The fake news mainstream media propagandists are at it again, this time going after Florida gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis and trying to label him a racist.
True to form, any time liberals are losing an argument on merit, they cry “racism” and hope that the mere accusation is enough to brand their opponent as unworthy of the position.
Last week, DeSantis won the Republican nod in the primary to run against liberal, and socialist, Andrew Gillum who as the Mayor of Tallahassee, Florida has an abysmal record regarding both the economy and crime.
After his primary victory, DeSantis was doing an interview with Fox News when he made a comment that liberals, and his opponent, who happens to be black, seized upon as racist.
Here’s how the liberal fake news mainstream media is portraying it…
“One day after winning the Florida Republican gubernatorial primary, Rep. Ron DeSantis is facing backlash for saying the state should not “monkey this up” by electing his African-American opponent, Andrew Gillum.”
That was from an NBC website but all the fake news mainstream media is taking the same approach. To be clear, DeSantis did NOT say what they are insinuating he said but most people don’t pay attention to the quotation mark placement.
That same site went on to write, “You know, he is an articulate spokesman for those far-left views and he’s a charismatic candidate,” DeSantis said. “The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting the state. That is not going to work. That’s not going to be good for Florida.”
Again…not what is, and what is NOT contained in those quotation marks…and while you’re at it…what’s left out of the statement made by the fake news mainstream media is what DeSantis said BETWEEN those quotation marks.
The reason they left out the context for the “The last thing we need to do is monkey this up…” part of the statement, is because had they included it, they would have absolutely no standing whatsoever to make their baseless claim of “racism.”
Here is the statement, in context, directly from the Fox News interview…
That part regarding economic success and low crime rates brought about by Republican leadership in Florida…THAT is what DeSantis thinks shouldn’t be “monkeyed up”…as in the last thing Florida voters need to do is throw a monkey wrench into what has been providing success to the state of Florida.
Note too that OF his opponent, DeSantis called him both articulate and charismatic…not a slight in the least…but of the state of the state of Florida…he used “monkey this up” as a turn of phrase regarding or related to not MESSING it up…not as a “racial” attack against his opponent.
That said, and in context, are we all now supposed to believe that anything that includes the word “monkey” is racist?
Can we still use a “monkey wrench” without being accused by liberals and their propagandists of being “racist?”
Can kids on playgrounds still climb on “monkey bars” without being accused of “racism” and crawling on black people?
Can zoos from sea to shining sea still have “monkey exhibits” without being accused of inviting zoo goers of standing around looking at black people in cages?
Where does this nonsense end?
To that point…last week, Odell Beckham Jr. signed a 5 year, $95 million dollar deal with the NY Giants and then said in an interview that he feels like a zoo animal.
Nobody claimed THAT was racist.
The fake news mainstream media uttered not a single disparaging word over Odell’s turn of a phrase, nor did anyone in the mainstream media throw their own poop when OBAMA used a monkey term during one of HIS speeches.
Let’s get back to Beckham Jr…what sort of zoo animal would Odell Beckham be if he WERE a zoo animal?
Because I made the image on the left, there can be little doubt that liberals will call ME a “racist” but to do so, they would have to do the same thing to me that they are doing to Ron DeSantis, and take it completely out of context. I’m not the one comparing Odell Beckham Jr. to a monkey…HE compared HIMSELF to a monkey.
The fact that both he and the monkey in the image are sporting the same hair style is just icing on the image cake.
Is anyone allowed to engage in “monkey business” anymore without being slammed by liberals for some sort of “cultural appropriation” as some sort of “racist?”
If you should happen to say that something…anything is as funny as a “barrel full of monkeys” will you be accused of wanting to put black people in a barrel and laugh at their antics while they’re in there?
Will we ever again be allowed to savor “monkey bread,” the delectable cousin of the cinnamon roll without the liberal label of “racism?”
Is “monkey see, monkey do?” Now suddenly “racist?”
We used to be able to say that its “cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey.” Can we still use that phrase sans a “racist” label from liberals?
Can ANYONE be a “monkey’s uncle” anymore?
Can we “monkey” with anything in a half-assed effort to fix that thing?
Is anyone allowed, ever again, to “get the monkey off his back?”
Can we “make a monkey” of someone, be a “grease monkey,” “not give a monkey’s ass,” be a “code monkey” in the IT department, go “ape shit” over something or “spank the monkey” any more without some bunch of liberals calling us all “racists?”
If not…they can “stick it where the monkey keeps its nuts,” because they’re acting “like monkey’s humping a football.”
Here’s a real conundrum for liberals…Ben and Jerry’s…a liberal company if ever there was one…makes “Chunky Monkey” ice cream. Are THEY a bunch of racists over there at Ben and Jerrys? Is the ice cream ITSELF racist?
And what of the “three wise monkeys,” see no, hear no and speak no evil? Are they now forbidden?
Sure, those are all well-known often used and in some cases age-old saying, phrases or idioms related to monkeys…not at all racist and most liberals would bristle at the notion that I’m even asking such questions but…guess what?
To “monkey up” something is ALSO a time-worn turn of a phrase or idiom which means…”To hack together for a particular task, especially a one-shot job. Connotes an extremely crusty and consciously temporary solution.”
Now then…with that in mind, listen again to the exact words of Florida gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis’s statement that has liberals and the fake news mainstream media all up in arms…
DeSantis is saying that what Florida most certainly does NOT need in the midst of economic success is some crusty hacked together temporary solution TO that success. There was nothing whatsoever racist about it in any way, shape or form.
So, why is the mainstream media monkeying up racism this way? Because they’re losing the debate on merits. It’s simple really,,,when one compares the merits of the two platforms regarding the Florida governor’s race, Gillum is adhering to a socialist ideology, a socialist platform and a socialist agenda…and socialism has been an abject failure everywhere, and every time it has ever been implemented.
On the other hand, DeSantis is adhering to Conservative principles…a Conservative less and/or smaller government platform, a less taxes is a better policy, and a Conservative pro-business, pro economic growth ideology which has worked everywhere, and every time it has been implemented.
None of this is about race…the color of anyone’s skin…what it IS about is what has been working for the state of Florida, and what will continue to work for the state of Florida.
On the merits, Gillum and his party of socialists masquerading as liberals, are losing the debate…and whenever a liberal is losing the debate on the merits of their argument, they innately cry racism. It’s the last straw, connected to nothing, at which they can grasp and the first thing they can think of in any moment of campaign desperation.
Here’s the thing, and I’ve said this before…if in the bubble in which you live, you think of skin color from the moment you wake up in the morning until the minute you go to bed at night…and you relate everything you see or hear to race…well guess what?
YOU’RE the racist.
