The doofus who keeps preaching publicly that the opposing sides should come together while, in private telling the side that’s not his…”It’s MY way or the HIGHWAY” finally got what he wasn’t planning for…He got HIS way.
BOTH sides, the Republicans and the socialists, agreed to accept HIS idea and then…HE SIGNED it. A BIPARTISAN agreement to the DICTATORS proposal of across the board cuts for the next 10 years.
And now, after having NOT been careful regarding that for which he wished, he GOT it and low and behold, it’s now…NOT smart, NOT fair, WILL hurt the economy and WILL cause a rise in unemployment.
We tried to tell him so. We tried to tell socialists. None of them would listen and they told us we were out of our minds. Heck, during the debates, when sequestration came up, the Dictator himself stated, without question, that it would not happen.
Now he’s in PANIC mode because we‘re only 9 days away from THE HAPPENING of it.
So how big IS this year’s sequestration bill?
All of $85 billion dollars and while that’s a chunk of change to you and me, it’s a paltry amount in comparison to the overall $1.3 TRILLION dollars the government plans to spend this year.
How MUCH of this is really the fault of Republicans?
Well, the republicans HAVE sent several proposals TO the Dictator saying we’ll cut so much from this, so much from that and the other thing and it will total up TO the $85 billion we need to cut HOWEVER…The Dictator has steadfastly REFUSED to agree to THOSE cuts and instead…proposes cuts to which the Republicans do not agree.
Partisan DISAGREEMENT is leading directly TO the DICTATOR’S plan of sequestration.

According to the MENSA candidate, the Border Patrol, our emergency responders, FBI agents and airport controllers would be facing cutbacks . Teachers, he said, would be laid off by the thousands and our military would be degraded.
Really?
Our Border Control has already been effectively neutered by the Dictator’s “dream act” policies and what else can be done to them? Maybe take away the desks they’re supposed to hide under our the scissors they are supposed to use should shots be fired?
The FBI? What…Is it going to take them 4 weeks to get to the scene of the attack rather than the 3 weeks it took them to get to Benghazi?

What WAS it he said about the military and these cuts back on November 21st 2012…Just 3 months ago?
He would VETO any attempt to stop the automatic spending cuts, both domestic AND MILITARY unless a BALANCED plan was put forward.
His outrage yesterday, regarding all those he NOW says will suffer at the hands of sequester, is 100% fake.
The Dictator GOT his TAX HIKES and unlike he claimed…EVEN THE MIDDLE CLASS GOT THEIR TAXES HIKED and now, whatever cuts that HAVE been put forth by Republicans in congress, the DICTATOR has shot down.
He wants MORE tax hikes.
MORE revenue.
And HE…The DICTATOR…Is holding the military hostage for what…$85 Billion dollars?
Notice that most of the rest of those the Dictator used as props and examples yesterday, teachers, cops, air traffic controllers, are public sector union workers.
Every time this Dictator finds himself in a tight spot, he trots out law enforcement and teachers doesn’t he?
It COULD all be avoided should congress pass yet ANOTHER extension BUT they ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT MAKE THAT MOVE.
Let sequester happen. LET it.
The MILITARY can weather this $85 billion dollar drizzle THIS year by giving up to 800,000 civilian defense contractors one day of unpaid furlough per week for 6 months and congress can and SHOULD continue proposing proper cuts in SPENDING throughout the year and let the DICTATOR be the one to either shoot them down one by one in a VERY public way OR…suck it up and agree to them.
Sequester IS…AFTER ALL…HIS idea and Republicans in congress should be taking EVERY opportunity to make THAT crystal clear.
The Dictator has painted HIMSELF into a corner.
If HE continues to veto common sense spending cuts leading up to the 2014 midterms…CONSERVATIVES will look much better to voters than will the socialists and if he agrees TO those common sense cuts…he will be admitting that CONSERVATIVES were correct all along.

Actually Craig I believe Obama is getting just what he wanted. More fodder to keep the GOP in the public’s cross hairs as the Party of No as we approach the 2014 midterms. The same with immigration and the homosexual movement. He couldn’t care less if he wins or not in these issues as that is not their purpose in pursuing them. It is to give the appearance he is pursuing them when in fact it is simply to keep the GOP demonized. Remember Obama is a community organizer first a politician second.
What he FAILS to mention…is that it is NOT REALLY CUTS at all….It is STOPPING the RATE OF GROWTH they have projected. that is it…NOTHING ELSE.
