If someone is hell bent on killing others, they will always find a way to do it.

Richard Martinez, the father of 20-year-old Christopher Ross Michaels-Martinez who was killed in a madman’s rampage last week in Santa Barbara spewed this nonsense a few nights ago: “Why did Chris die? Chris died because of craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA… When will enough people say, ‘Stop this madness.’ We do not have to live like this. Too many people have died. We should say to ourselves, ‘not one more.'”

According to this liberal, gun free zone, anti 2^nd Amendment father, his son was killed,” because of craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA…”

Really Mr. Martinez? THAT’S how you see it???

You sir are a fool.

Your son was not killed by the NRA nor by politicians who, as you assert, are so craven as to stand with the 2^nd Amendment. YOUR son was killed by a liberal entitlement demanding madman…one Elliot Rodger…but you just can’t bring yourself to admit that the fault…the ultimate fault lies with someone, a shooter who shared your basic political philosophy, can you?

Martinez, like so many other liberals, foolishly believes that more gun laws would have kept his son alive. Martinez is but further proof that Reagan was spot on when he said…

“The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”

Richard Martinez is exploiting the murder of his own son to air his political viewpoint in the hopes that liberalism will win the day.

To plumb the depths of this foolishness, one only needs to ask one question…Are there not already laws against murder?

Of course there are, many of them relating to all manner of murders and yet, with so many such laws in place, Richard Martinez’s son was murdered because Elliott Roger, a madman, was hell bent on committing murder.

The gun he used didn’t drive itself to the IV Deli Market in the 6500 block of Pardell Road on Friday night. It didn’t aim itself. It didn’t pull its own trigger either. In fact, the gun wasn’t even Elliott Roger’s fist weapon used to commit the series of murders.

A knife was.

Elliot Roger stabbed to death Cheng Yuan Hong, 20, George Chen, 19, and Weihan Wang, 20 in his own apartment before picking up a gun and continuing his string of murders but Richard Martinez dismisses those killings to the point that he didn’t even mention them during his 45 minute address to the press.

Knives don’t fit the liberal agenda.

Elliott Roger then shot and killed Veronika Weiss, 19 and Katherine Breann Cooper, 22 outside a sorority house on the University of California, Santa Barbara campus before driving to the IV Deli where he opened fire from inside his car and killed Christopher Ross Michaels-Martinez.

Notice how that madman choose to go to a campus where no guns were allowed and the nearby deli frequented by students who didn’t carry? His would be the only gun in the gun free zone and Elliott Roger damn well knew it.

This liberal idiot, Elliott Roger was hell bent on murder NOT because he had a GUN…only his last three victims were shot…the first three were stabbed to death…but because he felt he was ENTITLED to get laid. He wrote a manifesto and posted 22 You Tube videos expressing his intentions to commit mass murder because girls had turned him down and had instead, dated other boys.

Roger was hell bent on murder because he was, at 22 years of age, still a virgin but we don’t hear Richard Martinez advocating for government mandated sex for any boy over the age of 18 do we?  

Eliott Roger’s parents had seen the videos and they called the sheriff, worried that he might carry out his threats. The sheriff’s department actually contacted Roger but they never saw the videos and concluded it was much ado about nothing.

Once again, red flags were present, ignored and the outcome was murder but according to the father of one of the victims, HIS son died last Friday night ,” because of craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA…”

To fully understand this situation, one must look at the existing conditions of where this all took place. Santa Barbara county where only 0.016 percent of the adult population is allowed to carry a permitted concealed handgun for PROTECTION. In a population base of 337,000 people that amounts to only 53 conceal carry permits.

Santa Barbara county is a virtual gun free zone as it is and every gun free zone has one very important thing in common to one hell bent on murder. It is a target rich environment.

Elliott Roger undoubtedly felt protected by this. He knew he would not meet or be challenged by others with guns that could protect THEMSELVES by shooting at HIM as he went on his rampage.

Richard Martinez blames the death of his son, not on the sick bastard who committed the murders but on the NRA and the “craven politicians” who stand up for the 2^nd Amendment and cries for more gun laws in the process but he’s dead wrong to do so.

Martinez obviously wants more anti-gun nut politicians to pass more anti-gun laws to further his and his ilk’s political agenda but that is exactly the problem.  The very ilk of politicians Martinez clamors for are the ones who have adhered to his ideology in Santa Barbara county and who, in fact, rendered it virtually impossible for the 337,000 resident there to protect themselves.

The law ABIDING people of Santa Barbara county DON’T have the legal ability to carry guns leaving a madman like Elliott Roger to commit his murder spree without like resistance. Would anyone have stopped Elliott Roger? We’ll never know but what we DO know for a FACT is that, by law, they weren’t allowed to.

What Richard Martinez wants and wants desperately enough to exploit his own son’s death to get, is MORE laws on the books from MORE of the very politicians that made his son, Christopher Ross Michaels-Martinez, nothing but a fish in a barrel.

I’m not saying that legal open or conceal carry everywhere will put a stop to all murders. That would be a foolish assumption in and of itself but what I AM saying is that it would provide a more even playing field against the scum of the earth like Adam Lanza… Seung-Hui Cho… George Hennard… James Huberty… Patrick Henry Sherrill… Jiverly Wong… Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold… Jared Loughner …George Banks… James E. Holmes… Mark Barton… Mark Robert James Essex… Scott Evans Dekraai… Robert Hawkins… Jeff Weise… Gian Luigi Ferri… Joseph Wesbecker… Carl Robert Brown and yes…Elliott Roger just to name a few.

In nearly every such case, those hell bent on murder take full advantage of the protections offered them by anti-gun nut politicians and voters to wreak their deadly rampages and, in nearly every such case, when finally faced with armed resistance by the only entities legally sanctioned to carry weapons by those same anti-gun nut politicians and voters…the police…the scum then shoot and kill themselves.

Along with the six students he killed last Friday night, Elliot Roger left 13 wounded and when the cops finally closed in on this little bastard…the ONLY civilian with a gun out there in that part of Santa Barbara killed him. Elliott Roger committed suicide.

Upon the death of his son, at the hands of a madman…Richard Martinez asked, “When will this insanity stop?  When will enough people say, stop this madness, we don’t have to live like this? Too many have died. We should say to ourselves — not one more.”

It will never stop Mr. Martinez because those is hell bent on killing others, will always find a way to do it but it will slow down when you and those of your political ilk stop electing “craven, irresponsible politicians” who, to further THEIR and YOUR ideology demand, enact and mandate the very laws that make it easier for scum-sucking bastards like Elliot Roger to brazenly murder your son and the sons and daughters, mothers and fathers and the brothers and sisters of others .

Mr. Martinez…the 13 who were wounded and the six who died, including your own son, didn’t need the protection OF your liberal ideology …obviously, they needed to be protected FROM it.
