In a not at all surprising move yesterday, Russia and China, both vitriolic supporters of Assad, got up and walked OUT of a U.N. Security Council meeting regarding Syria and the impending military strike Obama is desperate to make.

They WALKED OUT.

Their position is clear and that’s not good news for the U.N. puppet, Obama.

He will NOT have the authorization of his beloved union of despots, thugs and thieves to launch attacks on Syria but…Will he have the authorization of his own CONGRESS?

Ahhhhh…That is the question.

Obama and HIS regime say that the impending strikes are not about regime change in SYRIA.

NOT ABOUT REGIME CHANGE IN SYRIA.

He HAS to make that claim, for doing otherwise, would be announcing his transparent support of al Qaeda and other terrorist entities in yet another sovereign nation.

He did it in Libya and covered it up.

He did it in Egypt and cloaked it in a “democratic election.”

He did it in Iraq and Afghanistan by announcing our retreat.

He did it in Iran by NOT interfering when pro-democracy protesters were massacred there.

Now, by aiding and trying to supply al Qaeda, Ansar al-Sharia and other such ilk in Syria, he intends to assist those terrorist groups by striking Syria with Tomahawk cruise missiles.

Obama wants to attack…

He WANTS to commit our military BUT he doesn’t have an end strategy.

He wants to “punish” Assad but he’s not even going AFTER Assad. He drew a red line, ignored it the first time it was crossed and the world, especially our enemies, laughed at him.

Barack Hussein Obama had to save face. He had to find a way to be tough, relevant and at center stage.

All Obama needed was a catalyst and now he has one.

WMD.

Chemical weapons.

6 or 7 months ago, when Assad used them, in defiance of Obama’s “red line” Obama did nothing.

NOTHING.

And this time, when the death toll was larger and indications show that WMD was used by the very al Qaeda “rebels” he intends to assist and possibly by Assad as well…Obama HAS to be ballsy or lose what little face he has left.

Will Obama seek the advice and consent of congress before dedicating our military to these strikes?

It seems he would rather not and that is going to be a problem because, back in 2007, both Obama AND Joe Biden spoke out CLEARLY against a president taking unilateral military action WITHOUT that congressional consent.

Biden even vowed to seek impeachment should that occur.

I’ll bet neither of them will address that now and, it’s nearly a moot point anyway.

There is no direct or implied threat to the United States from Syria.

NONE.

What is happening there is a civil war.

IT’S THEIR CIVIL WAR…Not ours.

Liberals are trying their damnedest to draw a comparison between Bush and Obama here but they are dead wrong to do so.

Despite their continued sniveling over the topic, congress had the following to say on the matter in 2002:

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This joint resolution may be cited as the “Authorization for Use of
Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002”.

SEC. 2. SUPPORT FOR UNITED STATES DIPLOMATIC EFFORTS.

    The Congress of the United States supports the efforts by the
President to–
(1) strictly enforce through the United Nations Security
Council all relevant Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq
and encourages him in those efforts; and
(2) obtain prompt and decisive action by the Security
Council to ensure that Iraq abandons its strategy of delay,
evasion and noncompliance and promptly and strictly complies
with all relevant Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq.

So, yes…George W. Bush did indeed seek and receive the advice and consent of congress to take military action against Iraq and so too, by the way, George H.W. Bush when HE took our military into action against Iraq.

And before liberals start whining about what threat Iraq posed, allow me to answer that question.

Iraq was an entirely different matter.

Bush 41 sought congressional approval and got it. Iraq was pushed back inside their own borders and, under U.N. sanctions, in the next 12 years, 17 resolutions were passed against Saddam and the threat of further military action was contained, not only within those resolutions but also under Bush 41’s congressional approval.

Iraq VIOLATED every single resolution and thus, left the door open under the Bush 41 approval for military action…For FURTHER military action.

Obama has our military poised and ready to strike Syria completely without that consent right now and my guess is, he will try to get closed door meetings with the RINO set…McCain and Graham and if THEY buy his line of crap…He’ll justify the launching of cruise missiles based on THAT.

Asking for the FULL consent of congress would open the door to the denial OF the consent which, in turn, would cause him to loose a great deal of face with his Islamist friends. He would be seen as ineffectual and of no further use to them.

If he DOES ask for the permission of congress, will they GIVE it?

That is anybody’s guess but, before they make THAT decision they should be confronted with a dire element of doing so.

We still have military personnel, tens of thousands of them, in Afghanistan and they will have new and bigger targets on them when Obama strikes Syria.

Let’s not forget too, that our military personnel and civilian contractors IN Afghanistan have been rendered little more than sitting ducks under Obama’s “rules of engagement.”

Iran, on Afghanistan’s western border, is a bold and defiant ally of Assad and would most likely try to exact retaliation on behalf of Syria t attacking our forces stationed IN Afghanistan.

Obama would be putting our troops in further danger.

He would be placing Israel in a grave situation as Hezbollah in Lebanon has 800,000 rockets pointed AT Israel.

He’s committing treason by aiding and abetting our enemies and…OBAMA IS WILLING…DESPERATE…TO COMMIT OUR MILITARY TO ACTION…UNCONSTITUTIONALLY!!!!!

But…

WHAT SAY YOU NOW…JOE BIDEN???

WHAT SAY YOU NOW BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA???

If…Obama does this and IF he does it without the advice and consent of congress…

HE SHOULD BE IMPEACHED IMMEDIATELY…BASED ON EXISTING LAW AND HIS AND JOE BIDEN’S OWN WORDS!!!

THE ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT SHOULD BE DRAWN UP BEFORE THE SMOKE CLEARS FROM DAMASCUS AND PASSED THROUGH THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE FASTER THAN A CRUISE MISSILE FLIES!!!

There should be no delay, no votes against and a moving truck parked outside 1600 Pennsylvania Ave with the back door open.

WHO…IN THE HOUSE…WILL HAVE THE GONADS TO AUTHOR THE PAPERS???

WE HAVE OBAMA AND BIDEN…IN THEIR OWN WORDS…LEAVING NO DOUBT AS TO THEIR VIEW ON THE SUBJECT!!!

I have HAD it with this penny ante Dictator and his monolithic view of the rule of law.

The United States can not and SHOULD not be trying to win the hearts and minds of our enemies NOR should we be engaging…Sending OUR military assets into THEIR civil war.

We SHOULD NOT be, in ANY way, assisting OUR ENEMIES IN A TIME OF WAR regardless of how nasty and brutal the Dictator.

THAT IS TREASON!!!

We should NEVER be acting in such a way as to bring our ALLIES closer to war against THEIR enemies and we should NOT be placing our military personnel, already engaged in one war, in FURTHER JEOPARDY from regimes who are just ITCHING for the opportunity to seek retaliation.

If Barack Hussein Obama pulls this trigger without the consent of congress…HIS REIGN OF UNCONSTITUTIONAL BEHAVIOR SHOULD BE ENDED BY AN ACT OF CONGRESS!!!!!

But…DICTATORS don’t NEED the CONSENT OF CONGRESS…Do they?
