We can’t be policing the whole world.

How many times have you heard that?

It’s a false statement and I suspect even those who employ it, know it.

It’s not about policing, it’s about leading and the two are far different things. Now, perhaps more than ever before, the world needs a leader.

Obama doesn’t think so and neither do his followers.

Ron Paul doesn’t think so either and, of course, neither do HIS followers.

They are wrong. Dead wrong. And if we’re not careful, we’ll all be dead because they’re wrong.

Since the beginning of this nation, we have been that leader. In the war of independence, we defeated the world’s most powerful military force. Was it a fluke? Clearly, they thought so across the pond and so, they tested us again in the war of 1812.

We defeated them again.

Some thought that the war between the states would be our end. It wasn’t. In fact, it made us stronger.

Yes, there have been times when we stumbled…Korea…we stumbled. Vietnam? Yes, we stumbled.

Those were wars, on the world stage, battles.

While stumbling in the battles, on the world stage, we were still the leaders. The cold war loomed through both those conflicts and those who thought maybe we had lost our resolve found that, under Kennedy, we had certainly not.

While Nixon stumbled at home, on the world stage, he opened doors. Because we were the world’s strength, China and the Soviet Union, the world’s other two powers, began at least, to talk to us.

Reagan, through firm and unwavering resolve, won the cold war without firing a shot.

“Mr. Gorbachev…TEAR DOWN THIS WALL.”

It wasn’t that we made friends everywhere around the world. Those who were not our friends were, most decidedly, NOT our friends.

World leaders don’t need to be liked to lead.

We were respected.

Some feared us but in that fear, was respect.

Some did NOT fear us NOR did they respect us. THEY saw a lack of resolve. THEY thought that the nations THERY invaded weren’t worth our time or effort.

Saddam found out different in the early 1990’s. Kuwait WAS worth our time and effort and so was he.

Through the 8 years of Clinton’s presidency, he was stumbling, personally, and he turned the leadership roll over to the United Nations. Islamists were at war with us and we were NOT at war with them. The United Nations, like toothless dogs, passed resolution after resolution.

Emboldened by a leadership vacuum, Islamists attacked on 9-11.

Saddam, who had been put back in his box a decade earlier, thumbed his nose at the toothless United Nations.

They thought we had lost our resolve.

They were wrong.

And then, Obama.

He starts before his election by stating that the Muslim world would like us again just because of his mere presence. He begins his term with an apology tour. He goes to Cairo, invites the Muslim Brotherhood to be his guests and gives a speech.

He bows to other nation’s leaders.

He apologizes for American strength and exceptionalism.

Obama believed then, and now, that NO nation should have a station higher than any other on the world’s stage.

He set timelines for withdrawal.

He wouldn’t call things what they were. The “War on Terror” became…”Overseas Contingency Plans.” “Terror Attacks” became…”Man Made Disasters.”

The Fort Hood Terrorist Attack…”Workplace Violence.”

Obama wanted TERRORISTS tried in United States civilian courts where they would be protected by the rights afforded to United States citizens.

Obama threatened to prosecute those who, through waterboarding, attained intell from captured terrorists.

Obama was going to shut down GITMO and find a jail in the United States to hold those who had been captured.

Obama got bin Laden and turned the Doctor who had helped identify his whereabouts over to the Pakistan government and he made sure that bin Laden had as proper a Muslim funeral as possible.

Obama, in his campaign of drone attacks, killed Awlaki and then, sent a letter of condolence to the family.

Our enemies have been watching. They have seen Obama’s lack of resolve. They know the United Nations has no teeth.

Lead from behind? Yes. Obama led from behind and we watched as the flag of our enemy then flew in Benghazi.

Mubarak must go? Yes. We watched as the “Arab Spring” manifested in Cairo. We listened as Hillary Clinton told us that the Muslim Brotherhood was moderate. We heard Obama tell the world that the brotherhood should have a seat at the table.

That Brotherhood, the same that wants to dissolve the Egypt/Israel peace accord now runs Egypt from their seat at the table turned seat of power.

Iran, emboldened by Obama’s lack of resolve, now threatens Israel like never before and THEY watch while Obama refuses to meet with Netanyahu and refuses to draw a red line to stop THEIR resolve to develop nuclear weapons.

Our enemies have watched nearly 4 years of Obama’s foreign policy of appeasement and apologies and then came, 9-11-2012.

Islamists stormed our embassy in Cairo and our embassy personnel responded with an apology.

Islamists attacked our consulate in Benghazi, killing our Ambassador, a diplomat and 2 Navy Seals and how did Obama respond?

He issued a statement from the Rose Garden, condemning a 15 minute movie, reissued an apology and flew to Las Vegas to fund raise for his campaign.

For nine days…WE watched and listened.

Jay Carney: “This is a fairly volatile situation, and it is in response not to U.S. policy, not to, obviously, the administration, not to the American people. It is in response to a video – a film – that we have judged to be reprehensive and disgusting. That in no way justifies any violent reaction to it. But this is not a case of protests directed at the United States, writ large, or at U.S. policy. This is in response to a video that is offensive and – to Muslims.”

Hillary Clinton: “To us, to me personally, this video is disgusting and reprehensible. It appears to have a deeply cynical purpose to denigrate a great religion and provoke rage. But as we said yesterday, there is no justification — none at all — for responding to this video with violence.”

Susan Rice, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations: “In Cairo, as you know, a few hours earlier, there was a violent protest that was undertaken in reaction to this very offensive video that was disseminated. We believe that folks in Benghazi, a small number of people came to the embassy to – or to the consulate, rather, to replicate the sort of challenge that was posed in Cairo.”

And then, after 9 days…

On Friday, Matthew Olsen, director of the U.S. National Counter-terrorism Center, told the Senate, “I would say yes, they were killed in the course of a terrorist attack on our embassy.”

Jay Carney said, “It is, I think, self evident that what happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack.”

From Hillary Clinton…“What happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack.”

The only one who HASN’T changed their tune to what WE all knew from the moment of the attack, is Obama himself.

Why?

Because, next week, from the podium at the United Nations, we now know that he will, again, blame the movie and this week, he’s spending OUR taxpayer money to run $70,000.00 of commercials in Egypt to “denounce” that movie.

The 15 minute You Tube trailer for a low budget movie which virtually nobody has seen is getting publicity it could never, in a million years, afford to buy, from the PR firm of Obama, Clinton, Rice and Carney and next week, the head of that firm will publicize the very movie THEY claim INFLAMES our enemies from the pulpit of the United Nations.

It’s been 12 days since the act of war in Benghazi and what has Obama done there? He sent the FBI to investigate a crime scene rather than the United States military to secure the scene and the FBI can’t even GET to Benghazi because it’s too dangerous there.

Guess who is watching.

Our enemies no longer fear us.

Our allies no longer trust us.

Neither respect us.

And the only resolve we have left to show the world, is the resolve that we MUST show on November 6^th when we VOTE the Islamists favorite PR firm OUT of office lock, stock and barrel.
