The Epic Meltdown Continues

The epic meltdown continues.ness 1

It used to be that we had to wait for a debate to watch Donald Trump meltdown but now that the debates are over, we are being treated to a daily meltdown by his Trumpness and it shows no signs of letting up anytime soon.

News broke over the weekend that Ted Cruz, it seems, has secured more delegates in Louisiana, despite having finished second there, and due to Cruz’s ability to woo and win over unpledged delegates along with his ability to corral five of the top six delegates regarding Louisiana’s convention rules committee.

When his Trumpness became aware of this fact, on Easter Sunday, he tweeted his mixture of astonishment and anger and threatened a lawsuit over it.

It’s a lawsuit, should he even file it, that he will lose because there is nothing whatsoever illegal about it. It is simply a chess game and Cruz is better at it than is Trump. No changes were made to any rules and Cruz did nothing more than do what any candidate, including Trump should have done. He stayed engaged with the delegates, made his case on policy and substance and won those delegates over.

The same situation is happening in Georgia and now we learn it is happening also in Virginia because, unlike the narcissistic Trump, who thinks it all about him, Cruz knows it’s all about the delegates themselves and Cruz has taken the proper steps to make his case, post primary, while Trump has simply walked away, believing he had those delegates in the bag.

There is also another reason for Trump losing these delegates…

ness 2Trump, his Trumpness, who always claims to have surrounded himself with the best and brightest, has in fact surrounded himself with sycophants whose primary task is to “yes sir” his Trumpness every minute of the day and late at night when his Trumpness tends to engage in meltdown Twitter tirades rather than with people who actually know what they’re doing.

The “best and brightest” that his Trumpness could find apparently don’t know the first thing about maintaining a competent campaign ground game which makes one have to wonder how his little band of sycophants will perform should he somehow win the White House which most national polls give him no chance of doing.

His Trumpness is also continuing his meltdown over that ad featuring his wife, Melania, by promoting the lie that Cruz was behind it while it has been proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Cruz has absolutely nothing to do with it.

The ad in question, was produced and circulated, not by a pro-Cruz Super Pac, but by an anti-Trump Super Pac that has no connection to Ted Cruz or his campaign in any way, shape or form. Trump immediately created and had his minions distribute a meme comparing Cruz’s wife, Heidi, to Melania…based on nothing but looks as a complete misogynist would, and his Trumpness himself then threatened to “spill the beans” on Heidi Cruz.ness 3

That, of course, was followed by a salacious article in a cat box liner publication, The National Enquirer, of an alleged five mistresses of Ted Cruz and while Trump has maintained he wasn’t behind that attempted smear, and the owner of the Enquirer, David Pecker, has denied Trump was involved…it cannot go without note that his Trumpness and his Peckerness are close friends and that the Enquirer has endorsed Donald Trump in this race.

There are a couple of facts here that need to be highlighted.

First, after Cruz rightly denied any involvement in the Melania ad, and after the head of the anti-Trump Super Pac, Liz Mair, came forward and also denied any connection to Cruz or any pro-Cruz Super Pacs , and for that matter, after the in-the-tank-for Trump Sean Hannity admitted that the Melania ad was not tied to ted Cruz and Trump’s big lie was exposed…Trump has continued the lie ad nauseam.

Second, as to theness 4 Enquirer rubbish…

After 3 of the 5 women whose faces were ever-so-lightly blurred in the photos accompanying the rubbish came forward to slam the article and it’s lies…Trumpers everywhere started trying to assess blame for it directly on Marco Rubio but there’s a big problem with this blame transference…it isn’t true.

It all stemmed from some obtuse article that alleged that some unnamed ally of Rubio was the one who fed this rubbish to the National Enquirer…not that Rubio himself was the source and the obtuse article even went so far as to make a point that whoever this unnamed ally is supposed to be, the unnamed ally was not a part of the Rubio campaign.

This naturally doesn’t mean anything to his Trumpness’s blind, low-information followers because if Rubio’s name was in the obtuse article…Rubio himself must be at fault while nothing could be further from the truth.

So why the transference of blame?

Obviously, these Trumpers know the truth but they just can’t bring themselves to admit the truth or state the truth and in an attempt to draw attention away from the Trump/Pecker undeniable relationship, they are trying to make Rubio out to be the culprit. Besides, it was Trumpers almost exclusively who spread the Enquirer smear through social media and now it is primarily Trumpers trying desperately to blame it all on Rubio. They’re just looking for a scapegoat to take the pressure off of themselves.

I’m not saying that Trump was behind the ill-conceived attempted smear of Ted Cruz but the timing of it, along with the undoubtedly Trump originated attacks against Heidi Cruz coupled with the Trump/Pecker relationship unquestionably stinks to the stratosphere but dv 1in yet another transference of blame, many Trumpers pointed to some guy, supposedly a columnist for the Washington Times who supposedly confirmed the Enquirer smear piece. Well, as it turns out, that guy, Drew Johnson, was never a Washington Times columnist…he wrote a citizen’s journalist piece called “Comminities” and due to his misrepresenting himself as a Times reporter, he’s now been fired.

But what we’re now seeing, from his Trumpness and his Trumpers, is strikingly transparent.

His Trumpness 5ness’s low, sleazy road, replete with personal attacks and desperate attempts to bully and lie his way to the GOP nomination, is failing.

So miserable was the crash and burn of Trump’s attacks against Heidi Cruz and the attempted smear of Ted Cruz by whoever was behind it, that on Monday morning, Trump desperately attempted to distance himself from himself by begging talk radio host Charlie Sykes to change the subject. In fact, so desperate was Trump’s desire to change the subject that he begged Sykes to change it to something he knows nothing about…policy positions.

Listen to the interview below.

Oh, my goodness…to get away from the self-imposed sleaze campaign, Trump tried to take a stand on policy and ended up making absolutely no sense whatsoever. And to make matters even worse for his Trumpness, it was a Wisconsin talk radio show and Cruz has already taken the lead in that state according to the most recent polling data.

When confronted with his misogynistic view of women in the interview, Trump narcissistically tried to make the case that he was better for women than any other candidate and tried to justify his ill behavior by telling Sykes that were Megyn Kelly a man, he would have said the exact same things about him which, one can only suppose, means that Trump would have called a man a bimbo and attacked a man’s menstrual cycle which, in true Trump fashion, makes no sense at all.ness 6

A little later in the interview, when confronted regarding lies he’s told about Governor Walker and the Wisconsin economy, his Trumpness transferred blame to Time magazine thus admitting that he, himself, had no idea what he was talking about but he simply took the word of a far-left liberal publication and ran with it without doing any research of his own.

Then, Sykes runs through a laundry list of some of his Trumpness’s other far-left leaning advocacy points and his Trumpness’s outright lies in stating that he was never asked about them prior to his 2016 candidacy. He was asked about them over the years and his far-left responses are now a matter of record on video and he attempts to make the case for himself that he is a true conservative by outright admitting that he has bought politicians for political favors for decades and attempts to justify it in the name of business as he never thought about running for office before…which is also a lie as he certainly thought of it in 2012 and he actually did it in 2000.

Trump also claims that in the last few years, he’s been very Republican oriented…which is also a lie as he donated money, as late as 2014, to destroy the Tea Party.

As to his threat of a 45% tariff on imports, Trump says A) it will never happen and B) it was just a threat which tells anyone listening that he is simply bluffing…saying what people want to hear, but meaness 7ning none of it when it comes to trade. This, of course, is vastly different from what Trump said in a Fox Business debate in January. When questioned regarding his proposed 45% tariff back then, Trump claimed he had never told the NY Times any such thing. Then, the Time produced the audio of his saying that he would, indeed, place a 45% tariff on Chinese imports. So, he said it…claimed he didn’t, the audio proves he did and now he claims he bluffing? Not that it matters to Trumpers but to any voters who have their eyes wide open…it’s obvious he’ll say anything whether he means it or not.

And in the end, his Trumpness reverts to the standard practice of a 3 year old in a sandbox with, ‘I didn’t start it, he started it, it wasn’t me it was him’ which goes a long, long way to highlighting the man’s mentality.

The Wisconsin primary is only one week away and the polls are reflecting Trump’s meltdown there with Cruz leading anywhere from 36% – 35% in one poll and 36%-31% in another and that gap seems to be increasing in favor of Ted Cruz but it’s not the only polling data that reflects Trump’s meltdown.

In favorability ratings for Trump and Cruz in Wisconsin:

  • Men: 59/47, Trump; 64/32 Cruz
  • Women: 40/50 for Trump; 58/32, Cruzness 8
  • Independents: 33/61, Trump; 48/44, Cruz

If we look ahead to the June 7th primary in California…Cruz is now within 1% of his Trumpness and that slim one point lead is about to vanish.

In other recent polling, 47% of Republican women find Trump to be so distasteful they can’t imagine themselves voting for him and that’s nationwide. A  USA Today/Rock the Vote poll shows Trump getting his Chinese hat handed to him by millennials in a head to head with Hillary 52%-19%.

With 20 or so primaries to go, it looks more and more like no candidate will reach the magic number of 1,237 ness 9and we’re headed to a contested convention. If that’s the case, Ted Cruz will most likely become the Republican nominee because the delegates know what none of his Trumpness’s sycophants will tell him…that Trump’s entire platform is based on his own view of himself and absolutely not on substance or policy as pertains to being the president.

And in the face of that reality…the epic meltdown of his Trumpness…continues.
