We, as conservatives, have railed against the notion but…Should we?
”It takes a village to raise a child.”
As I think back to MY younger days…To a large extent, there WAS a “village” involved.
My friend’s parents were part of that “village” and so was my church. There were the teachers in my schools, older kids who were either good or bad role models, extended family and neighbors.
Primarily, there were my parents but, to be fair, others; many others were involved in some way, shape or form. A “village” of sorts, I suppose and anything you did, right or wrong, good or bad, was seen by SOMEBODY who knew my parents and had no qualms whatsoever in reporting it TOO them.
Maybe it just took a village to keep an eye out.
There IS another old adage…
“Somewhere, a village is missing its idiot.”
The good news is…We have located the missing village idiots.
The bad news is…
They’re raising approximately 47% the children.
Among that 47%, common sense has been replaced by political correctness.
Morals have been replaced by entitlements.
Self-reliance has been replaced by reliance on government.
Religion has been replaced by a secular mindset.
Morals have been replaced by a “what’s in it for me?” attitude.
American values, American exceptionalism, patriotism, those things are also missing in the 47% being raised by the village idiots.
To them, America is always wrong, evil, out of bounds and the bully on the world’s stage.
Standards have been replaced by double standards.
In today’s polite politically correct society, the majority dare not utter the word, “nigger” lest they be so ostracized that their careers are in ruins and their lives in tatters but, a minority rapper, comedian, actor or street thug can say “nigger” all day long and win awards and the respect of their piers for doing so.
Just a couple of days ago, the prosecution’s star witness in the George Zimmerman case told the court that in her culture, a black culture, calling white people “creepy ass crackers” is common. She, Rachel Jeanel, also told the court that “crazy ass cracker” was not…NOT…a racial slur.
One wonders what might happen should a white person call a black person a “nigger” in that culture or her neighborhood.
George Zimmerman is part white, part Hispanic and part black and, according to Rachel Jeanel, calling him a “nigger” and a “creepy ass cracker” is perfectly acceptable.
How about we use those exact terms to describe another of mixed race.
Barack Hussein Obama is a creepy ass cracker and a nigger.
That, of course, by the double standards of the village idiots, is completely unacceptable.
Aaron Hernandez is in jail, charged with an execution style murder and under investigation for a drive by that took 2 other lives and suspected of shooting and permanently disabling another man just a few months ago.
Hernandez was a $40 million dollar star in the NFL a week ago.
Aaron Hernandez, it seems, was the only thing that mattered to Aaron Hernandez.
Morals, self-respect, respect for others, religion…ALL would have kept Hernandez out of a jail cell but, as a village idiot, those things are not in his wheelhouse.
“In God We Trust” or “One Nation Under God” or a cross on a hilltop or a manger in the park are all against the village idiot’s mandate that the state not be involved in religion however, have the Supreme Court extend itself into redefining the traditional religious definition of marriage by 
allowing and defending gay marriage and you get a village idiot standing ovation.
Just one short day after village idiots celebrated the gay marriage rulings of the Supreme Court, celebrity village idiot, Alec Baldwin, let loose a string of pejorative tweets which would be deemed heinous by the gay community were a straight person have issued them
Will Baldwin be met with the same vitriolic treatment as Paula Deen who admitted to the use of the word “nigger” some 30 years ago?
Oh, I know he apologized but then, so did Paula Dean. By the way, Here’s Alec’s explanation: “The idea of me calling this guy a “queen” and that being something that people thought is homophobic…a queen to me has a different meaning. It’s somebody who’s just above. It doesn’t have any necessarily sexual connotations. To me a queen… I know women that act queeny, I know men that are straight that act queeny, and I know gay men that act queeny. It doesn’t have to be a definite sexual connotation, or a homophobic connotation. To me those are people who think the rules don’t apply to them.”
Our elected village idiots labeled a conservative senator as a crackpot abusing the system when he launched into a filibuster trying to discover whether or not drones could be used to kill Americans on American soil but, the same elected village idiots tweeted their admiration of a Texas state senator who was launching into a filibuster aimed at making it legal to kill American babies past the 20th week of pregnancy. Tweeted the Village Idiot in Chief, “Something special is happening in Austin tonight.”
The “village” is far different today than it was when I was young. Back then, the “village” was people you knew and saw on a daily basis. Today, its people you will never meet thanks to social media. Village idiot youth today take their cues from a worldwide network of other village idiots.
Respect has been replaced by intimidation. Facts don’t matter. If someone disagree with a young village idiot today, they are showing disrespect for them and there will be hell to pay because, morals, common sense and ramifications for actions play no role it their decisions.
Perhaps celebrity village idiot, Matthew Modine who said, “creepy ass cracker” isn’t racist when being used to describe george zimmerman. that dude is a creepy ass cracker who was packing heat,” or Alec Baldwin would like to tell us why the tweets at right aren’t racist.
There was a day that someone who had been in prison was shunned by polite society. Today, they are respected by the politically correct society.
Case in point…
Columbia University, Ivy League and now an asylum of higher indoctrination administered by “intellectual” village idiots.
Teaching today at Columbia one will find, Kathy Boudin – Weather Underground domestic terrorist once convicted of 2nd degree murder…Cheryl Wilkins – Once convicted of being an accomplice in the armed hijacking of a Fed Ex truck and she did 12 years in prison…Denise Blackwell – Paroled in 2003 after serving 10 years on attempted 2nd degree murder and robbery charges…Mika’il DeVeaux – He did 24 years for 2nd degree murder.
Ivy League or…POISON Ivy League?
Rather than dealing with the village idiots rug-rat issues head on, village idiot parents stuff them full of chemicals, send them off to be indoctrinated by village idiot teachers where they are expelled for gnawing a Pop Tart into the shape of a gun before sending them off to asylums of higher indoctrination where they may well be brainwashed by tenured murderers wondering all the while why the future of our country can’t separate reality from fantasy.
Schools will send kids home who attach an American flag to their bikes…Homeowners associations will sue those who raise the American flag in their yard. Village idiots demand that the Pledge of Allegiance be dropped in classrooms and city council rooms alike.
Cinco de Mayo? Feel free to wave THAT flag.
Believe in the 1st and 2nd Amendments and, according to the village idiots, you’re bitterly clinging to your religion and guns. Yell ALLAHU AKBAR before you gun down scores of people on an Army base and you’re committed workplace violence.
Here’s the bottom line…
The offspring of village idiots will watch and learn from those of their own ilk making each “progressive” generation more and more idiotic and always take the path of least resistance.
That path always…ALWAYS leads to adult village idiotism.
As adults, village idiots will always feel entitled to what village PRODIGIES have achieved through the employment of morals, common sense, respect, hard work, faith and values and when confronted by those who feel they don’t deserve it, they will label the prodigies as angry, racists, mobs, backwards, slow-witted Tea Party terrorists while asking the God in which they simply don’t believe to bless those who occupy parks.
Do not, however, mistake the village idiots for village morons as village idiots are following a comprehensive plan and these morons…
Are considered as the ultimate in village idiot success.
And we wonder why the country is going the way it’s going…
Because…It takes a village idiot to be a liberal.
It’s going to take Conservative, American family values, morals, self reliance, ethics, strong fundamental standards, faith and common sense to make this a great country again.

Great essay today. Spot on. I remember the times like you describe. Aunts and uncles had no qualms about busting your butt for misbehavior. After that, you got another one for embarrassing your parents. PC was just starting and had not taken over. Now we are stuck with trying to get the evil genie back into the bottle.
Has anyone seen his Obama’s parents’ Marriage License? Perhaps the word “bastard” could make a comeback.
With thinking like this we could start a state . Getting all the people and Companys that want it this way to come and be part of the rebuilding of the USA. and let the unwanted ones ones leave. But that thinking is not correct in todays world is it? We should have understanding for all that do not believe. But i do not want too!
I want to live in a place where every one watches over all and has a say in it,like it used to be. I guess i dont mind being jugged by my piers. It made me thing about what i was doing and even sometimes it made me mad .But i got over it and a lot of times they were wrong ,but i had to think about it for a while. Now no one says anthing about anything, Do what ever i want,but dont say what ever i want because you never know who is listing.
