Hi Craig, Excellent article and you have hit a home run on truth about the unions and our government, I have been a member of a union many years ago and believe me today’s union does not resemble yesterdays union in the slightest… When a group of union members refuse to take any cut in pay or benefits to save a co-workers job it is pretty bad and tells without doubt they are concerned ‘only’ with themselves, and if they have ‘no’ concern for a co-worker they sure will not have any concern for what is good for their country, or the overspending and taxation by the government… Unions truly have become a blight on our country with a display of greed and entitlement, they certainly have no place in public works, and need to be curtailed in the private sector as well.
All that you said is true, no need to say more. Some people do not get it and they never will.The only argument that Dems, Libs, socialists have is: race or President Bush. They never thought that he would drop out. Sharpton is a racist.
Just to point our that the Hostess executives cut the Employees salaries by at least 8%, and slashed their pensions. Then they RAISED their own salaries by 60-100% and the CEO raised his salary by a whooping 300%. So please explain how it is solely the unions fault?
