Weekend at Bernie’s was a GREAT movie and one of the funniest premises ever. The original made a ton of money and like ANY Hollywood flick that makes money…it got a sequel.

Weekend at Bernie’s 2 was okay but not great and it didn’t make anywhere near what the original made.

Now…we have Weekend at Bernie’s 3 and this one stars…Obama!

In the threequel…We find Obama hauling around a dead jobs bill trying to convince voters that it’s still alive and well. Obama is cruising the states in his Canadian bus touting the bill which met its grisly end in the Senate last week.

Instead of the American Jobs Act, let’s call it the Bernie Lomax Bill.

Today, in North Carolina, Obama was seen trying to prop the cadaver up and waving its arms about on a campaign stop in the state. Later today, he’ll be buying the cadaver drinks in Virginia.

Here’s the thing, like the viewers of the movie, conservatives know it’s a cadaver….Obama knows it’s a cadaver, liberals know it’s a cadaver…but the liberals and Obama are trying to make voters believe it can still fog a mirror.

No doubt, Obama will eventually take the Bernie Lomax Bill to the beach, to parties and into a hot tub. He’ll put sunglasses on it, take it dancing and hit it with a fly swatter.

In the original, the guys were trying to fool a hired killer into thinking Bernie was still alive so he wouldn’t kill THEM. In THIS version, Obama is trying to convince the electorate that the Bernie Lomax Bill is still alive so they won’t vote for the OTHER guy.

In the 1989 original, the guys drove Bernie around in a red Porsche golf cart. In the 2011 threequel, Obama is driving the Bernie Lomax Bill around in his bus.

The only good part of the sequel was the Bernie dance, when he was a zombie. I today’s version, the song and dance by Obama can only be bought into by zombies.

With Obama’s approval rating dropping like the box office receipts of Weekend at Bernie’s 2, Obama is desperate to breathe some life into his deceased Jobs Plan but he needs to admit, it’s over, finished, kaput…toes up dead. Obama also has to come to the realization it died at the hands of his liberal controlled senate.

What’s worse is the fact that had Obama and the liberals in the senate agreed to an up or down vote when McConnell called for it, it may well have passed but, they called it a stunt and delayed the vote.

“Resuscitate this bill. Resuscitate it right away. Resuscitate it now. Resuscitate it. Resuscitate the bill.”

Good grief.

First, Obama called a joint session of congress to pitch this thing, then he went on the campaign trail to push it knowing it was DOA and NOW, after the toe tag has been tied onto it, he continues to campaign on it as though it is still viable.

He’s embarrassing himself.

Just as Weekend at Bernie’s 2 masqueraded as a movie, this bill was masquerading as a job creator. The American Jobs Act was a lame sequel to 2009’s Stimulus 1 and nobody was in the mood for another half trillion dollar money flush.

Liberals need to summon all their collective courage, band together and let their leader know he’s beating the tar out of a dead horse – however, as they say, you can lead a dumb ass to water but you can’t make him drink…or something like that.
