Just A couple of weeks ago, on March 3rd, the University of California Irvine student government voted. The tally was 6-4-2 in favor of banning the American flag from a lobby on campus all in the name of “cultural inclusivity.”

These students, in an asylum of higher indoctrination claimed it was offensive to illegal aliens.

“The American flag has been flown in instances of colonialism and imperialism. There were people who were like, ‘the flag triggers me’ – that was their exact wording, too.”

The Executive Leadership of that student government body vetoed the ban but that wasn’t the last word on the topic.

According to the Chancellor of U.C. Irvine…Howard Gillma…“Regardless of your opinion on the display of the American flag, we must be united in protecting the people who make this university a premier institution of higher learning.”

And what of those who are paid by taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate tomorrow’s leaders today? What did the professors, steeped in liberal/socialism for generations have to say regarding this matter???

How did the professors at U.C. Irvine respond to those who voted to BAN our American flag from that campus lobby???

Oh my…

“We admire the courage of the resolution’s supporters amid this environment of political immaturity and threat, and support them unequivocally.”

Before I explore this anti-American statement…be aware that these sentiments are not confined to a gaggle of pointy-headed socialists and communists at U.C. Irvine…no…this is the prevailing mindset amongst professors at asylums of higher indoctrination from sea to shining sea and this IS exactly what they are so desperate to instill in every young mind on every such campus.

To these commies…taking pride in one’s country or in its flag…simply displaying the flag of our nation is immature…childish…the opiate for dullards, and those who honor our flag or our nation are, to them, a threat.
But a threat to what, exactly?

A threat to their goal of “fundamental transformation.”

Our founders and framers embarked on a world-changing mission…to create a nation of the people, by the people and for the people. They entrusted to future generations, including the generation sitting in today’s classrooms in such asylums as the one in Irvine…a system of government that was accountable to the people.

We the People.

That, in and of itself, is an anathema to the socialist/communist mindset of liberals and any symbol OF that trust, in this case…our flag…must be done away with post haste. Take it down…lock it away. Out of sight out of mind. Keep it hidden and pretty soon, the indoctrinated won’t even remember what it looked like or what it stood for.

Freedom? No such thing to a liberal.

Liberty?

Shut the hell up.

Certain unalienable Rights…endowed by the Creator???

FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION!!! FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION!!!!!

Our flag, old glory has 13 stripes signifying the 13 original colonies that fought for independence from tyrannical rule…50 stars…one for each of our current states and while all men are created equal has been a work in progress for 238 plus years…no flag on earth has stood for the freedoms of more people around the world than has OUR flag.

Burn our flag if that is your want but remember, that in doing so, you are burning the very symbol of the country which protects your right to strike that match.

Liberals believe our Constitution is old…a relic…and that it should be done away with. They believe our rights, as written in the Bill of Rights are not endowed by the Creator but doled out to us by the government and therefore can be altered or cancelled at the whim of government.

Liberals believe that We the People ought to be beholding TO the government for our every want or need and that government is a better arbiter of our earnings, our possessions and our very lives than are we as individuals.

Those professors at U.C. Irvine, like the vast majority of professors in the vast majority of colleges and universities, believe that the people of this nation are accountable to the government and not the other way around.

Hello socialism.

Hello communism.

A Constitutional Republic is not at all what THEY want. What THEY desire is the “fundamental transformation” into a BANANA Republic.

Let’s get back to that work in progress I mentioned earlier.

Fifty years ago…things needed to change.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. led a march from Selma to Montgomery and just as that march was getting started…Alabama State Troopers attacked the civil rights demonstrators. It became known as ‘Bloody Sunday.”

The southern states, in the hands of democrats, had maintained strict and discriminatory requirements that made it nearly impossible for black people to vote. They were Americans. They believed that the Constitution and the rights endowed by the Creator made THEM equal and they were 100% correct.

After two failed attempts to get the march started and a great deal of violence and several deaths…march they did when the third attempt was protected by the United States Military…the Alabama National Guard…FBI Agents and U.S. Marshals.

And what did those marchers carry with them, averaging ten miles a day for a total of 54 miles?

The United States flag.

The symbol of the nation which protected their rights.

Things did change and for the better.

Now, some 50 years later…today’s ‘progressives’…the liberals…socialists and communists who want the American flag banned from a lobby on a university campus…have managed to RE-gress to a point in time that nobody can even remember.

To celebrate those who believe that things could be better and put that work in progress on a fast track 50 years ago…Obama and his race-baiting team of haters went to Selma last week and stood on that historic bridge…just like MLK and all those demonstrators did but something was different.

Very different.

There were no American flags.

50 years on and the black community that nearly votes in lockstep with the party that suppressed them 50 years ago and uses them for their votes today didn’t carry the symbol of freedom and liberty that meant so much in 1965.

That’s because today, the flag means nothing to those on the liberal side of the political aisle.

Thomas Jefferson, the author of our Declaration of Independence was from Virginia and I suspect he would be spinning in his grave today as in Portsmouth Virginia…Sheriff Bill Watson has been ordered to REMOVE a United States Flag from, of all places, the COURTHOUSE where the laws of our country are upheld.

The Sheriff was told by a group of JUDGES no less that…“Not only do we not want it on the wall, we don’t want it in the courthouse.”

The flag, constructed of fire hose was a gift from the Portsmouth Fire Department a few weeks ago and Sheriff Watson’s response???

“I just can’t believe that they don’t want to display the American flag in a courthouse, I mean that’s the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard in my life. You can quote me on this, ‘God bless America. Let the flags fly!'”

He’s right of course…HE has common sense and a sense of honor for his country and our flag but we are always hearing of those who are ordered to remove an American flag from their yard or balcony or window lest it offend someone.

Really?

If our flag, the stars and stripes is offensive to anyone, then so to must this country offend them…what with our freedoms, liberties and our rights so…if YOU are so offended then…LEAVE.

You are free to get lost. Free to find a country that doesn’t offend your delicate socialist or communist sensibilities. Go find some third world country where the GOVERNMENT controls your every move and tells you what you can say and think.

Get the hell OUT of THIS country and take up residence where some other country’s flag, which represents its ruler rather than its people doesn’t offend you in the least and stay there…without your freedoms…without your liberties and most decidedly…without your rights.

One more thing…

Have YOU ever noticed that those raising the stink about hiding our flag do so because MUSLIMS may be offended or ILLEGAL ALIENS may be offended while they, the stink raisers are neither Muslims nor illegal aliens? They want us all to believe they are SO in tune with the feelings of others that THEY are operating on some unseen higher plain than the rest of us.

BULLCRAP!!!

What they are…are disingenuous COWARDS who can’t bring themselves to admit publicly that THEY themselves are OFFENDED by our flag and our country lest they OUT themselves for the socialists and communists they really are!

If socialism and communism, the ideologies of liberals are so wonderful…why must those who advocate them always hide and blame the practices they want so desperately to employ on someone else?

Because they can’t destroy this nation in the harsh light of truth and they know it which is why they must start the indoctrination process with school children…continue the indoctrination through the college years and count on their ilk to push it through our courts of law.

Liberals will tell me I’m making mountains of mole hills and attack me rather than dealing with the facts in this article and to them…I say…

Run cockroaches run…I just turned on the lights.
