Over the past week or so, things have gone from bad to worse as the coronavirus media-driven panic continues to be the only 24/7 news cycle topic…but bad to worse is really a matter of perspective.

You see, to a snarky guy like me, what’s happening out there where nobody is allowed to go has become pure gold.

This is one of those “in-case-you-missed-it” sort of commentaries for those who have basically either shut off the news, or have been out protesting the trial version of communism for the past couple of weeks.

I’ll get to some of the more idiotic liberal coronavirus crap in a bit, but there are a few other things that need to be put into proper perspective, so let me start with this…

Racism.

It seems, at least according to liberals, everything they don’t agree with is racist. In fact, if you’re winning an argument with a liberal, it’s a sure bet that said liberal will call you a racist. Liberals see race in everything, and 9 out of 10 times, there’s nothing racist about what they claim to be racist.

Take as a prime example…butter.

How on Earth could butter be racist? Well, Land-O-Lakes butter has been deemed racist by liberals for years because their packaging has featured the image of an Indian woman for nearly 100 years. Is the Indian woman pictured doing something demeaning? Is she portrayed in some less than human way on the packaging? No…she is, or was just sitting there. But that’s RACOIST according to liberals and apparently to Native Americans.

So, what did Land-O-Lakes do after nearly 100 years in the face of pressure from Native American liberal activists? They retooled their packaging to feature the exact same scene…but without the Indian woman.

Here’s your proper snarky perspective…

In the effort to appease liberals and Native Americans…and appease them they did as both are now claiming a victory over racism…Land-O-Lakes REMOVED the Indian…and KEPT the land.

One would have thought the Native American groups would have had reservations regarding such a move, but once the reality of that sets in, American Indian activists will no doubt start complaining that they have no representation in the dairy industry.

Next up…liberal gun control.

The date was April 19^th, 1775 when a band of nearly 700 British soldiers strode into Lexington where they were met by about 77 or so well-armed Minute Men. It was the morning after Paul Revere’s famous ride and the lighting of a lantern in the steeple of a church.

Not that 77 men had much of a chance against roughly 700 soldiers, but those patriots weren’t going to take it sitting down. The goal of the British that day was to disarm the patriots, and confiscate their guns and ammo.

Sound familiar?

The Battle of Lexington didn’t last but a few minutes, and in that brief time, 8 Americans lay dead or dying and 10 others were wounded. From there, the British moved on to Concord where they were met later that morning by HUNDREDS of patriots. While in Concord, the British did manage to destroy a good deal of the patriots military stockpiles, but the tenacity of the Minute Men was such that the British Commander ordered his troops NOT to engage the Americans directly, and beat it back to Boston.

Along the way back to Bean Town, American Patriots continually sniped at the British from behind rocks, trees and whatever other cover they could find. THAT was it, those two battles were the opening salvos of the American Revolutionary War.

Okay, here’s the proper snarky perspective…

A bunch of namby-pamby turds in red coats under the direction of a power-hungry monarch had decided to jack up our taxes, and relieve us of our guns and ammo. Our response?

We shot them.

Liberals need to learn that valuable lesson before history repeats itself.

Moving along…Kim Jong un.

First, about a week or so ago, it was being reported that Lil’ Kim was dead. Then it was reported that he wasn’t dead. After that, more reports came out that he was…you know…dead, but then on Tuesday of this week, South Korea reported that Lil’ Kim had gotten better from being dead and was in fine shape.

So, is he or isn’t he…you know…dead?

Well, it seems his personal train has been spotted by satellite parked, and stationary for the better part of a couple of weeks, which is highly unusual. It also seems that the little tyrant missed a couple of pretty big parties…one to celebrate the birth of his certainly dead grandfather, and the other that celebrated the forming of the North Diarrhea Army…neither of which he has ever missed.

There has been speculation that he died of a heart attack, or of complications from heart surgery which surly would have led to the sudden death of his heart surgeon, and there has even been speculation that rocket man was mortally wounded in a mishap at a rocket launch on April 18^th, because he missed a launch on April 19^th and he’s been to every rocket launch in North Diarrhea since becoming the head cheese there.

Now on Monday, sources claimed that a letter from rocket man is PROOF that he’s alive and well, but let’s be honest here…I just got a letter from Abe Lincoln telling me that his headache went away and he’s as fine as a frog’s hair.

So, how will we know for sure that Kim Jong-un is dead?

To answer that, we need the proper snarky perspective.

IF the little dictator’s name suddenly shows up on a Chicago voter roll as a registered democrat…he’s dead. If Andrew Cuomo claims him as a COVID-19 death, he’s dead.

If he had dirt on Hillary…you KNOW he’s dead.

And what happens IF he’s dead? Again, proper perspective is called for here. IF he’s dead, his little sister who by all accounts is more dangerous than he is, or was, would take over in North Diarrhea, and while there’s not much known about her, think of her this way…just as crazy as her brother…but with PMS.

If Kim Jong-un is really dead, he’ll leave his nukes to his sister, and his wardrobe to Hillary Clinton.

Okay…liberal lunacy regarding COVID-19, and I hardly know where to begin…

How about with little Adam Schiff-For-Brains who said in a recent interview that had President Trump been removed from office via impeachment, 50 thousand Americans would not have died of COVID-19. Schiff was on MSNBC and told the fake news interviewer, “I don’t think we had any idea how much damage he would go on to do in the months ahead. There are 50,000 Americans now who are dead in significant part because of his incompetence, because of his inability to think beyond himself and put the country first.”

Proper snarky perspective?

Had Trump been removed from office during the fake impeachment process, Pence would have become the President…and Pence is the guy heading up the administration’s COVID-19 response team so what would have changed? NOTHING. Here’s a bit of breaking news for the folks in fake news…germs neither know, nor care who the President is and those little buggers would have done nothing different had Pence been at the helm.

Next…AOC, who recently said that when the economy opens up, people should refuse to go back to work. Here, listen to her reasoning…

Proper perspective is definitely needed, and here it is…I have NO idea from what planet this twit came, but I can damn-sure guarantee you that there has NEVER been even one iota of  intelligent life on it.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said earlier this week that it is “unconscionable” that the very criminals he had released early from prison over coronavirus fears would be running amok in his city… committing new crimes.

Yep…he’s SHOCKED that some of the 1,400 criminals he released so that they would be safe have started a crime wave that makes everybody UNSAFE, and he’s even MORE shocked that some of THOSE criminals who were caught committing NEW crimes and locked up again were RELEASED again and are now committing even MORE crimes.

Proper snarky perspective?

They’re CRIMINALS…duh. And note that AOC isn’t telling recently released criminals not to go back to committing more crimes, but she IS telling soon to be reinstated workers not to go back to work.

For the love of GAWD…

And finally in the COVID-19 knot-head file we find the Governor of Michigan who said last weekend that should the protesters against the stay at home mandate continue to protest, the lockdown will be extended.

Okey-dokey…here comes the proper snarky perspective…

Whitmer, you witless waste of ear wax, you’re on the verge of making Biden sound coherent. What you’re saying is that it is okay for people to go to the store, or any other place you deem to be essential, but it is not okay to stand around outdoors. By keeping the people of your state holed up like hermits, you’re making it worse because they will never build up any natural immunity.

Here’s the question witless Whitmer won’t answer…if it’s okay to be inside the grocery store or Walmart, but fatal to be outdoors on the sidewalk, why aren’t people dropping over dead in aisles 6, 9, and 13? Why aren’t the bodies piling up in housewares?

I’ve got news for witless Whitmer and the rest of the looney liberals…if strolling up and down the aisles pushing Typhoid Mary’s shopping cart is an essential activity, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever not to stand in line for a voting booth so you can take your vote by mail ballots and shove them where you really don’t want a paper cut.

Basically, what Whitmer is telling people is that the beatings will continue until moral improves.

Look, I know people are getting sick of all the crap they’re hearing from the mainstream media, and confused over everything that’s been going on, so I hope this has helped in some way.

Sometimes…common sense is the best perspective, and a little snark never hurts either.
