Cancel culture.

It’s all the rage right now. Say something, do something, wear something, or be seen somewhere deemed inappropriate by faux liberal intellectual ilk, and you’re finished. You can lose your job, your business, your ability to appear at anything from a concert to your high school prom…and worse.

No proof needed, no evidence of wrong doing necessary.

All it takes is someone else’s pretend offense.

Cancel Culture…The New Censorship…it’s political correctness in steroids, and fascism run amok.

At the risk of offending anyone, real or pretend, your every word is now scrutinized, your every social media post is under the proverbial microscope, your manner of dress, your hair style, and your every interaction whether or not you believe those interactions to be jokes, or serious, is being held to a very high double standard by liberals.

If, on the off chance you happen to be a liberal…well, you pretty much get a free pass. Maybe a liberal here, or one there, will be punished, but by and large, and certainly if you are considered to be one of the liberal elite…you have little to worry about.

But God forbid you happen to be a Conservative…

You…are…finished.

For Halloween this year, Pamela Anderson dressed up as an Indian, and the internet lost it’s fascist mind. Cultural appropriation is what they called it. One twiiter twit after another piled on to shame Pam Anderson for dressing up like an Indian. One such twit wrote, “I hate to break the news to u Pamela but this is the quintessential cultural appropriation that people are not liking. The Native head dress. Not so cool.”

Somebody is going to have to explain to me how dressing up like an Indian for one of the 365 nights of the year rises to the level of cultural appropriation when what Poke-a-Honkey Warren did for decades…doesn’t.

Do these so-called people who troll social media all day every day just looking for something of which to pretend to be offended think they are somehow morally superior to the rest of humanity? And let’s not just limit that question to liberals, as there seem to be a certain amount of Conservatives out there engaged in similar trolling efforts telling people that unless they adhere to a certain brand of a certain religion, they will wind up going to hell…perhaps with Pam Anderson.

Personally, I have the exact same disregard for the holier-than-though right as I have for the cancel culture left, and they can all go straight to hell for all I care, and if that offended anyone…you obviously recognized yourself in those words.

This year, for Halloween, I wore what I wear every day…just my regular clothes…but what people didn’t realize is that I was actually in the most cancel culture prone costume I could think of. I was pretending to be a guy, who identifies as a woman who identifies as a man. By the standards of the left, that’s about as offensive as it could possibly be, and I’m happy to say that I got away with it. Nobody cared, but had I dressed in black face…everybody would have cared.

Rosanne Barr lost her TV show over some comment she made that the liberal elite pretended to be offended by, and while some of those same liberal pretenders now point to Jussie Smollett as an example of equal justice by social justice rules, it’s not the same thing at all. Jussie beat the rap…because he almost as black as Obama.

Dave Chappell is a funny guy. He and I probably don’t have much on which to agree politically, but he calls it as he sees it, and I can appreciate that in comedy.

In that bit, he’s making fun of Jussie, black people, gay people, the cops, white people, and himself.  Chappell is very much against the cancel culture, and that bit about Smollett is from his most recent Netflix special, Sticks and Stones. Chappell sees the left’s attempt to control every person’s every thought as perhaps the most insane thing imaginable, and he’s 100% correct.

The cancel culture is the product of butt-hurt liberals who have deemed themselves to be the morality police and demand that each and every little thing, or any person who offended their daisy-like sensibilities be done away with…and…if you disagree with them, THEY will call YOU…a Nazi.

So…when did the cancel culture begin?

The most current version of it started in 2016, near the end of the Obama regime, and was first propagated by anti-social media giant, Facebook. They call it “community standards,” and if you post something which is deemed offensive by a room full of islamists wearing diapers on their heads…you get sent off to Fascist Book jail. My friend and RIGHT SIDE PATRIOTS partner, Diane Sori, has spent almost the entire last 2 years being locked up for one thing after another…most of which she posted 6 or 7 years ago before Facebook even HAD community double standards.

But that’s neither when, nor where the cancel culture started.

Some say it goes back to a comedian by the name of Lenny Bruce, who was actually arrested over and over again for making jokes deemed offensive by politicians with their heads lodged up their asses…and some trace it back to the McCarthy hearings, which let’s face it, were in fact the template for the current witch hunts against President Trump. McCarthy was right where commies were concerned, but using fascist tactics to expose them was way off the mark.

No…I believe that the cancel culture is much, MUCH older than most people realize. In fact, I believe one can trace the origins of it all the way back to whoever made up the whole yarn about Adam and Eve. Now, before I get into how that started the cancel culture, allow me to take a crack at offending those holier-than-thou types who find it easier to blindly believe than to actually think.

The story of Adam and Eve is entertaining. As stories go, it has a lot of elements that make for salacious reading. Naked people, running about outdoors, and living like a couple of hippies at Woodstock. If one is to believe it blindly, and literally, it also contains sex, and incest…yes…incest. THINK about it…if Adam and Eve were really the very first 2 people on Earth, and they had 2 sons…without an Appalachian style family reunion…where DID everybody else come from?

Okay…here’s how the cancel culture can be traced all the way back to whoever originally spun that particular yarn…

According to the story, Adam and Eve so offended God…by eating what we now make yummy pies from…that God kicked them out of the commune, and made them wear fig leaves. I guarantee you that God was only PRETENDING to be offended. I know what you’re wondering…how could I know He was only pretending? Simple…had God really been…and I mean ACTUALLY, REALLY been offended…there wouldn’t have been a fig leaf in sight, and the only thing Adam and Eve would have been able to cover themselves up with would have been…poison ivy.

Now THAT would have taught them a lesson they would have NEVER forgotten.

So, now that we know just how far back the cancel culture goes, the next question is…how do we stop it?

That’s a simple enough question, but the answer is perhaps more multi-layered than you think. The obvious way to stop it is to ignore it, and don’t get to the point that you think it’s okay for Conservatives to call for boycotts while it’s insane for liberals to do the same. That’s why I don’t much hold with boycotts. After all, if I boycotted everything that my fellow Conservatives have insisted I boycott, I’d have to go live in a cave somewhere. While it’s true that I haven’t watched an NFL game in the past 3 years…since taking a knee during our National Anthem became a thing…I don’t officially count that as a boycott. I’m just not into cheering for a bunch of silly sons of bitches that disrespect the country that’s making them multi-millionaires.

The next thing to do to put a stop to it is to call out those who are perpetrating it, and demand that they take their own medicine.

After that…just sit back and watch as the whole cancel culture self-implodes, and it will as soon as it starts coming back around to bite liberals in the ass.

The cancel culture is just the liberal fad du jour, invented by and pushed by those who are desperate to pretend to be relevant. It’s a millennial thing…foisted upon society by a bunch of twerps who are still living in their parent’s basement and think that the world owes them everything. I’m talking about people who have run out of bubbles, who have eaten their Crayons, and whose therapy puppies have long since run away.

They are people who want socialism, don’t want to think, want the government to take care of them from cradle to grave, and don’t want to tolerate any opinion other than their own. They pretend to be offended, and even pretend to be offended on behalf of others who actually aren’t offended at all.

Take that abject idiot Rosanna Arquette as a prime example. A while back, that Hollyweird loser actually made a public apology for being born white, as if her own pasty-white skin shade was so awful it even offended her. “I’m sorry I was born white and privileged,” she wrote. “It disgusts me. And I feel so much shame.” She comes from a show business family, her mother was an actress, a poet, a theater operator, an activist, an acting teacher and a therapist. Her father was an actor, a screen writer, and a producer…and her grandfather was a comic. She’s dated a variety of rock stars, she’s on her 4^th husband, an investment banker, she lives in a mansion, and her net worth is somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 million dollars.

Trust me, that twit is only pretending to be offended by herself. The barely a “B” list actress at best, is so desperate to be thought of as relevant, she tried to cancel her own identity.

And finally, perhaps the best example of the cancel culture insanity came just a couple of weeks ago when Greta Thunberg threatened to quit Facebook of Facebook doesn’t cancel her critics. I am not making this up. That obnoxious sock-puppet is so offended by people that deploy facts to counter her end of the world rhetoric, that on October 27^th, she actually demanded that Facebook silence her critics…which includes…NASA.

Well…suck it up buttercup…you’re not that special. You’re gallivanting around the world reciting a prepared speech and trying to pass off BS as fact and in the process, your ANTIFA-loving socialist parents have made you a public figure. If ya can’t take the heat, stay out of the global warming snake oil business.

The way I see it, the only thing that needs to be cancelled is the cancel culture, and that is exactly why we have the 1^st Amendment.

Now…if you don’t like that one…perhaps I can interest you in our 2^nd Amendment.
