Living in a world full idiots is one thing. Living in a world run by abject idiots is something else altogether.

By now, we all know how liberals feel about guns. They detest them. They don’t want you to have them, and if you do have them, liberals don’t want you to be able to keep them, and they demand that you get them registered so that they will know where  you and your guns live, thus making it easier for liberals to come and get them.

There’s a second reason for why liberals want you to register your guns. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they intend to create a gun owner website…like the sex offender websites…where good lilt liberals can visit to see where not to buy a house, and where bad little liberals can map out which houses to rob.

A couple of weeks ago, some liberal jackass walked into the municipal building in Virginia Beach, Virginia and opened fire killing 12 people.

There was something special about that building too…

It was a gun-free zone, and had been deemed so by idiot liberals who made sure that this particular jackass would be the only person in the building with a gun.

The story was huge for about 5 minutes, and then it evaporated.

Why?

Because the jackass in question bought his guns legally, meaning he passed background checks that liberals insist will prevent this sort of thing.

Facts are stubborn things. Facts have no emotions. Liberal idiots keep telling us that gun-free zones protect us but…

It’s not working out that way, and here’s the proof.

Between 1950 and May, 2018, a full 97.8 percent of all mass shootings in the United States took place in places where guns are not allowed, and that fact…stubborn as it is…comes from the Crime Prevention Research Center.

Those stubborn facts don’t change very much when you narrow the timeline either. The Crime Prevention Research Center narrowed that time frame down to mass shootings in the United States between January, 1998 and January 2014, and found that 96.2 percent of all mass shootings took place in places where guns are not allowed.

There are two basic reasons for this.

First, no matter how butt-stupid any given bad guy with a gun is, the overwhelming majority of them know, without an inkling of doubt, that in a place that doesn’t allow guns, they will be the only person there with a gun…and second…they know that if they’re the only person there with a gun…it’s not a gun-free zone…it’s a target-rich zone.

Honestly, I don’t expect liberal idiots to grasp that concept, so let me try to paint them a picture they might understand. Let’s say you want to see a whole bunch of butterflies. Liberals like butterflies. Where are you going to go to see a whole bunch of butterflies? At the city dump? You sure don’t see a whole lot of butterflies at the city dump do you? There’s a reason for that. City dumps smell like crap, and butterflies aren’t attracted to the smell of crap.

On the other hand, if you go to a flower garden, chances are you’ll see a lot of butterflies. Why? Because most flowers don’t smell like crap.

Putting this rather odd analogy into context…if you want to see a bunch of sitting ducks…don’t go to a gun show. However, if sitting ducks are just what you’re looking for…go to a gun-free zone and viola…there they are.

Note to liberals…mass shooters are bad guys with guns, and they are looking for sitting ducks, which aren’t really waterfowl, but people who are defenseless targets, and that is exactly the sort of sitting ducks one finds in any gun-free, target-rich zone.

Let me now cite another recent example of liberal idiocy where guns are concerned.

Last week, in Statesville, North Carolina, a Sheriff’s Deputy took his lunch break to drive over to the Kay Jewelers to pick up the engagement ring he was having sized for the young lady he intends to marry. The manager of that Kay Jewelry store wouldn’t let the Deputy inside the store…because he was wearing his service gun.

The store has a no guns policy.

The Deputy explained that he was on his lunch break, and that it would be illegal for him to leave his service gun in his parked car. The manager didn’t give a happy crap about that and didn’t allow the Deputy in to pick up the ring.

Here’s the thing. There are all sorts of stores in the mall. Kay’s Jewelers sells lots of very, very expensive things that are worth lots, and lots of money. Other stores in the mall sell lots of really, really cheap things that aren’t worth much money at all. Now a bad guy with a gun, intent on stealing things from a store in the mall at gunpoint has a couple of choices. The bad guy could go to the store that sells crap for a couple of bucks and make off with tens of dollars-worth of merchandise or…

The bad guy could go into Kay Jewelers to steal all sorts of expensive jewels and gold and make off with hundreds of thousands of dollars-worth of merchandise. Now which store do you think an enterprising armed robber is going to hit? Then, ask yourself this…is that bad guy with a gun going to hit the Kay Jeweler store while an armed Sheriff’s Deputy is standing there at the counter?

Foregoing what would most likely been the safest 15 minutes of her day, that particular Kay Jeweler manager has been fired, because someone at corporate apparently knows the value of a good guy with a gun.

As a final example of idiots with regard to guns, let me point out what happened a few weeks ago in Tecumseh, Nebraska.

One night, at about 10:45pm, two brothers, Levi and Colton Bridgewater, 20 and 26 years old respectively, were driven by their daddy, 50 year old Kenneth Bridgewater to the home of Ray Brown with whom the lads had some sort of beef.

When they got to the house of Ray Brown, the Bridgewater boys, being idiots, started shouting threats against Ray Brown, and then they tried to force their way into Mr. Brown’s home. They claim they were there to beat up Mr. Brown, but…they were armed.

Now Mr. Brown did not have a “gun-free zone” sign on his house, and apparently, Mr. Brown is someone who holds our 2^nd Amendment in high regard because he too was armed.

While the brothers Bridgewater tried to force their way into the Brown residence, Mr. Brown did what good guys with guns do to bad guys with guns. He shot both the idiots, and while he didn’t kill them, when an officer responding to a call of shots fired arrived, he found both the Bridgewater boys laying half on the porch, and half way into the house while dear ol’ daddy stood on the porch yelling and screaming threats.

Dear ol’ daddy Bridgewater is now charged with making terroristic threats, burglary, attempted assault, obstruction of a peace officer and other charges of which if  you ask me should include swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool and spawning.

Had Mr. Brown lived in a gun-free zone, chances are, he’d be dead right now. As it is, 3 idiots are in jail, 2 of which were perforated by a good guy with a gun.

To really understand this, let’s look at 2 cities, Chicago, and Houston. Both cities have roughly the same population…between 2 and 3 million people. Both have about the same average household income, around 38,000 bucks. The racial demographics are reasonably close…39% black to 24% black, 30% Hispanic to 44% Hispanic, both are at 6% Asian, and both hover around 25-30% white.

Here’s where things start to change. Chicago has a police force of 13,500 while Houston has only 5,318 cops. Chicago has absolutely no dedicated gun stores, while Houston has 184. Chicago has absolutely zero other places that sell guns, while Houston has somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,500 such other stores.

Liberals…you had better sit down for this last, stubborn fact…

Chicago, the gun-free, target-rich zone had 1,806 homicides in 2012, while Houston, a gun-rich, target-poor zone had…just 207.

The point to all of this is…guns aren’t the problem. Bad people and liberal idiots…there’s your problem right there. Rather than passing laws against guns, and insisting that guns be registered…how about we start registering liberals so good people know what neighborhoods not to move into? That seems like it makes more sense.

And while we’re at it, how about we do something about banning target-rich zones by doing away with gun-free zones? Those places are magnates for bad guys with guns. I’m sure that when some bunch of free-range liberal idiots decided to slap the “gun-free zone” sign on that municipal building in Virginia Beach, Virginia, it made all the liberal idiots feel real safe, and real good.

Idiots always think that the bad guys will obey the signs, and obey the laws, but being a bad guy means by definition that you don’t follow the rules. The 12 people in that building in Virginia Beach were good people. They followed the rules. They obeyed the sign, and none of them brought a gun to work in that gun-free zone. By the time that the good guys with the guns showed up, 12 sitting duck targets were dead.

So here’s the bottom line. Liberal idiots can gnash their collective teeth and wad their collective panties all they want. The 2^nd Amendment means what it means, says what it says, and the last thing it says is, “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Guns don’t need any more regulation, but people do, and maybe the best way to start that process is to find a way back to that point where personal responsibility was standard operating procedure. The biggest problem with liberal idiots is that they’re always trying to find something else to blame rather than affixing the blame where it belongs. They blame the guns, and excuse the people who used the guns, saying it was something else, some outside force or circumstance that left those people with no other options. That’s a boatload of crap.

Liberal idiots wouldn’t blame the devil himself for starting a fire in the bowels of hell.

They’d blame global warming.
