Let’s get something straight right off the bat here.

There is no reason…NO reason whatsoever to raise the debt ceiling.

None.

We won’t “default” if we don’t raise it and, we SHOULDN’T raise it without some plan to deal, and I mean deal EFFECTIVELY with, the CURRENT, staggering, $17 TRILLION dollar debt.

In 5 years, Obama hasn’t submitted a budget that spends equal to or less than we take in and for most of those 5 years, his budget proposals have been SO absurd as to not garner a single vote in the senate.

NOT EVEN ONE…FROM HIS OWN PARTY!!!

So…Why raise the debt ceiling?

Essentially, raising the debt ceiling would be borrowing MORE money to SPEND without ANY attempt to pay back what has ALREADY been borrowed and providing absolutely NO assurance that SPENDING will be brought under control.

Try doing that with YOUR bank and see what happens.

Try DEMANDING that of your bank.

Walk into your bank and DEMAND that you be given a bigger line of credit with your bank manager KNOWING that you spend more than your income and DEMAND it without ANY strings attached.

RUN YOUR CREDIT CARD TO THE MAX AND THEN demand MORE CREDIT BUT BE SURE TO TELL THEM YOU WON’T BE PAYING IT BACK…Let me know how THAT works out for ya.

You’ll be lucky if they don’t have you committed for a MENTAL examination.

Besides…

Obama doesn’t even want the debt ceiling raised.

Oh…I don’t really care how much he whines about it nor do I care how much he tries to scare us all with his DIRE predictions of what will happen if we DON’T raise the debt ceiling.

HE…OBAMA…DOES NOT…I REPEAT DOES NOT…WANT THE DEBT CEILING RAISED!!!

THAT was back in his 2008 campaign and, in fact, if you go back to March 16^th, 2006, SENATOR Barack Hussein Obama stated, on the floor of the senate…

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can’t pay its own bills. … I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.”

And Obama wasn’t the only one.

Do tell Harry…How WILL you explain it to YOUR constituents that YOU were AGAINST a debt ceiling raise before you were FOR a debt ceiling raise???

Well, that was then and THIS…Is now…

The only difference is NOW…There is a SOCIALIST in the oval office.

And here HE is in direct contradiction to HIS 2008 and 2006 position against a debt ceiling roof raising.

Ahhh…Hipocrisy.

Naturally, liberals and socialists are pointing to REPUBLICAN hypocrisy saying that Republicans have never had an aversion to raising the debt ceiling until OBAMA occupied the oval office and, in that, if that’s all there was to it, would be correct but, that’s not all there is to it.

In case the liberals and socialists haven’t noticed, there are a bunch of new sheriffs in town.

Those Tea Party Members of Congress were ELECTED to do a couple of very important things.

Stop the implementation of Obamacare and…Get this massive and growing debt under control and it’s those Tea Party Members of the house and senate that are holding the line on this.

THEY weren’t there when Bush was in office but, they ARE there NOW.

Obama says HE won’t negotiate on the debt ceiling.

HE wants MORE money to spend as HE sees fit and THAT is a BIG part of the problem.

Unless Obama is willing to engage in negotiations INCLUDING holding the line on spending and making some SERIOUS cuts to be sure we DON’T spend more that revenues allow…A DEBT CEILING RAISE AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN!!!

And a very big part of the spending nightmare is Obamacare…Forecast to cost nearly $1 TRILLION dollars over the next 10 years.

That’s $1 TRILLION dollars we, as a nation, don’t have and $1 trillion MORE dollars that will have to be BORROWED.

No. No way. NO!!!

There is nothing at all hypocritical in a NEW batch of Conservatives drawing a line in the sand NOW just because Republicans didn’t do it before but there IS a BOAT LOAD of hypocrisy in Obama saying that there should be NO raising of the debt ceiling back THEN and the very SAME Obama saying we HAVE to raise it, without conditions, NOW.

And then, there’s THIS.

During the 8 YEARS of George W. Bush, the national debt rose by $4.899 trillion dollars.

During Obama’s 5 years in office…The national debt has risen by nearly $6 TRILLION DOLLARS.

On Bush’s LAST day in office, our national debt was, $ 10.626 trillion dollars.

Today, after 5 years of Obamanomics…Our national debt sits at $16.9 TRILLION dollars…AND COUNTING!!!

Now, remember how abhorrent Obama felt the national debt was under George W. Bush and how opposed he was to RAISING it???

Well, according to Obama NOW…

Excuse me?

INCREASING THE DEBT CEILING…BORROWING MORE AND MORE MONEY…DOESN’T INCREASE THE DEBT???

WHAT SORT OF COMMON CORE SOCIALIST INDOCTRINATION OF OUR YOUTH CRAP IS THAT???

Of course it adds to the debt and to think, much less SAY that it doesn’t is no less foolish than saying that if you jump into the deep end of a full outhouse basement, you won’t come out stinking.

Good grief.

Finally…What happens if we DON’T raise the debt ceiling?

Will an asteroid strike the earth resulting in the extinction of women, children, old people, polar bears, black people and illegal alien “dreamers” or whatever it is that Obama and the socialists are whining about today?

Of course not. Those are nothing more than scare tactics and poorly conceived scare tactics at that.

As long as we continue to service our debt, for liberals and socialists, that means paying the interest, we won’t “default” and since the part of the IRS that robs us all blind of more than $2 TRILLION dollars every year remains OPEN during the “SHUTDOWN” we’ll still have more than enough to do that AND waste more money on Obama’s vacations and treadmills for shrimp.

It not at all unlike the National Mall being closed to 90 year old WWII Veterans but as open as our southern border to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS holding a rally.

So…What we have here is this…

On one hand…OBAMA…Holding the nation HOSTAGE, EXTORTING every American with Obamacare being the RANSOM…TERRORIZING the country by THREATENING not to pay our country’s bills…HOLDING A GUN TO THE HEADS of children by shutting down the Amber Alert system and DISMISSING OLD PEOPLE by closing the WWII Memorial… All the while…DEMANDING everything he wants INCLUDING a debt ceiling raise he has previously called “UNPATRIOTIC” and a “FAILURE OF LEADERSHIP” before he will negotiate and…a Mainstream Media, suffering an advanced state of Stockholm Syndrome, refusing to call him on prayer rug for it.

On the OTHER Hand…Republicans telling the hostage taker...”We’ll give you THIS if you let the hostages go,” and “We’ll give you THAT if you let the hostages go…”

“We’ll give you this AND that if you let the hostage go.”

“WE’LL GIVE YOU THIS…THAT…AND THE OTHER THING IF YOU LET THE HOSTAGES GO!!!”

And with every offer comes the response from the Hostage Taker in Chief…“No, no, NO!!! It’s not ENOUGH!!! GIVE ME SOCIALISM!!! GIVE ME SOCIALISM AND THEN…I’LL NEGOTIATE THE RELEASE OF THE HOSTAGES!!!!!”

And he says CONSERVATIVES are the hostage takers?

Conservatives are the arsonists?? Conservatives and demanding a ransom??? CONSERVATIVES have a “gun to the heads of the American people?????”

Yep…That’s about the size of it.
