The governor of North Carolina, Pat McCrory, signed a voter ID bill into law yesterday.

That bill makes it mandatory that one have in their possession, a photo ID in order to vote.

The new law is aimed at cracking down on and preventing voter fraud so as to preserve the standard, 1 person, 1 vote system.

Among other things, the North Carolina law requires a driver’s license, passport, veteran’s ID, tribal card starting with the 2016 elections. Student IDs are not an acceptable form of identification. The bill will also reduce early voting by a week, eliminate same-day registration, ends pre-registration for 16-and-17 year olds and provides FREE voter photo ID cards for those who don’t already have or cannot afford one of the above listed forms of acceptable ID.

Naturally, Governor McCrory is a conservative and naturally, the ACLU, the NAACP and other socialist organizations have filed suite over the new law claiming it violates everything from the constitution to the Civil Rights Act of 1965 and probably, Newton’s laws of gravity.

Over in California…

The Governor of California, Jerry Brown, signed a bill into law yesterday as well.

The bill makes it allowable for California public school students to use whichever bathroom in which they feel they belong.

The new law is aimed at cracking down on the bullying of transgendered students by allowing boys who feel that they are girls to use the girls restroom and girls to use the boys room if they feel they are boys.

Among other things, the California law allows athletes to decide on playing on boys or girls teams in sports based on which gender they feel they might be and, of course, allows them the use of whichever locker room they feel like using.

Naturally, Governor Brown is a liberal and, naturally, The ACLU, the NAACP and other socialist organizations are…celebrating.

According to Masen Davis, Executive Director of Transgender Law Center, “Now, every transgender student in California will be able to get up in the morning knowing that when they go to school as their authentic self they will have the same fair chance at success as their classmates.”

First of all, I feel just plain silly as I didn’t realize that a grade school, Middle school or high school student’s opportunity to achieve success was reliant on whether or not there was a urinal in their bathroom.

Second…”AUTHENTIC SELF?????”

Let’s take the case of ABC Editor Don Ennis.

For most of his life, Don’s “authentic self” was a man. Born that way you know.

Then, last May, Don said his “authentic self” was really DAWN and he began wearing dresses and using the women’s bathroom.

LAST WEEK…DAWN told his coworkers that his REAL “AUTHENTIC SELF” was…DON and, although he now has BOOBS, he is dressing appropriately and using the men’s room.

Science can change a great deal with respect to one’s looks and with regard to this article, can make a boy look and sound like a girl or, the other way around but one thing science can NOT do is alter one’s “AUTHENTIC SELF!!!”

If you are born a boy, with boy parts and boy DNA…you CAN change the parts but you CAN’T change the DNA and therefore, the AUTHENTIC SELF is MALE. If you’re born a girl with girl parts and girl DNA…You can switch out the parts but…THE DNA and therefore, the AUTHENTIC SELF is FEMALE.

You can slap a Mustang plate on a Corvette but that doesn’t make a Chevy, a Ford.

But…In California…BOBBY, on Monday, can say he FEELS like BOBBIE, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and use the girl’s restroom and then, decide he feels like BOBBY again by Friday.

Now, I can see full well how the North Carolina Voter ID law will prevent or squash a damn good amount of voter fraud because, if you have to show a photo ID when you go to vote, poll workers will be able to determine that you are who you say you are.

However…Could SOMEBODY please explain to me how allowing boys who FEEL like girls and, girls who FEEL like boys use the others bathroom will cut down on BULLYING???

It seems to me that this absurd move stands a better chance of INCREASING bullying.

Boys, that other boys KNOW are boys, suddenly using the girls bathroom and locker room and signing up to play on the girls softball team would become even MORE of a bullying target than they were before and what of the PRIVACY rights of those who don’t want a person of the opposite authentic sex in the stall or sports locker next to them?

The FEELINGS of boys will be boys, boys and girls will be girls, girls are not given an iota of thought in this California toilet flush while the FEELINGS of the “think they may be transgendered” vast minority are PARAMOUNT.

Around this once great country, you need a photo ID to get on an airplane, buy beer, cash a check, purchase Sudafed or nail polish remover…You can’t get into certain government buildings without a photo ID or buy cigarettes, get a passport, collect welfare or any one of hundreds of other things but, in North Carolina, there are groups who are suing the state because they are now requiring you to have a photo ID to vote.

In California…All you have to do is CLAIM you’re the opposite sex of your biological assignment and presto…you’re in the other “authentic self’s” bathroom and playing the opposite assigned sex’s sports.

2 bills signed into law on the same day in 2 very different states.

In North Carolina, you have to prove you are who you say you are while, in California, feel free to be your “authentic self…” whoever or whatever that is on a day to day basis…No ID necessary.
