GUNS!!!

Hello again folks, Shadow here!  And I want to talk to you about something that is guaranteed to make liberals wet their pants out of fear and a country boy to wet his pants out of excitement!  YES, I am talking about GUNS!!!  Or rather, my experiences and observations throughout my lifetime.  Don’t worry, it won’t take too long!

My first contact with a firearm was when I was about 12.  I was in Pennsylvania with my parents visiting some friends of theirs.  Those folks were loaded and had quite the collection of weapons of various calibers.  We had a “boys outing” with my brother, my stepfather and his friend we went to go visit.  That outing consisted of shooting stuff out in the middle of nowhere.  That was when I got the chance to fire my first 22 cal rifle.  Honestly, I don’t know how well I shot, but it was an interesting experience from the perspective of a boy who was always taught that guns were bad.  Yes, I grew up in the northeast, and you know how draconian some of those states can be.  Anyway, the day I shot the rifle was the day that I realized a gun doesn’t make someone bad, and that guns themselves have no capacity for evil.

Glenn Beck, for years, has been on the receiving end of such vitriol every time he brings up Cloward and Piven or Saul Alinsky.

Fantasy World of the “Occupy Wall Street” Adult Children

The “Occupy Wall Street” adult children have listed 13 proposed demands from their website. I especially love Demand 9.

Yeah, that should work out just perfect. Nothing like a couple hundred million poor people flooding into our country at the same time! Pure Genius! And go to the link below and read their comments, it’s fantastic! It will remind you of the 6th grade debate team! Completely oblivious to the real world.

Demand One: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending “Freetrade” by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to $20 an hour.

Are You Prepared?

Ok folks, round two from the Shadow Patriot!

I am here to talk some seriousness now.  I am going to talk preparedness.  No, not the kind where you ring your house in sandbags, dig a moat and import alligators, though if you DO do that, please send me a photo!  I am not talking about the post -apocalyptic zombie preparedness either, but if you go to those lengths you are DEFINITELY prepared.  No, I am talking about preparing at least enough to weather the storm that may be coming.

What storm am I talking about?  Well, any storm.  And not just a really bad rainstorm either.  I am talking about a storm of economic proportions.  And I am not even convinced that it will get that bad, but I fear it will.  And to protect against an economic storm, I am doing a few things.

Conversations with Nutters

Ok, I am the new dog on the block, but I have known the contributors to this blog for some time now.  With much arm twisting, they FINALLY got me to come along and contribute my words to this great blog.  I do not pretend to be an expert in anything, though I am versed on a lot.  I may not come across to eloquently at times, but I promise I will answer your questions.  I welcome constructive criticism but negativity is not tolerated.  I do not subscribe to any political ideology except that of the Constitution, battered and bruised as she may be.  I have given my time to this country doing many things I can’t talk about, ever.  I held my hand up nearly 20 years ago and swore:  I, Shadow Patriot, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

I will piss you off.  I will make you laugh.  I will give you something to think about.  I may even make you like me.  But what I won’t ever do is candy coat anything.  I call it like I see it…I always have.

Conservatives need to start paying attention. Maybe this article will serve as a slap in the back of the head for some – but by and large, from coast to coast, right now, with 14 months to go before the 2012 election…

Liberals have conservatives right where they want them.

Conservatives are either mesmerized by the GOP debates and the ever revolving door of potential nominees. Who’s in, who’s out, who MIGHT get in, who MIGHT get out? How did Perry do in the last debate? Why doesn’t Huntsman just get out? Ron Paul can’t win. Ron Paul is the ONLY one who can win. Mitt’s a RINO…so is NEWT. Mitt’s leading and Newt’s the smartest guy in the room. Bachmann scored big. Bachmann screwed up.

Obama’s Economic Plan is Pure Genius!!

Yesterday, on the Sunday talking heads shows from one end of the channel spectrum to the other, Republicans lined up to tell us how the Obama plan, to be revealed today, is “Class Warfare.” At first blush, I admit that it looks like class warfare – but with sincere apologies to the likes of Karl Rove and Paul Ryan, They couldn’t be more wrong.

Today, Obama will unveil the latest segment of his plan to fix everything from unemployment and a tanked economy to the deficit and the heartbreak of psoriasis.

It’s not class warfare.

It’s a domestic kinetic action.

Obama, on the heels of announcing the$450 billion dollar American Jobs Act, which he said was completely paid for, will finally tell us HOW he intends to pay for it.

Tax hikes.

Well, don’t think of it as tax hikes…Think of it instead, as New Revenue.

Obama, Solyndra and the Spastic Monkey Approach to Lying

As the Solyndra scandal hit the news a couple of weeks ago, the Obama administration obviously knew that they were in trouble. With Obama’s polling figures sinking already, the economy in the tank, the first downgrade in our nation’s history having just been handed down, unemployment still high and for the first time in decades, a month in which not a single new job had been created, Obama could not afford a hit like Solyndra.

Obama, his administration and liberals in general have, once again, resorted to a worn out strategy.

Blame Bush.

Mt. Obama is Rumbling

As conservatives, there is a question to which we must seek an answer. Have we been wasting our time trying to bring down this current administration? Liberals will no doubt believe we’ve seen the light if we answer yes and a chorus of “I told you so” will ring loudly from the left.

So, HAVE we been wasting time and effort? It would seem that maybe…MAYBE we have. Happy liberals rejoice.

Ummm…not so fast.

We MAY have been wasting our time because it is now beginning to seem like we didn’t need to help. This administration is starting to bring itself down, crumbling before our eyes, imploding. Stand back…the debris field is gonna be huge!
