Ross Barkan of The Guardian has called Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “the future of the democratic party.” In fact, in a recent piece, Barkan said of Ocasio-Cortez, “Ocasio-Cortez is an unabashed leftist, supported by the Democratic Socialists of America and numerous progressive organizations. She ran on a platform of Medicare for all, abolishing Ice and a federal jobs guarantee. She was unafraid of calling out corporatism and capitalism.”

Tom Perez, the Democratic National Committee Chairman said that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “represents the future of our party.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the woman who won the NY primary over liberal incumbent Joe Crowley, and she is an unapologetic, unabashed socialist. Ocasio-Cortez is also running on a platform of free everything for everybody…

Typical of a socialist.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is also now on record as saying that the way to pay for free everything for everybody is to jack up taxes on rich people…jack our corporate tax rate back up…and institute some new taxes such as a carbon tax.

Typical of any liberal or socialist.

You see, to any garden variety liberal, our taxes just aren’t high enough, and we simply don’t have enough taxes…we need to jack up beyond bejesus the taxes that are already in place, and fabricate some new things to be taxed. Once that is done…everybody can have everything for free.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is also running on…get this…a federal jobs guarantee program. And just exactly what IS a federal jobs guarantee program? Well…that would be a living wage for anybody who wants a living wage whether or not they have a job…guaranteed by the federal government.

I simply can’t begin to tell you why I am so delighted to hear that Ocasio-Cortez is the future of the democratic party from both a member of the liberal propaganda arm of the democratic party, and from the head of that party…but I’ll try.

What the media, and the DNC are saying is that the future of their political party is built upon a political ideology, and an economic model that has never once succeeded anywhere it has been implemented. They are, in fact, telling their voters that the future of their party is hell-bent on abject failure.

Now one would think that any such socialist candidate who is advocating such nonsense would have studied the ideology inside and out, from front to back and sideways in both directions…however…had Ocasio-Cortez or any other socialist advocating knot-head actually done their homework, there are a few things they would know about socialism that they apparently don’t.

For instance…

The only money the government has to spend, and I don’t give a happy damn whether it is your local, state or federal government, is money they take from people who work for a living…and the harder those working people work, hence the more money they make, the more money goes into the government coffers as a basic rule of thumb.

Now then…if people are guaranteed a living wage whether or not they work…paid for by the government…why would people work to earn a wage? The answer  is stunning to liberals and socialists…common sense to Conservatives…they wouldn’t. Why work if you are guaranteed a living wage for NOT working?

Therefore…if less people choose to work, because working for a living isn’t just hard…it takes up a lot of what could be spare time devoted to having fun…the government would be taking in less and less money all the time.

That means that in no time at all, the government would run out of other people’s money and nobody would be making a guaranteed living wage…nobody’s healthcare would be free anymore, nobody’s college education would be free anymore, and in fact, nobody would be getting anything for free at all.

What you would have in short order is the only absolute promise made by socialism that socialism can keep…equality…as in everybody would be equally destitute.

Ocasio-Cortez has been calling for Medicare for all…which she got from Bernie Sanders…and she believes just a couple of tax hikes will be able to pay for it. Well…a new study now indicates that the Medicare for All plan she is pushing would actually cost $32.6 trillion over 10 years.

What this shows is that Ocasio-Cortez either has no idea what her brand of socialism will cost this country, or that she does know, and she’s lying about it. Neither scenario reflects well on what the DNC is claiming to be the future of their party.

Here’s the thing regarding Ocasio-Cortez that nobody else seems to want to talk about, certainly not members of the mainstream media who are making her their new champion…

During the 2016 election cycle, Ocasio-Cortez was an organizer for Bernie Sanders and it now becomes obvious that as a campaign platform, she’s carpet bagging Bernie Sanders.

There is no part of her campaign to this point, no plank on her platform that didn’t come directly from the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign in 2016. It looks for all the world as though Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t have one original thought, one original idea or one original agenda item that Bernie didn’t push out there as a trial balloon in 2016.

What it appears that Ocasio-Cortez has done is to simply adopt, without question or study, each and every idea Sanders had and repackage it in the guise of someone much younger, female, and a minority in the hope that nobody would notice.

Ocasio-Cortez has been making the rounds of talk shows and mainstream media appearances playing the glass ceiling minority card at every opportunity. She calls herself just a Puerto-Rican girl from the Bronx…and while that much is true of her early years and her formative years…it certainly isn’t true today.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez today hails from Yorktown Heights in Westchester County…one of the most wealthy enclaves in the entire state of New York where the median net worth per household is $1,192,838.

The mainstream media’s Washington Post, in an article championing Ocasio-Cortez called Westchester County in which Ocasio-Cortez lives, a middle-class area…something no doubt Ocasio Cortez would like everyone to believe, but here are the facts…

Westchester County NY is the 8^th wealthiest county in the United States, and has the “highest average incomes among the wealthiest one percent of residents.” Also, according to the Economic Policy Institute, “the county’s average annual income of the top one percent is a staggering $4,326,049.”

Furthermore, According to USA.com, “the town’s population is 81 percent white, and median household income is $96,413 – nearly double the average for both New York state and the nation, according to data from 2010-2014.”

Remember who we’re talking about here is the little Puerto-Rican girl who wants you to believe she is intrinsically tied to the Bronx when she actually lives in one of the wealthiest places in the country while campaigning on an agenda of soaking the rich by jacking their taxes into the stratosphere to make everybody equally poor.

All Ocasio-Cortez is doing is what liberals and socialists always do…she’s making a bunch of false promises, knowing the truth all the while, hiding her true personal financial situation and usurping someone else’s popular agenda based on social media exposure.

Liberals are claiming that Conservatives are scared to death of Ocasio-Cortez. Nothing could be further from the truth. What scares us as people who do their homework and know the truth is that so many millennials in this country have the combined IQ of a bag of door knobs.

Too many millennials have been so propagandized by their liberal and socialist indoctrinators, and lied to by the mainstream media that they actually believe the crap that’s being fed to them non-stop from kindergarten through college.

Sure, socialism of the type Ocasio-Cortez is talking up looks good on paper…until that paper is a spreadsheet. When one starts adding up the costs of everything Ocasio-Cortez is running on, the cost is not only staggering, it is, in fact, unsustainable even in the short-run…not to mention the long-term devastation to which it would lead.

Here’s a question any liberal or socialist who is citing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as their champion, or the future of the democratic party doesn’t want to answer…if capitalism is so damn evil, and socialism so great…why is it that as a capitalist country we are financially propping up so many socialist or formerly socialist countries around the world with a combination of military and humanitarian aid?

Take Ehtiopia for instance, where in 2016 the U.S. gave $976 million dollars in mostly humanitarian aid along with some military aid. Take Egypt as another example where in 2016 we sent $1.6 billion dollars of mostly military but some humanitarian aid. South Sudan reaped some $614 million dollars in U.S. aid mostly for humanitarian needs and Syria received $648 million virtually all of which was humanitarian aid.

Afghanistan in 2016 got $4.2 billion dollars from our capitalist country, Iraq got $4.3 billion from our capitalist country.

Again…if capitalism is so damn evil, why is the greatest capitalist nation in the world sending so much foreign aid to countries whose economies have collapsed under socialism?

As little as Ocasio-Cortez knows regarding world economics, she knows even less about the world stage. Watch as she displays the depth of her knowledge about the Middle East…

And finally, as it relates directly to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez…

She is Puerto-Rican of descent on her mother’s side, and have you looked at Puerto Rico lately? It’s a mess and that’s an understatement.  If Ocasio-Cortez wants to see her brand of socialism in action, she needs to look no further than Puerto Rico where the socialist/welfare state policies are the main reason that country is in the dire economic straits it is in.

Just 3 years ago, Puerto Rico Gov. Alejandro Garcia Padilla said his island’s economy was in a “death spiral.” The problem is that because of entitlement spending, and Puerto Rico’s socialist welfare policies, the people there have done the math and discovered that they can live on the dole, rather than working for a living.

Under the U.S. umbrella, Puerto Rico has become exactly what Ocasio-Cortez wants our entire nation to become…a welfare state…and if it wasn’t for their economy being propped up by the U.S. it would have collapsed years ago

The Reason I am delighted to hear from the mainstream media and the head of the DNC that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the future of the democratic party is because with that statement, the party and their propaganda arm are admitting that they have no agenda, no discernable platform, no core values and no ability to come up with such.

All they have is the hollow promise of free candy and a shill who is willing to be used as a puppet to lure an entitlement generation of millennial morons who haven’t a clue how things work into the voting booth like lemmings to become the subjects of the government.

The task before us as Conservatives isn’t defeating Ocasio-Cortez…it is exposing who and what she really is and the abyss her puppet masters are trying to fundamentally transform America into.

Ocasio-Cortez isn’t the future of the democratic party…she’s just their latest façade.
