14 percent. That, according to a recent survey, is the number of people who strongly agree that Obama is handling the gas price issue well. 14 percent.

Who ARE those people? How much Kool Aid are THEY drinking and WHAT are they smoking?

65 percent disapprove; and of that 65 percent, 52 percent disapprove STRONGLY. Heck, 59 percent disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy. 50 percent disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy strongly.

In nearly every campaign appearance, Obama pats himself on the back for his own handling of the gas price situation but the spinning is starting to make people dizzy. That’s because in nearly every campaign appearance, Obama is taking both sides of the issue.

No surprise, it’s what liberals do but apparently, there ARE 14 percent of people who are completely unable to see through it.

Here’s how the liberal double spin works.

Obama and his liberal/socialist lemmings tell us that oil and gas are the energy sources of the past. They’re old hat, obsolete, passé, and as hip as an 8 track tape. We hear that over and over again.

Obama and his liberal/socialist lemmings also tell us that, “We can’t just drill our way out of the problem.” We hear THAT over and over too, don’t we?

Obama and his liberal/socialist lemmings have been telling us that even if we WERE to drill here drill now, it would take 10 to 15 years for any oil produced to have a positive effect on the economy. In fact, Obama aside, liberal/socialists have been using THAT line for more than 2 decades.

Now, here’s a little something ELSE Obama and his liberal/socialist lemmings have been telling us at nearly every campaign appearance.

“Under my administration, domestic oil and natural gas production is up, while imports of foreign oil are down.”

“President Obama has opened millions of new acres for oil and gas exploration and we now have more working oil and gas rigs than the rest of the world—combined.”

Hokey Pokey? Hocus Pocus is a much more apt description.

If we can’t drill our way out of the problem and it takes at least 10 years to realize any effect if we WERE to drill…

How exactly IS it then, that Obama’s policies are making have created MORE domestic oil?

While conservatives are calling for “Drill, baby, drill” and “Drill here, drill now,” Obama and his liberal/socialist lemmings are employing “Spin, baby, spin” and ”Spin here, spin now.”

Obama has been in office for less than 4 years, granted, it’s been a very LONG 3 ½ years but, it’s only been 3 ½ years. If it takes a decade or more for any new drilling to produce usable oil, it can’t POSSIBLY be Obama to whom credit should be given…or Obama who should claim credit.

Any of that weird 14 percent who believe Obama is handling the gas price situation in a stellar manner or any liberal/socialist lemming who firmly believes we can’t drill our way to prosperity, needs to have a good close look at North Dakota.

In North Dakota, there are some 200 rigs drilling about 100 new wells every month. In North Dakota, there are more job openings than there are people to fill them. North Dakota has the lowest unemployment rate in the nation. North Dakota, as a state, has a 1 billion dollar surplus.

In western North Dakota, the starting wage at McDonalds is now between $15 and $18 per hour.

Home builders in North Dakota can’t keep up with the demand.

The oil boom in North Dakota is taking place on private land and has not a single thing to do with Obama or his “policies.”

Another prime example of the Obama liberal/socialist hocus pocus can be easily and clearly seen in the Keystone XL Pipeline debacle.

Obama makes the decision to disallow the Keystone Pipeline.

Obama says it’s because there hasn’t been enough study done.

Obama’s liberal/socialist lemming mouthpiece, Jay Carney claims Obama did NOT deny the pipeline deal.

When a way AROUND Obama’s non denial of the Keystone XL Pipeline deal comes up for a vote in the senate last week, Obama himself takes to the phones to urge liberal/socialist senate lemmings to vote it down.

It fails even though 11 liberal senators break party lines and vote FOR it.

Obama and his liberal/socialist lemming mouthpieces then come out and tell us it’s the republicans who are playing POLITICS with the Keystone XL Pipeline deal.

The price at the pump has risen another nickel over the weekend. It’s risen 30 cents over the last month. Gas cost $1.81 when Obama first occupied the oval office and today, the national average is $3.80. That’s the average. In some places it’s already as much as $6.00 per gallon.

Liberal/socialists will tell you, it’s OPEC…It’s oil speculators, Wall street…That’s what is artificially inflating the cost of gas.

Okay, but WHY are we over the OPEC barrel?

Because we’re NOT oil independent. Why are we DEpendent on foreign oil? Because of liberal/socialist policies which have FORCED us into that position over the last 30 years. The EPA, environmentalists, global warming religion of falsehood purveyors…little green lemmings all…

No drilling, no new refineries equals dependence on FOREIGN oil rather than INDEPENDENCE based on DOMESTIC oil.

Stopping subsidies to oil companies won’t help. Oil companies will pass the higher cost of oil products directly to the consumer.

Increased subsidies to greenie weenie companies? Not working. In fact, greenie weenie companies have been subsidized to the tune of 1000 times per kilowatt hour produced than oil and it’s the greenie weenies who are going out of business.

Mandated by the EPA, summer blends cost more than winter blends, oil companies are fined for not including biofuel additives that don’t even exist.

If any party is playing politics with gas prices it’s the liberal/socialists and it’s not something new. It’s been ongoing for the last 3 decades and yet, transparently, they continue to blame Republicans, OPEC, Wall street and the weather.
