The latest revelation of abuses of power by the Obama regime is troubling indeed.
It was leaked, late last week, that this regime, out of control, consumed with power and as paranoid as the day is long, has been spying on Americans.
Over the weekend, Obama ordered his henchman Holder to find out where the leak originated and then, just hours later, Snowden came forward, from HONG KONG and owned up to it…Sort of.
Edward Snowden, a 29 year old who says he worked for a time at the CIA and as a contractor for the NSA before becoming a contract worker for Booz Allen Hamilton, has let loose a real problem for the regime.
According to Snowden, “When you’re in positions of privileged access …You recognize some of these things are actual abuses. Over time, you feel compelled to talk about it.”
“My sole motive is to inform the public as to that which is done in their name and that which is done against them.”
“I understand that I will be made to suffer for my actions,” but “I will be satisfied if the federation of secret law, unequal pardon and irresistible executive powers that rule the world that I love are revealed even for an instant.”
Snowden went on to say…
“Allowing the U.S. government to intimidate its people with threats of retaliation for revealing wrongdoing is contrary to the public interest.”
While spying on our enemies, especially to uncover terrorist plots is a damn good and necessary thing…I believe the notion that Snowden, a weasel who wants NOBODY spied upon ANYWHERE in the world and that even spying on our ENEMIES is some sort of an abuse of power, gave away classified intel that may or may not bring an end to such programs or compromise agents involved in them, is the least of Obama’s problems with this.
Clearly I don’t want our people in sensitive positions compromised but let’s face it, our enemies, whether terrorist or diplomatic in nature, already KNOW they’re being spied upon and if they don’t, they’re not very good at whatever it is they do.
It’s the OTHER end of this that adds up to the abuse of power.
Spying on Americans.
Spying on ALL Americans.
THAT is an ABUSE of power.
That is exactly what our founders and framers warned us of.
Now, let’s be clear…Anyone who’s been paying even a LITTLE bit of attention to the way things are, already knew that they were being watched but…It has ramped up and gone WAY out of control since the Dictator took office and now, we have it confirmed.
This Dictator has been anything BUT concerned with what our enemies are doing and, to be frank, in many cases, he’s been doing his level best to help them DO it.
Arms and F-16’s to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Telling Israel to go back to their pre-1967 borders on behalf of the Palestinian Authority. Telling the world there is still time and space for Iran to be dealt with diplomatically. Leading from behind on Libya. Allowing North Korea to do as they wish without ramifications…The list goes on and on.
No…He doesn’t want this Snowden weasel for letting the cat out of the bag regarding OUR enemies…HE WANTS THIS TWIRP FOR LETTING THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG REGARDING HIS ENEMIES…THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!!!
It is going to be completely disingenuous when this Dictator starts acting all concerned about secret intel going public and one need look no further back than to when his own administration gave secret intel assistance to HOLLYWOOD in the making of ”Zero Dark Thirty.”
One need look no further back to discover the Dictator’s REAL feelings regarding our agents in sensitive places, than to realize that the Pakistani Doctor who was a KEY in getting bin Laden is STILL locked up IN Pakistan.
And let’s not forget the 4 Americans, in harm’s way that this Dictator turned his back on in Benghazi.
Nope…
Obama doesn’t give a DAMN about our agents and our NATIONAL secrets…He just gives a damn about HIS OWN SECRETS.
The Dictator must be fit to be tied.
He needs to relax. He’s actually vibrating, he’s so mad that his dirty little secrets and being blown through whistles.
Somebody put on a “call to prayer” tape and tell him it’s gonna be okay…It’s just a “bump in the road” and while having your dirty laundry aired isn’t “optimum,” seriously…”What difference, at this point does it make???”
You watch…Obama and his ilk are going to do EVERYTHING they can to label Snowden as a TRAITOR and worse because, they hope, it will refocus the public ire over the REAL abuse of power in this case.
So far, I don’t believe anything Snowden has done or said rises to the level of treason as he has yet to divulge any details, names of cover agents, locations and operations under way.
He says he KNOWS these things and has had access TO them but, unless he opens his pie hole and starts naming names…At this point, he’s 
guilty of misuse of national security information, violating his contract and any oath he may have taken, along with being a self-centered self-appointed guardian of the world.
Who, exactly, in THIS corrupt administration is in ANY position to prosecute him for THAT???
Those are the VERY things Obama, Holder, Brennan, and so many OTHERS have done and if this administration doesn’t think ANOTHER can of worms will be opened when THOSE things come up in defense of Snowden in court…They need to think again.
Make no mistake…I DON’T want Edward Snowden protect me or my country and HE thinks HE’S protecting the entire WORLD but, I ALSO don’t want the GOVERNMENT in possession of my every phone record, email, key stroke or credit card transaction EITHER.
I want the government to monitor terrorists and the enemy and provide whatever level of security they can while doing THAT.
Once the government has all this OTHER information on EVERY American…The opportunity for ABUSING it is ENORMOUS…Especially under THIS regime.
Besides…NO amount of spying, be it phone calls, emails or key strokes can out maneuver THIS administrations FINAL arbiter of all things terroristic…

amazingly Snowden magically comes forward…admits he’s the one that leaked this– What bothers me about the whole “show” is the DICKTATOR – could it possibly be that Snowden is THEIR “fall guy” bought & paid for by the regime? Just going by the way the Thugs seem to operate, since they seem to be above any law! Clearly this IS a distraction and there seems to be a LOT of distractions lately —
We should clearly be focusing on BENGHAZI and The TRAITOR who gave the stand down order… we KNOW who that is, the only one that could issue such an order, the DICKTATOR!

Many excellent points Craig. I heard Boehner on with Stephanopolis this morning labeling Snowden a traitor. I think the REAL traitor abides in the Whitehouse. As you said, this young man so far has not divulged any details, and yet they treat him as though he has divulged our deepest national security secrets. Reminds me of that little film being blamed for Benghazi. The admin does things that are highly illegal and morally corrupt and finds a scapegoat to distract from what THEY are doing.
Even if they stop the spying right now, they already have enough information to intimidate people and blackmail people who are running or attempting to run for office. They can make sure that they stay in power with the info they already have, UNLESS the people can expose them and stop them. They have enough info on each person to threaten them into submission. They know every family member. if they can’t get to you, they will threaten to do something to your loved ones. This reminds me of the Stalin, Mao and Hitler regimes, except NOW there is nowhere to hide. Not in the whole world. We are so close to the point of being forced to take “the mark of The Beast” to show allegiance, or be shut out. Gee, now where was this prophesied? The implications of what this government (and others around the world) are doing is mind blowing and frightening, unless you know the ending. I know the ending and I know who wins.
