I had such high hopes for Netanyahu’s speech before the joint session of Congress yesterday…such high hopes.

They were not realized…they were exceeded tenfold.

It was a speech for the ages…a speech not just for the Members of Congress, not just for the American people but a speech for the civilized world. Prime Minister Netanyahu came to Washington and delivered the goods in a way that made THE most compelling argument against Obama’s ‘deal’ with Iran imaginable.

Netahyahu outlined the specifics of that ‘deal’ that are out there and free game for anyone to look up online, making sure not to divulge any classified information. This served two purposes…first, to put the information regarding Obama’s deal on the table in an open forum before a worldwide audience and second, it brilliantly outlined for the whole world to see, the ulterior motives OF Obama.

The Obama ‘deal’ would allow Iran to continue on their way toward nuclear weapons…to continue to employ most of their current centrifuges in order to refine nuclear weapons grade material and to lift sanctions in a decade’s time thus freeing Iran to put their nuclear weapons program into high gear and build an enormous stockpile of the most devastating weapons on earth.

Such a ‘deal’ would only delay the time frame for Iran to possess nuclear weapons…

Not stop them from possessing those weapons.

In making these points, Netanyahu also left no doubt whatsoever as to Iran’s tentacles of terrorism and he pointedly contrasted our American Constitution with the Constitution of Iran.

“I’m standing here in Washington, D.C. and the difference is so stark. America’s founding document promises life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Iran’s founding document pledges death, tyranny, and the pursuit of jihad.”

Netanyahu then, without naming names because he didn’t have to, threw Obama under the buss by chastising the ‘partnership’ between Obama and Iran in the fight against ISIS…pointing out that the only reason Iran is against ISIS is because both are competing to see who gets control of the Islamic world.

“Now, this shouldn’t be surprising, because the ideology of Iran’s revolutionary regime is deeply rooted in militant Islam, and that’s why this regime will always be an enemy of America.”

“Don’t be fooled. The battle between Iran and ISIS doesn’t turn Iran into a friend of America.”

“Iran and ISIS are competing for the crown of militant Islam. One calls itself the Islamic Republic. The other calls itself the Islamic State. Both want to impose a militant Islamic empire first on the region and then on the entire world. They just disagree among themselves who will be the ruler of that empire.”

“In this deadly game of thrones, there’s no place for America or for Israel, no peace for Christians, Jews or Muslims who don’t share the Islamist medieval creed, no rights for women, no freedom for anyone.”

And then he lowered the boom on the “partnership’ Obama has been so very proud of…

“So when it comes to Iran and ISIS, the enemy of your enemy IS YOUR ENEMY.”

The heart and soul of Netanyahu’s speech was a warning to the world regarding the bad ‘deal’ Obama seeks with Iran and on Monday, knowing full well that Netanyahu would speak the truth, Obama took one last stab at discrediting the Prime Minister in an interview with Reuters…

“Netanyahu made all sorts of claims. This was going to be a terrible deal. This was going to result in Iran getting 50 billion dollars worth of relief. Iran would not abide by the agreement. None of that has come true. It has turned out that in fact, during this period we’ve seen Iran not advance its program. In many ways, it’s rolled back elements of its program.”

Obama was, of course, lying.

Obama’s ‘deal’ allows the further enrichment of nuclear material but by the time Obama took office in 2009…the UN security Council had completely banned such enrichment by Iran and Netahyahu had preciously claimed that Iran would receive $20 billion in eased sanctions…not $50 billion and that is exactly where we stand today…with Iran having been granted $20 billion in eased sanctions.

Obama also lied regarding Iran abiding by the terms of the agreement so far…they have, in fact, violated that agreement not once, not twice…not three times, not four times but on five occasions.

1. Trying to buy equipment for the plutonium reactor at Arak, breaking the commitment to suspend work.
2. Feeding uranium hexafluoride gas into a plant where it had agreed to suspend nuclear enrichment.
3. Withholding camera footage of nuclear facilities, defying the International Atomic Energy Agency.
4. Testing new IR-8 centrifuges, advancing its enrichment program and making cheating much easier.
5. Exporting more energy than allowed under the interim agreement, blunting residual sanctions.

And the only repercussions faced BY Iran for these violations has been for Obama to extend the terms of that agreement twice.

And if you have any lingering doubts as to whether or not Obama’s planned ‘deal’ is a horrible deal…Netahyahu cleared that up for the whole world to hear by highlighting the two major consessions TO Iran contained in the ‘deal.’

“The first major concession would leave Iran with a vast nuclear infrastructure, providing it with a short break-out time to the bomb. Break-out time is the time it takes to amass enough weapons-grade uranium or plutonium for a nuclear bomb.”

“But the second major concession creates an even greater danger that Iran could get to the bomb by keeping the deal. Because virtually all the restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program will automatically expire in about a decade.”

“So you see, my friends, this deal has two major concessions: one, leaving Iran with a vast nuclear program and two, lifting the restrictions on that program in about a decade. That’s why this deal is so bad. It doesn’t block Iran’s path to the bomb; it PAVES Iran’s path to the bomb.”

Proving Netanyahu’s point, yesterday…Iran REJECTED that part of the deal which would have ‘frozen’ some of their nuclear activities for the next ten years and called that requirement within the Obama ‘deal’ “UNACCEPTABLE” thus showing hat they have no intention whatsoever of even slowing down their march toward nuclear weapons.

But the Prime Minister was not without solutions when he entered the Congressional Chamber. He offered three common sense solutions that Obama refuses to put on the table for in those solutions is contained the only viable way to hold one of the most aggressive sponsors of terrorism accountable.

“First, we can insist that restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program not be lifted for as long as Iran continues its aggression in the region and in the world.”

“Second, (Iran must) stop supporting terrorism around the world.”

“And third, Iran must) stop threatening to annihilate my country, Israel, the one and only Jewish state.”

“If Iran changes its behavior, the restrictions would be lifted. If Iran doesn’t change its behavior, the restrictions should not be lifted.”

The democrats who ran like scalded dogs and refused to attend the Prime Minister’s speech…MORE THAN 50 OF THEM…made one thing very clear…they stand with Iran and on the side of Islamic terror and the elimination of Israel as this ‘deal,’ Obama’s ‘deal’ with Iran will only protect Islam’s goal of a completed caliphate.

Netanyahu, the world’s last great statesman was too diplomatic to say it so allow me…

Obama is an Islamist who has made it his personal goal to aid and abet the barbarians of the 7th century to acquire THE most devastating weapons of the 21st century and his hatred of Netanyahu and Israel are the sum total for his refusal to even meet with the Prime Minister and the excuse for those in his party who either did not attend or walked out to do so.

If Iran is our enemy, and they most certainly are…and this proposed Obama ‘deal with our enemy is completed…that Obama himself is an enemy of the United States and should be arrested for treason as he is actively seeking the destruction of our greatest ally in the Middle East and arming an enemy…OUR enemy…who would think nothing of turning their weapons against US as soon as they have that capacity.

Netahyahu, though he didn’t call out Obama by name, knows this is true and near the end of his speech, he left no doubt at all that Israel will do what Israel MUST do.

“This is why — this is why, as a prime minister of Israel, I can promise you one more thing: Even if Israel has to stand alone, Israel will stand.”

Mr. Netahyahu…while you are well aware that Obama will NOT stand with you or with Israel…“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction,” neither you nor Israel will stand alone…not as long as there is breath to be had by those who love freedom, democracy and justice and who abhor the barbarianism and brutality, suppression and tyranny of Islam.

Mr. Netanyahu…I will stand…as an American patriot and a Christian…with Israel.
