Just one week shy of the proposed signing of a “treaty” with the United Nations which would cede our 2^nd Amendment rights to foreign countries like Iran, we had a mass killing in Aurora Colorado.

The rebuke by liberals was easy to predict.

It’s the guns they tell us. It’s the bullets.

We need stricter gun laws. We need gun bans. We need to restrict gun sales.

Oh the list of predictable responses by the liberal/socialists just never ends.

Then, along comes Mayor Bloomberg.

“I don’t understand why police officers across this country don’t stand up, collectively, and say, ‘We’re going to go on strike. We’re not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what’s required to keep us safe.”

Well, I have something to say to Bloomberg and I’ll say it, wringing every ounce of respect out of myself that he deserves.

Bloomberg…You are a socialist and an absolute idiot!!!!!

The IDEA of having cops go on strike until GUN CONTROL is in effect is as stupid  an idea as I have ever heard.

It’s downright un-American. It’s socialist in nature and it PALES in comparison to what’s about to happen.

I’m going to explain the history of this nation in terms that most people would never consider…

The average life expectancy in this country is 78.6 years.

The United States is 236 years old.

How in the WORLD could today’s United States citizens lose so much of the vision of our founders and framers in the lifespan of but 3 people is nearly beyond comprehension!!!

Of course, when you have a group bent on replacing that original vision with an ideology which has, time and time again, everywhere it’s been attempted, FAILED and they are willing to bamboozle a few generations of youths through public school and asylums of higher learning into ACCEPTING that failed ideology….

You gain an understanding of how PROGRESSIVE brainwashing can be.

It’s NOT than liberal/socialists don’t understand the 2^nd Amendment.

The 2^nd Amendment

“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

Liberal/socialists understand it completely and they are terrified OF it just as completely.

For decades, liberal/socialists have advocated the “civilian militia” interpretation of the 2^nd Amendment, which holds that the Second Amendment is no longer valid, having been intended to protect a militia system that is no longer in place.

This is what they have tried and in some cases, managed to instill into the minds of young people.

NOW, in any discussion of gun control, one is all too apt to hear THIS sort of inane liberal twisting of logic:

“There is no need for people to buy assault rifles or armor piercing bullets for hunting and therefore, both should be done away with.”

Let’s read that Amendment once again shall we?

Do YOU see anything in there regarding…HUNTING???

I don’t but, maybe it’s right next to the part of our founding documents where one would find the words…”SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.”

What liberals know all too well and are terrified of is this:

The 2^nd Amendment allows the people to keep and bear arms to protect themselves against their own government!!!

Adding punctuation to this FACT is the Oath of Office of the United States Military:

“I, [name], having been appointed (rank) do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God”

Given that oath, one can believe that against a government or administration employing oppression or engaged in tyranny would become the enemy of our military BUT

Should THAT be taken for granted?

Certainly not. While my faith is with our military my heart is with the Constitution.

Our founders and framers envisioned a republic under the control of the people not a government subjecting the people to ITS control and to preserve the republic they envisioned, those founders and framers made SURE, via the 2^nd Amendment, that the PEOPLE would have the ability, should the need ever arise, to take action to preserve the republic.

Never before have the liberal/socialists been so close to pushing the republic into the abyss of socialism and that is exactly why they are so desperate to nullify the 2^nd Amendment.

Desperate enough to now be on the verge of having Hillary Clinton or Obama sign away the 2^nd Amendment to a U.N. Treaty.

For any treaty to become law it must be ratified by 2/3 of the Senate. Right?

Not so fast.

According to the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties in 1969, once the treaty is SIGNED, nothing can be done to negate it in whole or in part while awaiting ratification.

Therefore, it simply needs to be signed by either Hilary or Obama, shelved by Harry Reid and we are bound TO it until such a time as it is ratified or not.

Right now, there are some 58 Senators who claim they will NOT ratify the treaty which is all the more reason for Reid to shelve it.

HOWEVER…one must seriously wonder how many liberal/socialist Senators who, PRE November election say they will NOT vote to ratify will show their TRUE colors and RATIFY this treaty as a LAME DUCK Senate POST November election.

If this “treaty” is signed and I believe it will be, and ratified by a lame duck Senate…IT REPLACES THE 2^ND AMENDMENT AND ONLY ANOTHER AMENDMENT CAN REMOVE IT FROM LAW.

It cannot be struck down by an act of congress or by Executive Order…ONLY BY A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT which generally takes between 6 – 10 YEARS.

OUR rights, under the 2^nd Amendment, will be ceded to the despots, dictators, terrorists, thugs and corrupt authority of the United Nations in a “treaty” which does NOT control GOVERNMENTS from trading weapons but INDIVIDUALS and WILL certainly be expanded to include BANS on private ownership OF arms.

Governments who don’t want their people to keep and bear arms are ALL FOR THIS TREATY and for VERY obvious reasons.

So is Obama and so are the liberal/socialists in THIS country and for the VERY same reasons.

Right now, the most common response by conservatives to the idea of expanded gun laws from liberal/socialists is this: “You can make guns illegal and criminals will be the only ones with guns.”

True enough.

However, once this treaty is signed and ratified…Simply OWNING a gun will soon make YOU the criminal and not just your garden variety criminal…YOUR OWNERSHIP OF A GUN WILL SOON MAKE YOU AN…INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL.

They can have your gun when they pry it from your cold, dead hands?

Trust me…That is EXACTLY what these liberal/socialists are COUNTING on and what they could never get through the passage of laws, they WILL get via international treaty and, they will have international law enacted by countries like Iran, China, Russia and many others on their side to remove that gun from your hands, cold and dead or warm and alive…it matters not.
