce Weinstein, Legislative Coordinator for the NYC Office of Management and Budget, somebody from Charlie Rangel’s staff, and one other person I’ll name in a moment.

The billing for the forum was, “A Community Forum on Federal Budget Cuts ‘85–‘86.” That’s important given who our nation’s president was at the time. It was President Reagan, and Reagan was proposing a reduction in government spending. Those on the forum’s panel were against those budget cuts and against Reagan’s proposed reductions in government spending.

A Thinner Thin Blue Line

What constitutes a mass shooting? By the numbers, a mass shooting is any shooting event in which four or more people are hit by bullets. Again, by the numbers, Chicago has had 212 such mass shootings in which at least four people have been struck by gunfire since 2016, and in those 212 shootings, a total of 1032 people have been shot, with 126 of them dying of their injuries.

None of that takes into account the number of shootings or deaths connected to them in which fewer than four people were hit. Those numbers skyrocket in Chicago with dozens being shot every week.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot has blood dripping from her hands.
