Ahhhhh…Tea is SO refreshing. Better than Kool Aid.
Remember when?
Remember when all those jack booted unions were all about Obamacare? How they told US that Obamacare was just what this country needed and how those of us who were against it needed to be met with a hit?
Those were the good ol’ days huh?
It was the Tea Party, our little angry mob, astro-turf, racist, terrorist grass roots groups railing against Obamacare that put a coat of shellack on Obama and the socialists in the 2010 midterms and the unions were still holding us to the point of a gun for it in 2011.
Remember Jimmy Hoffa the Lesser?
In 2011, HE let loose on the Tea Party and stated: “We’ve got to keep an eye on the battle that we face — a war on workers. And you see it everywhere. It is the Tea Party. And there’s only one way to beat and win that war — the one thing about working people is, we like a good fight.”
“President Obama, this is your army, we are ready to march. But everybody here’s got to vote. If we go back, and keep the eye on the prize, let’s take these son-of-a-bitches out.”
He’s a peach isn’t he?
Then, the unions asked for and got a butt-load of Obamacare waivers for which, they paid handsomely via campaign contributions.
That’s about the time that we, as Conservatives, said…WTH?????
If Obamacare was so darned GOOD…And the unions were trying to shove it down all our throats…Why in the world were they asking for WAIVERS?
We, Conservatives and Tea Partiers said Obamacare was a bad idea in 2009. We VOTED on it being a BAD idea in 2010. WE SCREAMED it was a bad idea every day SINCE then and all we’ve been met with from the socialist loons is that WE are ALL wrong about Obamacare.
That was then…THIS is NOW.
Just days ago…
Little Jimmy Hoffa wrote a letter to Harry Reid and Nancy “You have to pass the bill to find out what’s IN the bill” Pelosi and guess what?
Jimmy’s still frothing at the mouth.
“When you and the President sought our support for the Affordable Care Act (ACA), you pledged that if we liked the health plans we have now, we could keep them. Sadly, that promise is under threat. Right now, unless you and the Obama Administration enact an equitable fix, the ACA will shatter not only our hard-earned health benefits, but destroy the foundation of the 40 hour work week that is the backbone of the American middle class.”
“Like millions of other Americans, our members are front-line workers in the American economy. We have been strong supporters of the notion that all Americans should have access to quality, affordable health care. We have also been strong supporters of you. In campaign after campaign we have put boots on the ground, gone door-to-door to get out the vote, run phone banks and raised money to secure this vision.”
“Now this vision has come back to haunt us.”
“Since the ACA was enacted, we have been bringing our deep concerns to the Administration, seeking reasonable regulatory interpretations to the statute that would help prevent the destruction of non-profit health plans. As you both know first-hand, our persuasive arguments have been disregarded and met with a stone wall by the White House and the pertinent agencies. This is especially stinging because other stakeholders have repeatedly received successful interpretations for their respective grievances. Most disconcerting of course is last week’s huge accommodation for the employer community—extending the statutorily mandated “December 31, 2013” deadline for the employer mandate and penalties.”
“Time is running out: Congress wrote this law; we voted for you. We have a problem; you need to fix it. The unintended consequences of the ACA are severe. Perverse incentives are already creating nightmare scenarios.”
“First, the law creates an incentive for employers to keep employees’ work hours below 30 hours a week. Numerous employers have begun to cut workers’ hours to avoid this obligation, and many of them are doing so openly. The impact is two-fold: fewer hours means less pay while also losing our current health benefits.”
“Second, millions of Americans are covered by non-profit health insurance plans like the ones in which most of our members participate. These non-profit plans are governed jointly by unions and companies under the Taft-Hartley Act. Our health plans have been built over decades by working men and women. Under the ACA as interpreted by the Administration, our employees will treated differently and not be eligible for subsidies afforded other citizens. As such, many employees will be relegated to second-class status and shut out of the help the law offers to for-profit insurance plans.”
“And finally, even though non-profit plans like ours won’t receive the same subsidies as for-profit plans, they’ll be taxed to pay for those subsidies. Taken together, these restrictions will make non-profit plans like ours unsustainable, and will undermine the health-care market of viable alternatives to the big health insurance companies.”
“On behalf of the millions of working men and women we represent and the families they support, we can no longer stand silent in the face of elements of the Affordable Care Act that will destroy the very health and wellbeing of our members along with millions of other hardworking Americans.”
“We believe that there are common-sense corrections that can be made within the existing statute that will allow our members to continue to keep their current health plans and benefits just as you and the President pledged. Unless changes are made, however, that promise is hollow.”
“We continue to stand behind real health care reform, but the law as it stands will hurt millions of Americans including the members of our respective unions.”
“We are looking to you to make sure these changes are made.”
Well, well, well…Welcome aboard the U.S.S. Obvious.
Let me tell YOU something Jimmy, you gullible waist of a $1000 dollar suit…There are only 2 ways to “fix” this.
1) 1) Repeal this atrocity of a bill or…
2) 2) Get the socialist snot wads who WON’T repeal it OUT of Washington and put your NEW workers dues behind CONSERVATIVES who WILL repeal it.
You can write your 2010 midterm purchases and your 2012 general election buys off as business losses but…Be careful…You just might get audited for getting on the RIGHT side of this argument.
Will Harry Reid now demand the end of Obamacare? Will Nancy Pelosi?
Not a chance because they have their entire political identity wrapped up IN it. They spent THEIR political capital bribing others to vote for it and where are THEY now? They also spent the union’s money on getting reelected but, as socialists and unions always do, they were spending other people’s money.
The problem for the unions is that those “other” people aren’t going to have as much money after Obamacare as they did BEFORE Obamacare.
I have 2 questions for Jimmy Hoffa Jr.
First…Didn’t WE tell ya this was gonna happen from the get-go?
Yes we did. We spelled it out for you and you told US we didn’t know what we were talking about.
Welcome to reality.
And second…
How’s your dad?
Hey…HE called ME a son of a bitch a couple years ago…I’m just trying to earn the title.
It turns out that Lil Jimmy and the unions didn’t get what they bought and paid for.
All of a sudden, all the things WE said about Obamacare…the UNIONS are saying about Obamacare and it doesn’t pain me at all to say THEY’RE CORRECT because…THEY are just now jumping on OUR train.
The union’s bought and paid for Dictator is now wanting to delay key provisions OF Obamacare and THAT can’t be done without an actual ACT OF CONGRESS but, that delay will do nothing BUT delay the heartache until after the 2014 midterm so…that ain’t the fix Hoffa and others who signed on to that letter, the presidents of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union and UNITE-HERE, are looking for.
Make no mistake, this letter should grab Harry Ried by the short hairries too because, the unions signed at the bottom of Jimmy’s letter include CASINO and HOTEL workers without whom, Nevada would nothing more than a long stretch of road without a bathroom.
Now, the IRS is supposed to handle Obamacare. What do you think of THAT Jimmy Jr? The IRS just “accidentally” posted more than 100 thousand social security numbers and they’re to be trusted with YOUR medical records?
Tell us Jimmy…Enlighten us all…How long before the IRS lets it slip that you got your frank and beans caught in your zipper over Obamacare and it’s not considered a preexisting condition?
I have another question for Jimbo.
How does it feel to be lied to? Obama…YOUR out of pocket community organizer in chief LIED to you didn’t he? He told you these things would be handled didn’t he? HE PROMISED didn’t he?
Well…There ya go…
We told you that would happen too…Didn’t we?
Lil’ Jimmy better watch his back.lest the boy-king take him out,Chicago style!
We Told Him. His response was to use all his power to destroy US.
Excellent and shared! Poor stupid babies! They deserve whatever they get.
