Well…It’s about time, isn’t it?

After being given more than a year to comply with congressional subpoenas and nearly a month after a Memorial Day weekend deadline went unheeded, It now looks as though congress, like most conservatives, have finally had enough of Eric Holder and his antics.

Last Saturday, in the article, “Mr. Speaker…File Contempt Charges…NOW!!” we at The National Patriot sent an open letter to Speaker Boehner’s office and asked that our Patriot readers follow suite and email the link to the article to him as well.

To believe it was our letter and the flooding of Boehner’s email which turned the tide would be a false pat on the back, but, it certainly didn’t hurt.

One can easily suspect similar pressure came from within the house chamber.

The list of Members of Congress who have called for Holder’s resignation or firing has grown over the last 6 months to now number more than 130. It’s very possible that number swelled after last Friday’s hearing in which, Holder again, stone walled and dodged questions.

Never, in memory, have we witnessed such a direct and compelling display of contempt of congress.

Also contained in our letter to Speaker Boehner was a 2 minute video showing direct perjury committed by Holder as he continually claimed that emails, directly referencing Fast and Furious, were not at all about Fast and Furious.

The vote on contempt charges WILL be held on June 20th UNLESS, between then and now, Holder comes forth with the 72,000 pages of documents, emails and memos which he has steadfastly declined to produce as per the subpoenas.

While sending the link to the NatPat article to Boehner over the weekend certainly wasn’t the deciding factor, one can easily believe it did in fact have some bearing. Those who took the time to email that article should be proud of the fact that they played a part in this morning’s decision.

There were, of course, those who simply threw their hands in the air and asked what it mattered? Why do anything, they asked, because congress never will.

There were those who claimed that now is not the time, not enough Members of Congress will sign on and that for even THINKING of sending such a letter to Boehner…I didn’t know my Arse from a hole in the ground.

Apparently, my ability to distinguish between the two, remains intact.

Now, it become imperative that we, as conservatives, send yet another clear and hard line message to Congress.

Tomorrow morning, I will have THAT message prepared and ready for our readers to forward to each and every Member of their state’s representatives.

Friends and Patriots, THIS is how We The People take control of our government.

THIS is our beginning.

This is also the beginning of the END for Eric Holder.

After the vote on the 20^th, should congress heed our call tomorrow, it will be all but impossible for Obama to keep Holder in his position.

Imagine a president, backing an Attorney General who has been found in contempt of congress. The only way for Obama to save even a smidgen of face would be for Holder to resign or for Obama to fire him.

Expect the former, not the latter but either way, for Obama, it’s too little too late.

Obama has, for far too long, stood behind Holder and defended his actions. Regardless of how Holder leaves office, Obama’s long time defense of him will not be erased.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again…June is shaping up to be the worst month for any president in history during an election year.

Obama and the liberals, socialists and unions lost the Wisconsin Governor’s reelection.

Florida is now challenging the Obama administration cease and desist order regarding the purging of their voter rolls of illegal aliens.

Obama claimed that the national security leaks were NOT coming from HIS administration.

Obama is about to lose the Obamacare mandate in the Supreme Court this month.

Obama is about to lose on the Arizona SB1070 law suit in the Supreme Court this month.

And now, Obama’s hand-picked Attorney General is about to be found in contempt of congress this month.

Obama choose to build his presidency, from his administration to his domestic and foreign policy, as a house of cards upon the shakiest foundation possible…Socialism…And June is shaping up to be the perfect storm.

He can and will blame everything from Bush to tsunamis…From congress to racism but he knows those are all false allegations.

He is but man, WAY out on a limb with a saw, hoping that a collection of strings will keep him from falling. The fact of the matter is; he can’t speak without somebody putting the words in his mouth and he can’t dance without a puppet master.

History, I believe, will record June, 2012, as the month that ended Obama’s assault on  American principles.

Tomorrow, the letter for all Members of Congress. Remember, by sending it to them, We The People CAN have an impact!
