I am beyond being sick of it. I’m now fully pissed off by it. Our police have become the targets of violence and murder in the wake of the George Floyd riots.

Why?

Because one white cop did the wrong thing? That’s the justification necessary to target the police? And don’t start with the race crap here…targeting the police has not one damned thing to do with race as cops of all races have become the targets of criminals of all races.

Defunding the police departments, and shutting them down is part of the liberal agenda. Of that there can be no doubt, but the targeting of police officers for murder goes well beyond the agenda. That is not to say that liberals and liberalism is blameless in it. They aren’t. It’s the ilk of Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi who are defending the actions of the domestic terrorist group ANTIFA, and it’s the ilk of George Soros that’s paying them to do what they’re doing.

Did the liberal elite really think they could hire, bale out and defend domestic terrorists and that those terrorists would confine themselves to looting, arson and destruction of property?

Of course they knew their goon squads would take it all the way to murder, but to the liberal elite…that’s collateral damage.

By now, we’ve all heard of the murder of Chief David Dorn in St. Louis, and Officer Shay Mikalonis who was shot in the head in Las Vegas, and remains on life support. You’ve probably also heard of a handful of other cops who have been injured by the hired, bought and paid for liberal goons, but are you aware of the full scope of the targeting of police officers in the wake of George Floyd?

In Chicago alone, so far 132 cops have been injured trying to keep the peace in the Midwest Mecca of liberalism.

A cop in Albany, NY was sent to the hospital after being hit with a brick, In Asbury Park, NJ, a cop want to the hospital after being hit in the head with a rock. In Atlanta, Motor Officer Maximilian Brewer was struck by an ATV while trying to protect “protesters” from traffic. A state trooper and several Brockton police officers suffered injuries in Brockton, MA. In Buffalo, NY, Two law enforcement officers were struck by a vehicle Monday and another was run over during a demonstration in front of the Buffalo Police Department’s E-District, and in Champaign, IL, several police officers were assaulted and suffered injuries.

Oh…I’m just getting started…

In Cincinnati, an officer was struck by a bullet which lodged in his helmet. In Columbia, SC, three Richland County Sheriff’s deputies and 12 Columbia police officers were injured. An undercover Davenport police officer in an unmarked police vehicle was struck twice by gunfire in Davenport, IA. In Denver, three cops were the targets, and were injured in a hit and run. Harrisburg, PA had a pair of officers sent to the hospital by liberal goons, and in Los Angeles, 27 Los Angeles police officers sustained injuries.

But wait…there’s more…

“Protesters” were shooting at the police in Lynchburg, VA…luckily nobody was hit. Four Prince William County Police officers were injured in Maryland. In NYC, dozens of cops have been assaulted and injured. Two cops were injured in Oakdale, CA. A total of three police officers suffered serious injuries in Oak Lawn, IL. In Oakland, CA, shots were fired at police headquarters…again, it’s lucky nobody was hit, and the Philadelphia Police Department reported multiple assaults on officers.

Nope…not done yet…

Pittsburg, nine cops injured. Two Capitol police officers in Richmond, VA were injured when one was hit with a beer bottle, and the other was hit with a baseball bat. In Rhode Island, at the very least, nine cops have been injured, Sacramento, CA had seven of their finest injured, and in Salt Lake City, UT, the injury count was 21.

The cops in San Antonio, TX were pelted with rocks, bricks and bottles. In San Jose, CA, one cop with serious, and numerous cops with other injuries have been taken to hospitals. Two cops in Santa Ana, CA were hit in the head by projectiles and sent to the hospital. Roughly 50 Secret Service agents were injured near the White House. In St. Louis, aside from Chief Dorn, four other cops were shot in the downtown area. 11 police officers were injured in Washington DC, and three were injured in Wichita, KS.

Think about that and to put it into context, that grim tally was as of June 2^nd. How many more have become the targets of liberal bought and paid for goons since then?

Make no mistake, this is nothing new. The cops have been targets since the riots in Ferguson, MO and that should come as no great surprise, as that was ANTIFA’s coming out party. Since then, good cops of all colors have become the targets of such goons, and many have been ambushed…murdered while on the job. Murdered not for the color of their skin, but because of the color of their uniform.

In 2014, the thin blue line lost 51 to murder. In 2015, the number was 42. In 2016, 64 officers were shot and killed. In 2017, the grim tally was 44 that fell, and in 2018, the last year for which numbers have been compiled, the number of cops killed on the job wasn’t any better. Every one of them killed by a criminal, and a good many of them simply flat-out murdered.

Targeting ANY cop for something one rogue cop does is wrong, and as far as I’m concerned, hate crime should be attached to anyone arrested for such attacks. The actions of such criminals is domestic terrorism, and it has to stop…NOW.

Okay, enough with the staggering numbers regarding attacks against the police, and just so we’re clear, the national statistics do NOT show systemic racism BY police with the actual numbers of the killing of unarmed black people by the cops to be .0004 percent. Do your damned homework and enough already with the propaganda that black people are being slaughtered in the streets by cops. It’s a lie.

So…how do we solve the concerns over excessive force and relations between police and the public?

First of all, when something like what happened in Minneapolis to George Floyd happens, and statistics show it to be a VERY rare occurrence, don’t take to the burning and looting of businesses that had absolutely NOTHING whatsoever to do with it. If you see an issue with something, deal with it in proper perspective, and it its proper venue…court. There is no way law abiding people will ever be empathetic towards rioters, arsonists and looters.

Remember too that there’s a difference between empathy, and capitulation. If you want empathy, do NOT demand capitulation.

Second, the best way to have a positive relationship with the police is to be law abiding, productive members of society. If you don’t want the cops interacting with you, don’t give them any reason to do so, and if you are stopped by the police, and you believe wrongly so, your day in court is NOT in the middle of the street or on the sidewalk… it is in a COURTROOM…in front of a judge.

Third, if you think that policing, in other words, the policies and practices of police departments need to change, that is most effectively done from the inside, not the outside. Engaging in riots, or targeting the police for murder WILL change the way policing is done, but NOT in the way you want it to change. Rather than engaging in criminal behavior that will lead to confrontations with the police, become a police officer. You can change people’s perceptions of the cops a lot faster from a squad car than you can from a prison cell.

Fourth, before you demand others clean up their house, clean up yours. The agitators and “protestors” like to quote the fact that only 13.7 percent of the U.S. population is black, and they reason that the number of black people in prison shouldn’t be any higher than that. What they ignore that is of all crimes committed in the U.S. black people are the perpetrators 21 percent of the time, but it is much worse than that. Most black people in the U.S., in fact, the vast majority of black people in the U.S. are law abiding people, which means that the 21 percent of all crimes perpetrated by black people in the U.S. are being perpetrated by the vast MINORITY of the black population.

Start in your own neighborhoods, regardless of the predominant skin color of that neighborhood, and clean that up. From there, move on to cleaning up your own culture, whatever it is before you demand that the police clean up theirs. Lead by example, and others will follow.

Fifth, Police HAVE to deal with crime, and criminals, and if the police in YOUR city seem extreme to you, it is most likely a reflection of your city. What can you do about that? Start at the voting booth. 9 of the top 10 most dangerous, crime-ridden cities in the U.S. have been run for decades, for generations by liberals. Obviously, what those liberals you elected are doing is only working out for the criminals.

St. Louis, Baltimore, Kansas City, Memphis, Detroit, Cleveland, Oakland, New Orleans, and Milwaukee have all had liberal Mayors for decades, if not generations, and aside from a few enclaves within them, they aren’t fit places to live. There is a pretty good chance that if your city is being run into the ground by liberals who have no respect for law and order, the police departments in those cities won’t have any respect for it either. It doesn’t matter what color your skin is, if your city is overrun by crime, your police, the good ones and the bad, are overworked, and on edge. YOU need to change leadership…not just the individuals in those roles, but the party in charge.

Finally, with regard to the divide in this country which has been purposefully created by liberals, I’ll offer a few points on which to reflect.

Don’t be jumping up and down demanding equality by demanding Confederate flags be removed, and BLM flags, or gay pride flags be put up. Equality doesn’t work that way. This nation has ONE flag, fly THAT flag and RESPECT that flag and quit trying to divide Americans with your special interest flags.

Drop the damned hyphens. We’re not this, that or the other hyphenated Americans…we’re Americans…and that’s unity rather than division.

The color of anyone’s skin only matters to racists, whether it’s their skin, or somebody else’s. If anyone’s skin color matters to you…guess what?

This is a nation of laws, and the land of opportunity. Obey the laws, and seize the opportunities. You’re not entitled to anything. Earn what you want, whether it’s material things, or respect.

ANTIFA is not your friend, don’t pretend that lifetime criminals are heroes, and make your life stand for more than your death.

And last, but not least, be responsible for your own actions. Don’t blame “the system” when you do wrong. Don’t blame the cops when you get caught doing wrong. Don’t blame someone who told you that the right thing to do was wrong. It’s your responsibility to know the difference between right and wrong, and neither are due to the color of anyone’s skin.

Life is a series of choices…choose wisely.
