I am constantly amazed by the abject idiocy of people who pretend to be offended on behalf of others, and engage in “cancel culture” to try and shut down what they pretend to be offended by…often times hurting their own supposed cause.

Take for instance the recent “offense” undertaken by Alesya Kafelnikova.

I know what you’re wondering…just who in THE hell is Alesya Kafelnikova?

Well…she’s a 22 year old “Instagram influencer,” and while I don’t really give a happy crap about so-called “influencers” I will stand up for them when they are being unfairly singled out. Anyway…

Alesya Kafelnikova was recently involved in a nude photo shoot posing atop an endangered Sumatran elephant in Bali. The caption on the photo read…“to love nature is human nature.” Seems sensible. Obviously eye catching, and it does draw some attention to the plight of Asian elephants.

Critics…pretending to be offended because, I suppose, they were having a slow day…piped up and criticized her saying that it was, “Yet another tragic trivialization of the majestic Asian elephant when the species is fighting for its very existence against brutal abuse in tourism and human ‘entertainment.’”

Alesya Kafelnikova apologized to anyone who viewed her actions “as vulgarity.”

There are three points I believe need to be made very clear here…first, she had nothing to apologize for as there was nothing whatsoever “vulgar” about the photo. Second, if that photo shows “brutal abuse” of the elephant…I would be more than happy to trade places with Jumbo and subject myself to that sort of brutalization. And third…regarding the fact that it was a nude photo shoot…maybe the elephant should have been wearing pants.

The plight of Asian elephants is a sad thing, and in my mind, a photo of a beautiful woman atop such a magnificent creature that draws attention to that particular endangered species without doing harm to the species is a good thing. Criticizing the model is butt stupid as she is responsible for drawing attention to what the critics want attention drawn to, and it provides a case in point to what has quickly become a metastasizing cancer in our society…

The “cancel culture.”

As I write this commentary, there are liberal Marxists out there trying to cancel any idea, any opinion and any thought, utterance or notion that does not comply with their agenda. They literally have become the thought gestapo. If you fail to bow and acquiesce to their agenda…you will be canceled.

It started a couple of decades ago as “political correctness” which should have been and was a red flag to many because of the word, “political.” One thing after another became “politically incorrect,” and people who engaged in being politically incorrect were supposed to be chastised by polite society.

Over the past couple of years, it turned into a cancer called the “cancel culture,” and rather than simply being chastised, that cancer became a political weapon of the liberal Marxists used to control both individuals, and businesses. Take Rosanne Barr as a first example…she dared to make a joke or say something the liberal Marxists didn’t like because it didn’t meet with their agenda, and her show was literally cancelled because of it.

Social media, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter have been rapidly spreading that cancer by canceling those who dare to share their opinions that are out of line with the liberal Marxist agenda. In many, many cases, social media has dug into posts from years and years ago to exert what they call, “community standards” against those with whom the agenda disagrees to bar people from posting.

Now they simply permanently remove from their platforms those with whom they disagree, and make no mistake, it’s not because of some subjective and constantly evolving “community standard” it’s because they have a liberal Marxist mandate to silence those with whom they disagree.

The mainstream media is also a super spreader of this cancer as they exert control over the information you receive via whatever they deem to be news. If it doesn’t fit their agenda…it’s NOT news…and you won’t hear or see it.

Fact checkers? Those are the ilk relied upon by both the social media and the mainstream media as an excuse to cancel what and who they disagree with. Those aren’t fact checkers…those are propaganda checkers and if what you say or post doesn’t fit their approved propaganda…guess what…you’re cancelled.

Over the past couple of years, the cancel culture cancer has cancelled such things as Elmer Fudd, and Yosemite Sam…because they carry guns. Guns, and the 2^nd Amendment don’t fit the liberal Marxist agenda so…cancelled.

Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben and the Land-O-Lakes Indian maiden got cancelled because they had depictions of people on their products which were deemed to be racist. Three great products with people of color advertising icons deemed racist? That’s the abject stupidity of the cancer on full display as now none of those products depict minorities on their products.

Obviously, President Trump was cancelled by both social and mainstream media because the liberal Marxists propagandist “fact checkers” claimed he was lying about the election being stolen, but those entities ran with the whole “Russian Collusion” and quid pro quo nonsense BOTH of which were proven to be lies without impediment.

But it goes far beyond such benign or political entities like syrup bottles, cartoon characters and a former President…the cancer that is the “cancel culture” is also trying to cancel history.

During the past year, we bore witness to the sort of thing usually reserved for third world crap-hole countries as the cancel culture in THIS country started tearing down monuments and statues that depict our nation’s history, along with demands to cancel our founding fathers. Statues of Robert E. Lee, Abraham Lincoln, Confederate monuments, and monuments related to Thomas Jefferson were but a few to be subjected to the cancer of liberal Marxist cancellation.

Like any cancer, once it metastasizes, it begins to infect every major organ. The “cancel Culture” cancer has now invaded every single organ vital to our nation, just as the liberal Marxists intended it to do. It’s in our education system…our nation’s brain. It’s in our social and mainstream media…the livers and kidneys of our nation that filter and process information. It has even invaded the heart and soul of the nation…our patriotism and sense of culture.

People are losing their ability to earn a living now due to what would, just a couple of years ago, have been considered a fleeting thought expressed to others because those thoughts fail to meet the liberal Marxist agenda guidelines.

The worst part of all of this is that it isn’t the government doing it. Not directly at least, and that is exactly how the government, now controlled by those who seek ultimate control, is getting away with it. THEY aren’t censoring people into the abyss of culture…their surrogates, the mainstream and social medias are doing it for them, and people are being convicted and punished…not by the rule of law as per our Constitution, but in the court of public opinion.

The liberal Marxists who push the cancer of the cancel culture abhor the Constitution, and prefer the squishy, politically expedient, always open to the whims of the moment, court of public opinion. Make the public afraid to express themselves lest they be cancelled, and you have written new laws based not on reality, but on mostly pretend feelings.

If you don’t wear two masks while driving your car alone, or if you don’t believe cow farts are going to destroy the planet, you’re a science denier and should be cancelled. If you dare to express yourself freely and stand up for your Constitutional rights…you will be cancelled. If you eat the wrong things or watch the wrong programs or if you don’t think that abortion on demand up to the moment of birth is women’s healthcare…you may as well pack it in because the cancer is gonna get you.

And don’t you dare get to the point of thinking that what you did or said today is fine because it fell in line with today’s liberal Marxist agenda so you can do it or say it again tomorrow, because as is always the case with the liberal Marxist agenda…the rules are subject to change faster than Joe Biden creeps up on a 10 year old girl.

Liberals…don’t go thinking that you have some sort of political immunity to the cancer of the cancel culture, because you don’t. It will come for you too…eventually…and you too will be subject to the ravages of it. It happens in every culture which institutes it, and given time, those cultures, and those who championed them in the beginning crumble into festering crapholes.

So liberals…feel free to have your photo taken atop an Asian elephant but…if that elephant isn’t wearing pants…the cancer will come for you, and your days as an “influencer” are over.
