Just a few days ago, U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael Fisher, issued a NEW DIRECTIVE called, “Use of safe tactics and techniques.”

Before I get into it…Allow me to bring up something which, on first blush, would seem to be totally unrelated.

Free-Range Chickens.

Those are chicken dinners running amok without any supervision…Free to roam fruited plains from sea to shining sea.

They are not to be confused with SMART chickens which, were they really, wouldn’t be caught dead in the frozen foods section at your local market.

Now then, back to the NEW DIRECTIVE as issued by the U.S. Border Patrol.

It is an engraved invitation for “FREE-RANGE ILLEGAL ALIENS” that permits them to RUN AMOK without fear of being rounded up any time soon.

Here are the lily-livered details…

(1)    In accordance with CBP’s current Use of Force policy, agents shall not discharge their firearms at a moving vehicle unless the agent has a reasonable belief, based on the totality of the circumstances that deadly force is being used against an agent or another person present; such deadly force may include a moving vehicle aimed at agents or others present, but would not include a moving vehicle merely fleeing from agents. Further, agents should not place themselves in the path of a moving vehicle or use their body to block a vehicle’s path.

But wait, there’s more…

(2)    Agents should continue, whenever possible, to avoid placing themselves in positions where they have no alternative to using deadly force. Agents shall not discharges firearms in response to thrown or hurled projectiles unless the agent has a reasonable belief, based on the totality of the circumstances, to include the size and nature of the projectiles, that the subject o

f such force poses an imminent danger of death or serious injury. Agents should obtain a tactical advantage in these situations, such as seeking cover or distancing themselves from the immediate area of danger.

In other words…

Should a FREE RANGE ILLEGAL ALIEN drive a vehicle at speed at and or through a border checkpoint…OUR BORDER AGENTS are to do NOTHING to stop them.

Has it become such a problem, our agents throwing themselves in front of speeding vehicles, that we now need a directive to stop the practice?

And…

Should OUR BORDER AGENTS come under assault, AS THEY HAVE MORE THAN 1700 TIMES OVER THE LAST 4 YEARS…They are to…ummmm…ASSESS the SIZE of the projectiles BEFORE TAKING ANY ACTION and, should action BE necessary…

OUR BORDER AGENTS ARE TO…”OBTAIN A TACTICAL ADVANTAGE…SUCH AS…SEEKING COVER!!!”

Run and HIDE???

Yep.

I have a pretty good idea just WHO came up with this load of crap and, I’ll bet you do too so, allow me to now address my next question to that very occupier of our oval office.

YO…NUMB-NUTS…

HAVE YOU EVER ACTUALLY SEEN LARGE SECTIONS OF OUR SOUTHERN BORDER???

As places to play HIDE AND SEEK generally go…THE DESERT SUCKS!!!

Hide behind WHAT, exactly?

The place is DEVOID of trees…There are no ROCKS except for the ones that must first be ASSESSED regarding wether they are BASEBALL sized or SOFTBALL sized and…the CACTI are, for the most part, too spread out to provide quick cover.

Let me explain this another way.

By the time our Border Agents assess the size of the projectiles…look, in vain, for a place to hide and fill out the required paperwork, IN TRIPLICATE no doubt…They’ll either be severely injured or…the FREE-RANGE ILLEGAL ALIENS will be half way to the Midwest.

Why do we even HAVE border agents?

At this point, wouldn’t it be more expeditious to patrol our borders with OBAMACARE NAVIGATORS and ACORN VOTER REGISTRATION WORKERS to streamline the process?

As things now stand, illegal aliens carry drugs and weapons either by foot or in vehicles across the border and, now they know they have nothing to fear…All they need do is speed up or hurl a rock and the way will be cleared for them by edict of the Emperor.

While the Dictator busies himself redrawing the borders of Israel and threatens to put a hold on a few dozen Russian visas in an effort to intimidate Putin for doing the Soviet goose-step shuffle into Crimea…He’s working the eraser like a Parkinson’s patient drinking espresso on OUR border.

Not only do these tactics lay our border wide open for anyone seeking in state tuition as well as to enemies who would rather kill us than make free Obamaphone calls but, it makes targets OF our border agents.

Illegal alien CRIMINALS now know full well that our border agents are under orders not to engage which leaves them out there like sitting ducks and FREE-RANGE ILLEGAL ALIENS will take advantage of that situation.

Put this all into a foreign affairs context if you will.

When Iran is allowed “time and space” for diplomacy to work, Iran will accelerate their efforts to finish building a nuke.

Give FREE-RANGE ILLEGAL ALIENS the knowledge that they will not be stopped and, they’ll flood the border.

Why would I even bother to make a foreign affairs comparison to begin with?

2 reasons actually.

First…Ever hear of OTM aliens?

Those would be illegal aliens, OTHER THAN MEXICANS, who are crossing our southern border at an alarming rate.

In fact, the OTM crossings are UP by a STUNNING 55% since 2013.

And what are their points of origin?

China, South American countries and yes…THE MIDDLE EAST…the homes of our enemies in war and the lands of those whose people engage in islamist terror attacks around the world.

And second…This NEW DIRECTIVE is EXACTLY the same sort of idiotic thing which has led to the murders of SCORES of U.S. military personnel and civilian contractors in Afghanistan.

It’s just now sinking in, isn’t it?

It all boils down to this…

Our border agents are trained to protect our borders and, themselves against incursion and/or assault but, due to this absurd NEW DIRECTIVE, they are allowed to do neither.

Illegal aliens, we are told by liberals, do the jobs Americans won’t.

Which means, the next crop of U.S. Border Agents will be recruited from Home Depot parking lots across the southwest, will be working for 5 bucks an hour and voting early and often for liberals.
